I saw the ad and thought that the deal of 4 hours of drywall repair for $99 was fair and made the purchase.  I called the number to schedule the appointment and left a voicemail. Mike calls back pretty quickly from a different number and says that he needs to come out and see the work to be done first.  I explained that it was very easy...cover a medicine cabinet that we removed and patch a few small holes. Still, he needed to come see it. Fine, whatever. He comes out on Monday and says that it's more than 4 hours worth of work, which is BS. However, I was on a timeline and needed it done so I agreed. I told him that the work HAD to be done sometime that week as I was off that week and would not be available after that week was over. He said no problem and scheduled it for Thursday.  he then called back later and said Monday was the next time available, knowing that I had told him that I was NOT available. So, I took an extra day of vacation to accommodate his schedule. That Monday morning, no one showed up at 9am as agreed upon. I called him and he said that his guy was sick. I told him that he needed to honor his agreement and get someone else out. He said he couldn't control someone being sick and didn't have anyone else. I told him to provide a refund and he said he would just re-schedule and I told him that was fine if he can schedule for a weekend when I am free and he said he couldn't do that. I again stated that a refund was in order. He said fine and hung up.  he then called back about 20 minutes later and said that he was sending someone else out. Great! The dude shows up about an hour or so later, no materials and runs to Lowes to get what he needed (which should have been told to him by Mike).  He does all of the work and says that he'll be back the next day to finish it up, stating that drywall is typically a 2-day job. At this point, I am furious. I called Mike and told him that I was not going to pay the additional $50 and that he would just have to absorb that as his loss for being a bad communicator. of course he didn't like that and kept stating that all of this was MY fault.  This guy is a crook and had he had all of the negative reviews when I needed him, I wouldn't be writing this story. I see that he has had quite a few issues since I have used him so I don't feel bad about shorting him the $50- difference especially since I had to finish the job his guy started. <br />

They painted the entire interior of the house. They finished the job in two days. They did a fine job. The owner of the company called a few times after the service to set up an appointment to use the coupon even though I already had.

The work was fine but we had scheduling problems. They did not arrive the first time it was scheduled but the second day they showed up on time. They sent one person out to do the job. The cleanup was good.

The painters arrived on time and got to work. the were professional the entire time even about retouching prior work that required it. after they left, I noticed that some areas required touch-ups. I tried repeatedly to contact Mike- two phone numbers, email and text.  When he did bother to respond, he promised to come out and address the issue. Just to make sure that he understood there were in fact issues, I photographed the areas that I wanted addressed.  He said he would correct the issue himself after efforts to send of of his crew fell through (it rained and the painter did not want to come even though the job was inside).  I rescheduled. On the date of he was again a no show. When I texted him, he asked who I was as he had lost his phone and had no numbers.  I explained and he again promised to fix the problem. On the date of, same outcome.  I finally just told him not to bother that I would pay someone else to finish the work which I did.   <br /> My first experience with Mike was more pleasant which caused me to rehire him.  Unfortunately, he has poor organizational skills and doesn't fully understand what it means to be a professional and to honor commitments. I would not recommend him or use him again. <br />

Mike was the lead. He had an assistant with him who was less experienced. Mike had to rework some of the efforts of the young man he had with him, but I am OK with someone learning so long as I get what I wanted in the end. I bought the "painter for a day" and all I needed was  my door done. That got done and I am satisfied. <br /> Perhaps if I had a larger agenda for my "day of painting" then the training/rework would have been an isue. Like I said, for me, it was not. And they couldn't have been nicer people. <br />

We would definitely use them again; gave a reasonable price, did what they said they would do, in the time they said they would do it and we were very happy with their work.

The actual 2 painters were very good. They were polite, respectful and did a great job. It was the company's contact Michael Cummings that I had a problem with. I had started painting the atrium but the 14 foot height scared me too much so we bought this painting package thru Angie's List to get the job finished. When Michael arrived to get the guys started he was taken aback because I also wanted the ceiling in the atrium painted. He said that would probably go over the alloted price package time so he needed an extra $50. There was no customer's first attitude and it felt sleezy that he was asking for more money after I paid for the package thru Angie's List before they even came out. <br />

They did a great job. The work was quite detailed, it really came out excellent. I had a crack and some separation in my drywall, you'd never know they were there.

I had taken down everything to the studs, removed old screws, removed and taped electrical outlet/switches, and had everything ready to go. Provider was late showing up for pre-inspection of the job (twice) and even on the day of the job. The provider compensated me for these no-shows by having me pay only for the labor on the additional work that was required. He seemed to genuinely care as to whether or not I was satisfied with the job. If you have no experience with drywall, you should understand that four hours ($99 deal on Angie's List) is not a lot of time if you are looking for a finished job given the inherent drying times for the mud and joint compound. This provider was flexible and went away to work on another job while the coating dried and then came back. Quality was good, certainly better than I could do but not the best I have seen. Bottom line: Drywall work is time consuming and just about an artform. Not sure if I would use them again...really depends on the work I would need done.

The workers did a professional job they were very respectful of my home worked industriously we felt we got a tremendous bargain for the professional job performed.

SLOW workers who took a smoke break every hour. Left paint on the tile. Would not use ever again or recommend!

They were quick to reply after I left a message to set up a time to come by. It was a very good experience. They were very professional and polite. They were here when they said they would be. The only problem I had was that the finish of the drywall they worked on did not match the other walls but they did come back and correct this.

It went absolutely well. He said that the laundry room was the $99 gig with Angie’s List and he said these other things will cost. He gave me prices on all of them and I took what I wanted. These guys did a great job. They did the master bedroom, the master bath and the two rooms I had left. They got it down and painted it virtually in a day. They came back the next day to do a little touchup but they had virtually got it done. I was very pleased with that one. A couple of good guys came in and got it done. They were great. They really were. They were top notch.
