Go Go Green Insulation

I researched and found Devon and his company were very well reviewed and he was great on the phone. We have a 1904 home with vermiculite and old batting for insulation in the attic. Devon came out to the house and was planning to do the removal of the old insulation but the vermiculite was determined to have asbestos, so we had everything in the attic remediated. Devon told me about the ZAI Trust and I was able to submit a claim for the abatement and reinsulation. Devon also discovered that a small roof off the kitchen/dining area was uninsulated as well as the dormer roof and the ensuite below it. We had to reschedule suddenly due to Mum being admitted to the ER, and Devon had no issue with this at all, and was very supportive. Devon and his team did an amazing job! What great people! They worked so hard and the spackling job to cover the holes was terrific. We just primed and painted. Devon will be back here to review the insulation status in the rest of the home, as the old foam insulation may need to be supplemented. I'd hire Go Go Green Insulation in a heartbeat and have already recommended them to a couple of neighbours. Old home, apt. or new build, these guys are the BEST!

Devon and his crew did an awesome job. We had a few areas where the cellulose was going into the basement and Devon was prepared to handle it. He sealed the open space going into the basement and went back and sealed up the walls, The apt is so warm now and even when my boiler died, the place was still warm for hours, I will definitely use Devon and Go Go Green again in the future.

They showed up exactly when they said they would. They were efficient, neat and made sure to send me pictures in the various stages of execution. And they cleaned up better than when they found the area. I would highly recommend them. I wish he did more than insulation because he would be my go-to guy for all house related needs.

Where should I start? I’m going to try my best to be short, sweet and to the point. However, to express my sincere appreciation, I do have to be a bit more detailed. I was looking for someone to do the insulation for my attic and I was very nervous because this stuff is very new to me. I had no idea where to find someone and whether that someone would be good. I live on the top floor of a private house in Bensonhurst and the apartment is always cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I was nervous because I’d hate to hire the wrong person who could mess up the entire attic. (Shhh - knock on wood). I spoke to a few people who didn’t get me anywhere before I found Go Go Green Insulation from Angies List. My wife and I were so impressed with Mr. Devon Johnson at our initial face-to-face meeting that we decided to go with him (the owner) over the other estimates we received. He was punctual - both for the initial meeting and the day of the actual work. He showed up at exactly 9 am (the time he promised us) in front of my house. The work that Mr. Johnson did deserves an A+++. I wish Angies List has this option so that I could rate him as such. His price was extremely reasonable and he’s conscientious about his work. His years of experience definitely showed. He’s very efficient from preparation to completion of the job. He arrived at 9am and finished at 4pm. He took his time and filled every little corner/space in the attic - very through and never rushed through. For context, the attic is approximately 850 square feet and he insulated with 16 inches of cellulose insulation. He is more than willing to explain everything to you should you have any questions related to the work. When it comes to this kind of work, you’d definitely want someone with knowledge and Devon has it. Wouldn’t you want to deal with someone who’s reliable, trustworthy and treats you with respect, too? Mr. Johnson is truly all of the above. His brother was also there to assist and he was just as pleasant and helpful. It was a totally pleasant experience. Thank you, Mr. Johnson! Devon and Gavin did a great job to add insulation in a crawl attic. They were careful with all details, they managed to cut only small plywood to squeeze in the small attic. They were mindful of the details for a side cantilever. Devon was reasonable on the price, I will hire him again for more insulation jobs.

Efficient work a a great price.

Devon is a pro. Arrived on time for the estimate and had an IR scan tool to see exactly where the work was needed. This is something none of the others came with so right away I knew he cared about his work. On the day, he arrived on time, protected the rest of the living room, and got right to work. He's very thorough and his partner was equally adept and attentive. Job took about 4 hrs and they cleaned up after themselves and showed me what I needed to do to finish the painting and finishing. Overall I'm very satisfied and will only call him for anything else I discover my home will need. Devon should be anyone's first call. I doubt you'll need a second or third call. Thanks Devon for giving me back my living room.

Workers were punctual, the length if time of the job was within the time advised, and the area was left clean. I only had to paint. The heat rentention was much better after the insulation was done.

The best decision I made was to hire Go Go Green for insulation installation. Devon was a professional. All challenges encountered were handled professionally. It took three days to completely insulate the house. Before leaving each day all debris was completely cleaned. I highly recommend Go Go Green!!!!!
