DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Horrible experience, they were late, did not provide the number of movers as promised, two instead of three. Owner told me that the third employee would show up at my house to help after he supposedly returned a broken truck (at this point owner said he would give me a 15% discount because he would be late). They did not wrap furniture as needed, scratches and gouges on most furniture (some furniture was new, had absolutely no damage prior to move). The first two movers dropped a 4' x 4' Liberty safe and put a hole in the wall (owner told them to leave it on second floor, as other movers would take care of moving the safe). Had to make a second trip back to the original residence to get the safe (now my time is being wasted because of their incompetence) the first two movers that dropped the safe and put a hole in the wall (not the right people to move, no third person). Talked to owner and was given a further discount (because the third mover never showed up at all and I had to go back to my original residence). At this point it is a two hundred dollar discount based on the third mover not showing up and another trip back to my original residence; however, there is still the damage to my furniture and a hole in the wall (Owner never offered further discount due to damaged furniture and having to use my time to get the wall fixed, caused by their shoddy moving practices). Owner says one of "His" guys is going to fix my wall (Note: move was on Saturday and I have to be out of the house by Sunday at midnight). Told owner it had to be fixed on Sunday not Monday as he wanted, he said they would contact me with a time to go back once again to my original house. Got a text message Saturday evening that said they would be at the house around 12:00 pm. I went over to the house and arrived just prior to 12:00 (11:50 am) at 12:00 I receive a text from his worker saying he will not be there until 2:00 pm and I got mad for wasting more of my time and being inconsiderate to me by not notifying me earlier. Texted the worker and called the owner, neither cared about my time and said it will be 2:00 pm so I said forget it and was called an A..hole at by employee (also accused of not emptying the safe (NOT TRUE) a Liberty safe weighs allot because it is a good safe) so I cussed back at employee and owner. This is an example of allot of very good ratings for a company that deserves an "F" all around. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

It went fantastically. I contacted Goldstar on short notice after another company left me in the lurch. My mom was at the house because I'd had to leave for work, and she said that the crew that arrived was professional, quick, and just all around excellent. Thanks so much, Goldstar!

They were super professional! They were even kind enough to move an unexpected couch and loveseat for me. They were extremely friendly and on time. Perfect moving company!

They showed up close to an hour late but we're apologetic for the delay. Their truck had broke down so the showed up with a uhaul. They did a great job otherwise and would call them again.

Two of the most professional people, kind, polite, helpful and did an excellent job and I would hire the two again. I messed up and under estimated how much I had and needed a bigger truck, no problem they went and got a bigger truck and never did I heard one complaints out of the guys or the owner. After having tried to plan for this project for the past 6 months, and already having been pretty much set on this company, thanks to other reviews here on , we researched again here on Angie's List and were finally able to follow through. The team was extremely prompt and amazing, even getting ahold of us as soon as we posted a request. Having tried to do this myself last time with a few friends, I can honestly say this was money well spent! The truck alone last time cost almost what having this done with wonderful, fast guys made this a value and a pleasure! There was even great follow up at the end of the day!

I decided to hire Gold Star Movers seeing the great reviews they have on Angies List but my experience turned out to be anything BUT pleasant and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They are often on the phone making personal phone calls on your time and dime. I had to step in and do 40 percent of the work and still turn around and pay for the total time they were out there. They have a small truck which was a hair away of not being able to fit all my things. They do not wrap valuables like TV's even if you ask them to. 1. I set my appointment for 12pm and the movers Deshawn and Joe didnt show up until 6:15pm. Mind you, this is after they called me at 4pm to tell me they were 30 minutes out. 2. Upon the movers arriving, we did a detailed walk through of what items were to be taken (everything except the couch). simple. 3. After 2 hours, moving 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom,they told me they were gonna grab my tv and they were just about done and ready to go to my new apartment. I make one last round of the apartment to notice a whole bunch of stuff that were still left behind that I told them to grab. All my packed up bathroom stuff and boxes of clothes were still where I left it and time wasn't really on my side being that they showed up so late; so i stepped in to help them get everything on the truck in a timely fashion. 4. Deshawn and Joe came in 2 separate vehicles, and when we arrived at my new place to start unloading the truck, there was only one mover, leaving me to once again step in and help unload the truck and bring all the stuff into my new place. 5. 30 minutes later, after I got everything off the truck, the second person from earlier shows up saying he went to the wrong address. I get it, things happen , but it did add to unsatisfactory performance I had been receiving all day. Overall I am very displeased with the service that I got with GOLDSTAR MOVERS, I wouldn't use this company again and I wouldn't recommend them for anyone. If you decide to go with them, make sure you have all day and night and you have enough money to pay them to watch you do 40 percent of the work.

They were very professional and organized. They arrived on time, they disassembled and reassembled my furniture perfectly. I had some heavy wooden pieces and they took great care with them. Would hire again to help with any move.
