Error on my part, I hit the wrong response. Goode Fence is an awesome company to deal with. They were professional and courteous. They arrived on time and had the fantastic job done by noon. David addressed all concerns immediately. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

This was one of the worst experiences in customer service I've ever had. I had use them before a few years ago on another property and the first time was great. This time I wanted them to do a demolition and reinstall. It started off well enough even though the job took a long time to start because of covid and material acquisition and during this time there was no communication. The day of the job finally came. I had a small shed near the fence line and the person doing the job told me it had to be removed before the new fence could be reinstalled or they could not do it. I could not be without a fence so I had to personally physically do it. During this whole ordeal I felt like the technician was trying to physically intimidate me, staring me down etc. Once I knocked down my own shed on the spur of the moment they completed the fence. I ran an errand for just a moment and came back to find them gone. They did not think enough to tell me the job was done and then I found out why. The fence was being put on top of a small retaining wall and they destroyed parts of the retaining wall without fixing it. This left a good sized gap under the fence and was an eye sore. The shed nor the retaining wall were addressed in the original quote and I wanted them to fix the retaining wall or I would not pay because it's not a fence if it doesn't keep things out or in. They were bad about returning calls or emails. They would schedule things without telling you. The owner told me she was coming to look at it but never showed. Then she came without saying when expecting me to wait at home for her. Finally they went to someone at my job threatening to make a complaint against me if I did not pay which is akin to extortion. All this being said all I wanted was a fence that looked good and functioned and I did not even get that. Listen to my tale and use someone else.

ATTENTION: these scammers are probably about to file for bankruptcy. If they owe you money: hurry up! - Hired them for a simple fencing job. - Sheila Dickinson took wrong measurements. - Tiffany Beach didn't know which paperwork to submit for the permit. - They installed the fence without obtaining a permit I paid for - They had to remove the fence - Frank Sicilia and Danielle Giordano bullshitted me for months and I had to hire a lawyer to get my money back. - Turned out that Frank Sicilia "worked" for two other companies who "filed for bankruptcy" If you are an employer, do not hire these people. If you need a fence, do not give them your business. If they owe you money, hurry up.

It all began when the installer brought a 6 foot gate with is taller than the fence. We had them install in the front entrance with the agreement that they would remove it if it was not acceptable. WE had also asked for a better quality latch for the front. Did not supply one. The gate looked horrible in the front and the entire fence was crooked. WE asked to have it removed and they were going to bring to the shop and shorten it and install mesh to keep our property secure. When the installer came, he insisted on swapping the back gate that was 5 foot tall with the 5 ft tall gate. While that looks "okay" in the back, They installer tore up a concrete threshhold because he had to correct an error he made in the angle of the fence that did not allow the gate to lock. He then put the older gate up front. What he failed to tell us was that he had drilled a total of 37 holes in the gate. 8 of the holes were covered with hardward. He plugged up some additional holes with screws and left 13 UNFILLED HOLES. As I tried to work with the installer, he got annoyed and stated he had been here 3 times already. I said I was sorry, but if he needs to come back again to fix this, That would need to be done. He said it was not my fault. He said that since the company was sold it was not the same to work for and blamed the office and the salesman for the entire issue. When I questioned the unevenness, He told me he had no time to teach me physics. I went inside, he left. Frank, the comptroller told me he would come back on Tuesday after the holiday to fill holes. On Wednesday, he asked me to make a full payment. I told him that the installer never returned to fill the holes. I was set an email blaming me for the entire situation and that I caused the damage when I asked to rectify the situation. I was threatened with a collection attorney and asked if I really wanted to have my credit impacted. He said they would NOT be returning to my home and I needed to pay. He kept threatening a collections activity. We ended up pay a slightly less amount due to these threats. I now need to find a PROFESSIONAL fencing company to replace this gate and fix the fence pitch and the destroyed concrete threshhold.

They had to come 3 times. On the last visit, the installer had to move a post and that resulted in him tearing up a concrete threshold. The installer was unpleasant about having to be back. The gate they moved is basically destroyed There are 10 visible holes in it and its crooked This gate faces the street.

We had a new in ground pool installed. Existing fence did not meet code guidelines. A compliant design was designed interactively on site. Selection of materials confirmed in their store. It took several weeks to get materials which were ordered. Installation required coring holes into a concrete slab in some places. The work crew did a great job and was friendly and courteous. When the fence did not pass initial inspection (there was more than 2" under the fence in some areas, though why this needs to be this low since the other spaces allowed are 4" no one can explain)) Goode met with code inspector and then came back and lowered the fence. We are pleased with the end result. <br />

Work went as planned.  Did have to schedule because I would only be in town for three days.  They came out, removed the old fence and installed new one.  I did have a couple of problems during installation, but after I called Todd, they were quickly resolved and my new fence looks great.  Will be using them again to do the backyard in the near future. <br />

We had a meeting before the fence was to be installed we picked the fence, with the gates and caps. We were told that this would take no longer that a week after the fence was ordered. The fence came in three weeks latethey did not check the fence to see if it was the right one it came straight to our home. They told us that they looked at it before it came but the driver said they had to transfer it on another truck because their truck broke down. The fence sat in our garage for a week before they came to install it. When they came out guess what it was the wrong fence. A month and a half later a new fence came in but guess what they didn't realize they were supposed to send the gates back with it so they had to get a new gate which took another five weeks. When they put up the new gates the put them up backwords and when they turned the fence around and drilled ten new holes and tried to cover up the old ones with caulking and neither gate lined up one was higher that the other. They had put the wrong caps on instead of what we ordered one of the guys asked me if I had any prescription drugs I could spare because he had a sore arm I informed his supervisor and she said she would replace him and the next day I came to check on them and they had my grill out cooking on it and one of them was sleeping on my hammock.Their were so many mistakes on this fence I just wanted it to be over. I called the owner Todd several times he would not answer my phone calls. I called his assistant and she told she was moving and did not have time for us right now.Now it is about December and are fence was still not finished, that is when I called Angies List. We got a letter from Goode Fencing about a month later and asked us to call them to fix the situation,They came back two weeks later and finished the job. Thank god for Angies List. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

Fabulous. Many neighbors have commented on how nice the fence looks! His crew was quite professional and efficient. It did take a couple of weeks for materials to arrive, but I was made aware of that from the beginning. I would highly recommend CSS Goode for any fencing needs.
