deal with old school. techs who are willing to replace parts, and not try to sell you a new update system, with extras. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Mr. Downing contacted me as soon as I submitted my request and repaired the freon leak for a very reasonable price. Other contractors suggested I replace the Evaporator Coil for $1k.

Phillip called and came over FAST to give me an estimate. My problem was a result of another company (not found through HomeAdvisor) for duct cleaning. This other company used a gel deodorizer I was highly allergic to and the smell was so bad it soaked into my duct-work and return plenum everything had to be replaced before I turned my system on. Philip gave me a GREAT price to do all the work and had everything finished up in a couple of days before it got cold outside. His price was so much lower than another heating and air company I had received an estimate for it wasn't even funny. I highly recommend GLR Enterprises/Philip Downing.

Mr. Downing and his assistance provided exceptional / knowledgeable service. He checked to insure the work was totally completed before asking for any compensation. The only negative comment is in reference to his ad of giving military / senior citizens a ten percent discount. it's not applicable to everything. Other than that I highly recommend Mr. Downing *****************************************.

GLR called within 2 mintues of my request being submitted on Service Magic. They said and did all the right things to earn my business. They came out to check my A/C unit (not cooling as it should) and decided that the outer units both needed to be washed and cleaned thoroghly. They did so, and even added freon for $100 per unit. Since then, unit has been much more efficient in cooling! Thanks GLR! We'll be looking to do business again with you in the future for any A/C needs!

He was easy to work with at a good price. He called and came to determine parts on Sat and got it fixed on Monday.

They were 30 min. late but did call and advise me they would be late. Were very efficient and worked hard to correct my problem. The reason mainly for the low rating is that when Mr. Downing left I requested a written work/product guarantee or receipt for the work done. He advised me that he didn't have the means to do that and would e-mail me one. I have called and requested from him some documentation 3 times in the past 5 weeks and have yet to receive any documentation. (When I called the 3 times he never asked me for my e-mail address again so I rather doubt he still has it.

Professional response. Arrived earlier than discussed. Had part from my general problem description on the truck when he arrived. Would recommend.

Busy man. Could not complete the project on the same day as he had a temporary part which got us comfortable and came back a couple of days later and swapped out the temp part for a perm part and cleaned out the compressor. Price was very reasonable. Philip is a one man band so there's no high pressure...seems to know his air conditioning...that's the bottom line.

Fast and through. Was able to fix our A/C on a sweltering day when other companies (including one we have a contract with) gave us timeframes of a few days to a week.
