Gonzales Landscaping

Andres showed up early for every meeting, provided an accurate estimate for each project and completed everything on time, always leaving the site clean and free of debris. His design suggestions improved our plan. His knowledge of plant material best suited to our southern New Mexico climate helped us succeed in getting the best result for our yard. His team kept us informed when they had questions or concerns.

Gonzales Landscaping did an excellent job installing new valves for my sprinkler system. Andres showed up on time to give me an estimate and also on the day of the project. They also did a good job cleaning up. I feel the price for this project was very reasonable. Today they came out and worked on a leaking sprinkler. I will be hiring them for more projects I need done.

All went very well. Mr. Gonzales gets done what he says he will do and it is done in a timely manner. Any trash or cuttings are removed from property. My neighbors all admire the looks of my property. Mr. Gonzales and his crew are the ones who did all the work.

The job turned out excellent! Andres was informative and patient with someone who was not familiar with xeriscaping or southwest plants. He was also a good troubleshooter along with designing. Nellie in the office was welcoming and responsive. Any delay (minor and primarily due to weather) was communicated. The crew was great. The project involved clearing the backyard to the dirt and rebuilding, including new slab patio (with stamping). Front yard plants were also trimmed for a polished look.

???????? ??????????? ??? ??????? Be sure to get a contract, pay the extra bucks in taxes. I learned my mistake. Guy said he can install synthetic grass and promised that I wouldn't be able to tell there are two pieces. $5500 installed. Prep work took about a week, which was the majority of the labor due to moving dirt by hand/ wheelbarrow. Had root/stump that took sometime for them to remove, said he can dump Roundup on it, thinking that will prevent chutes from growing through the crush fine gravel I asked will it grow through the turf in 1-5 years he didn't know. Charged extra $100 to remove the root, which should of been included in the prep. Ordered the grass took about a week, but apparently when the pieces came in, 2 different grass blade lengths. Of course they laid out the correct one out sitting in the sun and I was told I had to wait another week for the correct one to come from Albuquerque. Then the supposed correct one came and this is the result. Looks like a different shade and or not installed properly. Overall, the son did not keep his word on deadlines he's promised and was very unprofessional. Overall completion of job was lousy.

Excellent. Lots of big Prickly Pear and Cholla to get rid of. Hard worker took 3 days to trim and begin removal. Finished with a Bobcat. I've had Mr. G do numerous jobs and have always been satisfied.

Was here next day after scheduling, Prompt, Professional, friendly, and job was done quick and quality. I have used them before on another project and was impressed that they are my go to lawn people when I have any project from planting to irrigation. 2 thumbs up here.

Mr. Gonzales's team is wonderful. Sometimes there were 2, sometimes 3, 4, maybe even 5 men working at a time. They worked hard for 2-1/2 days. They were friendly and I enjoyed having them. I miss them already. I love the outcome. Everything is done as Mr. Gonzales recommended and to which I agreed. I will never use a non-professional for yard maintenance again.

Once again Mr. Gonzales's crew did a magnificent job. They pruned the trees and crepe myrtle and removed all stray leaves on the branches, shaped all the shrubs and bushes, removed all debris, redestributed the gravel and even cleaned the weeds out of the driveway. My yard now looks manicured. They always do an excellent job. Thank you Mr. Gonzales!

Let me start by saying I was well-respected landscape designer with my own crew in Los Angeles before moving to Las Cruces. I hired “Mr. G” based on his great reviews here, although he seemed a little flighty to me. He was not on hand while work was done. Only came speedily to pick up his checks. Crew left place messy. Didn’t fulfill the bid. Only 2” of dirt was removed and when my husband and I called him out on it, he mumbled ridiculous excuses. Didn’t hire him for the next phase of the work because he did such a shoddy job on the first part. Before hiring him, I urge people to check out his reviews beyond Angie’s List. Here is a king, which is suspect because google and yelp reviews tell a completely different story.

The project went great! I could not be more pleased with the results; and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

Fantastic. The crew showed up on time and worked hard for 4 days. They were extremely professional, they did everything they promised and more, and in the end, the irrigation system turned out to be great. It was not an easy project because the home had a older system that was a mess. I will hire this company the next time I need ANY landscaping work.

Those Gonzales men worked hard, it was a big job but they were quick and left the place looking good. I had no idea the area would look so good. I am very pleased with their work. Nice guys to have around. I forgot 2 things when I went out shopping when they were here, and I had great cooperation getting out of the drive way despite their two trucks. I have already hired them for the next job.

I have a large back yard. Everything was done expertly and timely. Came back in a few months To add one more sprinkler. Without question I would hire again.

First of all, please note that I never give any company an A. I would rate Gonzales Landscaping a B+. From the very beginning to calling the company and scheduling an appointment to give me an quote to finishing the job, the company was quick to respond. I was anxious to have the cactus, etc. removed as I have two large dogs that I didn't want tangling with the cactus. Gonzales Landscaping was about two weeks out before performing the work at my home. Mr. Gonzales said that he would try and work me in between that two week time frame. He knew what a hurry I was in and accommodated me in getting the work done within a week of scheduling me. The crew was very friendly and professional and wanted to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the work that was done. I would definitely recommend Gonzales Landscaping.
