The tile repair project turned out to be more extensive than we had first thought. Cliff provided some good recommendations, was very flexible & responsive. He honored our original estimate even though the repair did take longer, and the end result was great, quality work and looks great. We would highly recommend him

Mr. Fleming is very professional and diligent in his work. He arrived on time and worked hard for 2.5 days to complete the work well. He explained the options upfront, was flexible in helping decide what did and did not need to be done and patient in reviewing color options for the right grouting color to blend with the tiles. He takes pride in completing his work to a high standard, and is always pleasant and courteous. I would be very happy to use his services again and to recommend him.
The tile in bathroom shower had a thick coating (scum) on the bottom that I was unable to remove. Also some of the tiles were cracked and needed new grout placed between them. He removed several of the tiles on the floor along the seam where water had gotten beneath and did necessary repair. He was meticulous with the quality of his work and did not take breaks. He was punctual and very responsive to any questions or suggestions. He also applied grout along the back of my kitchen counter where it had loosened and where it met the backsplash. He worked nonstop for a day and a half and charged only $375.00 for the shower restoration (looks like a new shower) and $40.00 for the kitchen work. He was aIways professional and I definitely would use him again in the future.
The workman was Cliff Fleming, who did what at first seemed a pretty good job in the shower in the master bath and hall bathtub surround, except he did not clean up all of the excess grout in the shower and from around the sink, which he used for clean up. If I had not noticed it and cleaned it up immediately, it would have dried and been very difficult to remove from the corian countertop and mirrors. He said the price was $20 more than he had quoted, but there was nothing written down, so I gave him the extra $20. He seemed in a hurry to leave when I came into the bathroom and started to clean up the excess grout. The next day I noticed a space where there was no new grout between 2 sets of joining tile in the tub surround in the hall bathroom. This was below the shower head next to the spigot. This was one spot I particularly wanted to have grouted because of water possibly getting into the space. The following day I showered in the master bath and cleaned up two globs of grout on two of the floor tiles. When the grout was wiped off, there are now slice like gouges in two of the floor tile that appeared to have been made by some type of saw. I called the number of the card he left with me and left a message to call, but got no response. A couple of weeks later I sent an e-mail message to request a phone call, but have heard nothing. I was very disappointed in the lack of response and no follow up to my request for a call.

Cliff is a sole operator, and as such, he takes great care in his work and how he conducts himself. First, Cliff went out of his way to communicate with both myself and my wife, even calling my wife to let her know that he had connected with me and therefore she didn?t have to follow up with another call.

When he came out to look at correcting the color of the grout (the other company had left it far too white ? see my other reviews), he once again took his time and mixed several solutions to give us options. We went back and forth between, ?Can you make it just a bit grayer?? etc., and he patiently went through several variations until we found one that was just right. His bid of $370 was less than the $450 bid we received from another company, so we went with Cliff.

Cliff came the next week as he said he would and even called several days prior to confirm. He arrived on time, and was exceptionally neat with his tools and supplies in our master bathroom. He brought a drop cloth and laid everything out in an very orderly fashion. Cliff worked meticulously to match the color sample from the week before, and the job turned out amazingly well.

We not only recommend Cliff, but will use him for other things he does, like hard surface cleaning & restoration, natural stone polishing & sealing, etc. If you need custom tile work or grout work done, Cliff is your man.

cliff really takes his time. He measures carefully to make the best use of the tiles. He took longer than expected to complete the job but the tile work is beautiful. His attention to detail really shows. We are very pleased and felt he charged a reasonable price and delivered quality workmanship.
Cliff arrived on time and started the work on schedule. His competence and professionalism was amazing! He successfully removed several broken tiles and the deco-band without damaging any other tiles. The job took two and a half days. The job also included a chemical cleaning of the tile and grout. When he left, the new deco-band, the replaced tiles and the rest of the re-grouted tiles were simply beautiful!
You will simply never find a better person to repair or re-grout your tile. And on top of that, Cliff is a very nice person! When he left, I felt that we had made a new friend. So, my thanks goes to Cliff of GoldShield...
Cliff Fleming was very professional, very responsive, and conscientious about all the work that he did for us. He used a drop cloth for a hose/vacuum that went from our outdoor faucet through the house. He cleaned and scraped and removed mold in our master bathroom grout. He removed a cracked tile and cut a new piece to replace it. He re-grouted and re-caulked (silicone) and then sealed the grout. The ONLY thing I can think of that wasn't an A+ is that he showed up for the job about 20 minutes after I expected him, so I was initially wondering if he would show up. But he worked all day, slowly and methodically and did a fantastic job. I thought he was very affordable and if or when I need to hire someone for additional grout work I wouldn't hesitate to call Cliff again.

Cliff from Gold Shield arrived on time and completed the job in the estimated time frame. He sealed all of the granite, tile, and grout in our new home. Cliff was courteous, respectful, and professional - he was very neat, made no mess, and kept his tools and supplies neatly organized in a defined area. He was very thorough, took his time, and applied multiple coats of sealant to make sure the job was completed correctly.
