Great team player s who get the job done , satisfied customer

I came to this project knowing solar is a commitment. I knew I will be stuck with whoever I pick for a long time and that I will have to hope they are easy to work in the long run. Oliver and the team at Helios Solar proved to be just that and I want to take the time and illustrate what you can expect when you call them over for an inspection: Firstly, it is important to note they were not my first bid. I came to their inspection with prior knowledge (talking to others + personal research) which was helpful in guiding the conversation in the right direction. When Oliver came over, he took the time to explain how solar works and how it will save me tens of thousands in the future, and, with their great reputation factored in we set up an appointment for installation. Permits and onsite inspection were next, and they were handled directly through their office. I was told I did not need to be there for the inspection process and that they will take care of everything, which turned out to almost be the case (they had a question about the main meter which required some input but otherwise nothing major). Install day was next and began right at 8 AM with Jose and Luis coming to set up camp outside my house and got to work almost immediately. The whole installation took 1 day and was completely hiccup-free. They were extremely nice and were able to answer some of the questions I had for them. After it was all done, we just had to wait for the final inspection and connection by LADWP and we started enjoying free electricity. All in all the project was hassle-free with a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Helios even installed new insulation at the house after they finished to squeeze as much efficiency out of the panels as possible - and best of all There is a rebate for insulation in la county. So we basically ended up paying nothing out of pocket for the upgrade and have a more efficient solar system. Great advice, great service, and a great experience. Very happy I went with Helios.
