They haven't done anything. They took our money and left and we haven't heard anything since. Since May 29th we have been waiting for a response after signing the contract for their work. We have been calling and speaking to a secretary but each time she just takes a message.

It went very well.  They were on time and the work was done right.

I don't believe that there were any additional charges beyond the big deal amount. They were fine. They came fairly right away. They were here punctually.

The whole time he was about getting paid and I told him that he would get paid. He started saying that if there is damage to the wood its going to be more. I told him it was an insurance claim. He charged me 24k on the roof. He did a good job on the roof but the gutter on the side ripped from a storm. I have been calling him to come fix the job but no response. I leave messages and no response.

<br />We were frustrated by the time it took for knj to complete our project and communication on that timeline could have been better. The deck however, does look beautiful and they clearly understood how to fix a complicated 130 year old support column. We still have one small leak, but they have promised to fix that ASAP.

The vendor was good.   We had some issues with missed appointments,  but once that was settled his workers did a fine job.   There was an issue after the work was completed, where they made black markings on my siding from throwing down the old roof tiles.   They had to return 2 times to my house to power wash the siding to my satisfaction.   But they resolved the issue and cleaned off the marks. <br />

I was not very impressed with them. He was very slow to respond to the offer. It took us a while to get him out to look at the kitchen. Then it took quite a while to get plans and then ultimately, he never followed up with us on pricing. So it just seemed like if I wanted him to do something, I had to chase him. He wasn't working on it very hard. They all went okay but not very quickly.

i am writing to say that I am truly amazed with the way Anthony at KNJ handled my entire roof project from start to finish.  First of all, I was impressed by the way he got involved with my insurance compay for me and spoke on our behalf to get the maximum dollar amount to replace the roof.  When they showed up to start the job, I was equally impressed with the crew that showed up.  From protecting my grounds around the house, to the neat professional installation they did, I can't say enough about how happy my wife and I are.  I had problems with contractors before, so I feel it is worth telling everyone what a pleasure it is when you hook up with a good one! <br />

We are completely satisfied of the work performed by Go Green/KNJ Contracting from start to finished.  The dumbster was hit the curb at 7 am and the team started at the door at 8 am as promised.  The team was professional.  They worked cautiously and quickly. The team clean up the debris as there was nothing done at all.  The team respect the property, there was no mess left and no damages to my property.  We would definitely recommend Go Green/KNJ Contracting to our friends/family. <br />

anthony came for estimate, was professional and gave a full contract  and explained in detail how my roof was going to be installed. and what type of roof i would be getting <br /> we booked the job a few weeks later due to weather.. <br /> the team was on time, awesome.  professional, neat, and worked quickly    The ladders hit th roof at 8 am by 3 pm they wre down and cleaned up as if there was nothing done at all. <br /> there was   no mess left and no damage to my home or property   They respected my home and property...    <br />   i am very impressed!! <br /> The quality of the work is top knotch...on a scale of 1-10   we give it a  100+++ <br />   my husband and i are so happy.. <br /> i would definitely recommend him ad use them again!!!! <br /> thank you Anthony and your team <br /> <br />

Had damage from a hurricane.  They came very quickly, covered the area on my roof with a tarp and even met with the insurance adjuster when he was here.  They did a very nice job, cleaned up everything and eveyone did just what was expected.  I was very satisfied with their work. <br />

Overall the experienc was painless and I love my new windows. <br />

I was explained the Metacrylics Roofing very well when the order was taken. After taking 50% deposit ,  the starting of the workf was delayed and I had to be after them.  Antony , Owner responded to me very  responsibly with total ownership and completed the roof with his personal supervision. The roof done in Dec 2011 passed through  many rains including the Sandy in 2012 without any major issue. <br />

This experience has been a complete disaster.  I opted for a simple "L" shaped <br /> kitchen design.  But Go Green got the wrong.  Also, the main <br /> corner base cabinet (which is really the cornerstone in any kitchen lay-out <br /> turned out to be 4" wider than the one shown in the plans.  I bent over backwards trying to help them <br /> redesign the kitchen so that everything would fit.  I sacrificed using a dishwasher which I owned <br /> and figured out a way that they would only have to exchange two cabinets. They <br /> initially agreed to exchange the cabinets but then stopped returning phone <br /> calls completely.  Now I'm stuck with $3000 worth of cabinets which don't fit in the space. The cabinets seemed like <br /> decent quality and I like to try to deal with local merchants.  Don't get pulled-in: avoid Go Green like the <br /> plague. <br />

