Last Summer my A/C went out. The company we had used in years past let quality slide to the point of "get out of my house!" They did the A/C with less than zero issues. Come to think of it, the service was like a visit from a past era when people tried to do the right thing and companies were not just in it for a buck. Funny story. I had to call them for service not long after the install because a storm knocked out my power while I was at work. The house was toasty when I arrived because the power just returned. The tech was unaware of the outage and was puzzled. He assured me things would be cool in about an hour, which they were. Haven't had an issue since. First "maintenance" visit today. Again, fantastic experience! Choose Goff when you get the chance.

It turned out to be a blown fuse. However, I made the call Sunday afternoon and the technician (Boyce) was there and had completed the evaluation and repair within 2 hours

He was a little later than I was told, but he was very nice and professional. He did the work quickly as I needed to go to work.

Called Goff on Friday morning, 2/2. Tech arrived before noon and diagnosed the problem within 2 hours. Explained options for repair (almost $2k in parts & labor) and replacement. Long story short, we went with a new furnace (old furnace was 15 years old, and repairs would be complex). Given that it was Friday afternoon, they thought the earliest replacement could be made would be Tuesday. The office called me back and let me know they could get it done on Saturday, 2/3, for the same price. They were at the house by 8 am on 2/3 and were done by 1 pm. Awesome service, work and responsiveness.

Goff was amazing. They did a super job, super fast and it was done right for an excellent price. Since there was some water in my basement, they even put the furnace on concrete blocks to raise it up so it will not rust out from the water. Another company I hired previously tried and failed to repair my furnace by replacing wrong parts. The guy from Goff was surprised about what the other guy thought was the problem, the Goff guy was much more knowledgeable, much more helpful, and Goff did everything exactly as I requested. I accepted some options that added to the price but I should have taken the humidifier option too, so if you do this, consider taking that option. Goff is the only company I would ever consider hiring in the South Bend - Mishawaka area.

The service went well. I got a good deal on the units. The installation was complicated, but went very well. They were really good about accommodating my needs for the installation. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that they are extremely vigilant about their money. In order to pay with a credit card, they said I needed to pay 2-3 days before the installation so that the payment would process before the installation took place. I agreed to pay them with a check after the installation was done. The installation took until around 5:30, but the salesman showed up at around 3:30 asking for the check.

Furnace trouble was quickly and accurately diagnosed

The Goff crew showed up on time, finished the project in a timely manner and the wife now has a comfortable home again.

<p>Gave estimate.  Completed furnace install in one day and returned about one week later to finish A/C.  At that time I requested some additional work and they returned 2 days later and completed that.. </p>

I used them at an old residence and I reused them because they were always responsive and helpful and economical. They have very low turnover on technicians and employees. They're just very responsive. I've never had trouble with anything they've done. You can give them A for everything. I did get a lot of quotes and they had the best information. They'd be my first choice.

I have a two free service agreement for both Air Conditioners and my furnace with these folks.  This was granted to me when they installed my 2nd floor A/C.  Recently they came to inspect my furnace.  Shortly thereafter my igniter went out.  These are like light bulbs and you never know when one will quite.  Consequently the furnace went out.  They were back the next day and got my furnace working before the house got too cold.  Very punctual, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. <br /> Then my furnace went out again a couple of days later.  Again they were there the next day.  This time the cause was due to heat exchanger tubes that cannot be inspected unless one dismantles the furnace.  No fault of Goff Heating and A/C. <br /> Since the furnace was 12 years old and other parts of the furnace were about to go out, I elected to get a new furnace.  They were able to get my furnace working temporarily until the new furnace could be installed.  I got the new furnace at a sale price, plus $1,000 coming back from a combination of Gas Company and Furnace company credits/rebates.  Net cost: $2856.  Additionally I received credit on the igniter they previously installed.  A couple of days later the thermostat went out.  They were out the same day and gave me a new one <strong>FREE!</strong> <br /> What more could you ask of company.  They are the best and I can't recommend them enough. <br />  . <br />