<strong>June 2013 Update </strong>- Since Jan 2013, we noticed leaks again where the roofing material meets a short wall on the roof.  In March, after several failed attempts to schedule an appointment, 2 Go Green roofers visited, surveyed the roof, showed us photos, and added more acrylic gel to the problem areas.  However, we still have leaks.  My husband has tried several times to schedule an appointment, but their office manager claims she either doesn't know Anthony's schedule, and we have to call him directly.  However, he never calls back, even when we do reach him.  I wish we'd had a better experience.  Please think twice before using this company. <br /> <br /> <strong>Original Review</strong> <br /> We received 3 bids, including 2 from Angie's List.  Of the other two, one was a large company, accustomed to big home remodeling jobs, with a high estimate.  The non-Angie's List contractor was a friend's referral, who answered many questions with "I'll take care of it. Don't worry about it", even when he had no expertise on the matter. We chose Go Green because they treated us with respect, offered a fair price, and use green building materials. Even after choosing them, when we asked their perspective on future improvement projects and in what order to schedule them, John and Anthony provided fair, unbiased advice. <br /> To create the estimate, John came to our house on a Saturday morning, reviewed our roof, and offered a verbal estimate.  Shortly thereafter, Anthony provided a written estimate.  Also, Anthony provided 2 customer referrals, including one fellow who's job started slow, but ended well after Anthony stepped in.  Though Anthony may not have expected this fellow to tell a story w/pros and cons, when I told Anthony, he gave his fair and honest view on how the job went, acknowledged the challenges on his team, and ensured me that the team member who struggled on the project is no longer part of the company.  Further, Anthony impressed me by promising that he or Tony would personally visit the site daily (which was a learning experience from that previous job). <br /> After we selected Go Green, and updated the estimate to include the skylight, it took another 4-6 weeks to schedule a start date, due to rain and waiting for materials.  (Meanwhile, I voluntarily researched the permits needed, and Anthony secured them.)  This was a long time to wait, and I rarely heard from Anthony w/materials or scheduling updates,  which made me nervous.  It would have been nice if his office had kept in touch, because it felt like my responsibility to call them. <br /> Finally, we scheduled the job, and Anthony estimated 3-4 days (we have a small roof ~20x80).  Before starting, Anthony climbed and reviewed the roof again, and suggested passive turrets to keep the attic cool (which was a great idea). His team didn't request access to the house, only to an outside faucet to clean up.  On the first day, my husband stayed home from work and reported that John arrived with the team at 9, then they worked until 3, then cleaned  up and left.  Every day they left everything tidy, and they finished on Day 4, like Anthony estimated.  Afterwards, Anthony said they'd found 1-2 bottles in our roof drain, and removed them for us, which was very considerate. <br /> Since then we've had several storms, and the house is dry.  Also, our new roof reflects up to 80% of heat, so it's much cooler upstairs.  We had a great experience with Go Green and Anthony Barbagallo, and we would recommend them. <br /> <br />

They were quick and efficient. The price was mid range. I would recommend them.

Anthony was polite, professional, and calm. He went up on the roof, explained what he saw, inspected my rotting door, and looked over 3 other minor issues I had questions/concerns about. He listened to my concerns and shared with me his knowledge and guidance for the minor things. When we sat down to discuss the necessary repairs to the roof and door he offered me options and suggestions with approx costs. I never once felt rushed or pushed into any decision. The door was an odd size so it had to be special ordered. About 15 days later Anthony called and requested to send his crew to my house the next day. They arrived between 9/930 am and finished the same day. They cleaned up debris and left behind a job well done. The new metal door looked great! It was straight, sealed, secure, and operated smoothly. The roof looked complete and there was no debris left behind. I will definitely be calling Anthony again when I am ready to move onto other projects.

Another contractor started our kitchen remodel but quit part way through. We called this company and Anthony came right out and gave us a quote. It was a bit more than we had hoped to spend, but Anthony seemed knowledgeable and we had enough of trying to save money by hiring people who said they knew what they were doing. We wanted to get the job done right. Well, you get what you pay for. He and his crew were prompt, polite, and did an excellent job. They had to pull out the new cabinets, level the floor and reinstall the cabinets. They also lowered the top cabinets and added crown molding. For the countertop, Anthony's contact came in below our other bids and did a great job. One more thing: His crew is polite and very neat. They covered our wood floors and porch with a moving quilt to protect them while they worked. We will definitely use these guys again. We would have saved money if we went with Go Green from the start.

I had to make a complaint in order to get them to come and send me the write-up.  I had to keep emailing them to get the write-up.  They were timely with making the appointment, but not timely with the follow-up.  He was very professional and courteous, and seemed to have a lot of knowledge for doing home renovations and remodels.

The person’s name is John Petsche. In two days they were done, and they did an excellent job. I got the information from Angie’s List, and they sent me the name of the company by mail. I had called about three different contractors, and their price was competitive. I would recommend them to friends and family members.

I met with Anthony Barbagallo at the time we agreed and we discussed the work that was to be performed. He was very professional and explained the details of the work. Also Anthony was able to recommend based on the particular needs of the roof he was to repair solutions that were creative and sensible. He was available for questions and allowed for upgrades in material without asking for additional money. Finally, Anthony was trustworthy and provided me with interest free financing  that really was connivence  for me. The job was done as he said it would be and i am satisfied.  The only issue i had was it took some time to have my gutter covers installed but i wasn't concerned,when i called he took care of the covers immediately.

The project was flawless from start to finish. <br /> <br />
