I spoke with Dave on the phone, and he sent Shawn out to inspect. Both were courteous and professional. Shawn listened carefully to my description of the problem odor and when it happened. He checked walls for moisture and other indications of possible mold. Although he did not think there was mold based on his examination, I opted for air samples to make sure. The initial evaluation was free - cost was for the air samples and analysis. Analysis of the samples in the lab showed that there was not a mold problem. Shawn helped me troubleshoot for other possible sources of the problem.

I contacted Dave and informed him of the need for mold remediation at my home. He had someone come out quickly to ***** the mold and provided me development of an estimate. We had an another assessment before Dave, and I was very impressed not only with GotMoldUSA estimate but their knowledge. Dave explained the mold remediation process in detail. Rest assured that GotMoldUSA will complete the job, are well trained, and are affiliated with a national company. They started the job quickly, but due to setbacks with shutting off the water (we waited for our personal plumber) the job was delayed. Once the issue was addressed, they were there the next day resuming the job. During this process, I was out of town and yet they were very responsive and fast working. Most impressively, some of the estimated work did not need to be done and Dave was honest about it and adjusted the final invoice accordingly! Having water damage and mold is very overwhelming and stressful. Dave and his company made the process manageable and essentially handled the situation for me. I highly recommend working with Dave and GotMold USA and will hire them again if the situation ever arises.

No moisture was found. We were advised that an air sample test could be done but based on today's findings it did not seem necessary. We appreciate the fast response and highly recommend this company.

I provided the labor to do the cleanup and it took about 2 weeks to get the job done. The process enabled the house to be completely mold safe and passed the testing the 1st time. The job was so large that Dave wasn't sure if we would pass the 1st test. We did pass because we followed Dave's advice to the letter and his on site technician made sure we clean the mold correctly. I would highly recommend him to anyone that I know!!!

Shawn is exceptional - professional, punctual, and goes above and beyond expectations. He assessed the mushroom growth situation in our tenant's bathroom and clearly explained how it occurred. He advised action steps going forward to mitigate the problem so it does not occur again. He also offered to speak to the tenant about what was occurring. Cleaning was fine, but the front office seems disorganized. They called me for payment when I gave a check already to the service provider. Also, they were to come back out to fix a few spots that re-appeared, they never showed up again?. I didn't call about it? just let it go. <br />

Not great! They only sent one man who flew through the rooms in a very short time. I had to remind him to move things to do the whole area. Don't know if he did the 3-step process.

Ok, but not sure house is not mold free yet. I was not present during inspection but I talked to Sean and he assured me there was no real problem with mold. He was very professional and If I need to have place cleaned I would not hesitate to use 911 restoration. <br />

A very professional young man named Daniel went through the areas to be cleaned and gave me an estimate of cost for the work to be done. Daniel then spent a few minutes telling us about the company and his experience cleaning carpets. Daniel treated the stain areas then cleaned the berber carpet in the areas requested. Daniel did an excellent job removing the stains and cleaning the carpet. We were very happy with 911 Restorations service and would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting a thorough and excellent carpet cleaning job done. <br />

Response was very quick, within a few hours of my call. Shawn Fiske ascertained the scope of the work required and patiently explained all aspects of the project. He made sure to address any questions I had. Very professional. <br /> The following business day, work crew Daniel and Nick arrived. They set up their equipment for a 'negative atmosphere' and sealed off the room. They removed the interior walls to a few feet beyond the problem area. They did a thorough, fast and efficient job of removing the contaminated materials. <br /> I had previously expressed that I wanted this project to be confined to the bathroom if at all possible. I didn't want walls of adjacent rooms damaged, our new(er) expensive bathroom window disturbed or our new(er) exterior stucco damaged. I was shocked when Daniel suggested opening up our living room wall to remove the old cast iron bathtub! I told him to break it up in place with a sledge hammer, which he did. <br /> As the project was nearing completion, they decided to spray paint all of the exposed surfaces with a paint primer called 'Killz'. Unfortunately, during a momentary lapse of reason they neglected to mask off my 'Hi-E, double paned thermal break window' before they fired up the spray painter. Approximately 40% of the window and (dark) frame were now painted white! <br /> Upset, I immediately contacted Shawn and provided pictures of the damage. To Shawn's credit, he was immediately very apologetic and pledged to do whatever was necessary to resolve the issue. We initially considered complete window replacement with the corresponding necessary stucco repair. The cost of this solution would come very near, or exceed the cost of the mold removal. Shawn did not hesitate to agree to accepting this obligation, again to his credit. <br /> After a few days cooler heads prevailed. I agreed to permit 911Restoration to at least attempt to remove the paint from the window and frame before we committed to order new. They worked very h****** it and eventually most signs of the damage were gone. The window is not 100% pristine like it was previously but we were able to deem it as acceptable. <br /> The independent spore test was performed and we were given a clean bill of health. <br /> When we were invoiced for this job, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that Shawn had discounted the project by over $500 as compensation for the problems we'd encountered. This was a foolish, neglectful mistake but <em>we all make mistakes sometimes, don't we?</em> To me, this foolish error was far surpassed in importance by the straightforward, polite and professional manner that 911Restoration chose to address the issue at hand. These days people to often try to evade accepting responsibility. <br /> All in all, the experience was as pleasant as black mold removal could hope to be in spite of the peripheral damage. I would not hesitate to trust this firm with a future project. <br />

We discovered in December we had some black mold growing in two areas of our walls and carpet due to roof leaks from the September rains. We researched several companies and called two. We chose 911 Restoration for the project. We had no idea about how this process would work but 911 provided us with detailed information every step of the way. Since they are a national franchise they had specific guidelines to follow and they always let us know what to expect. We worked with Daniel and his crew the whole time from the estimating to the final cleanup. Daniel was very good at keeping us updated and worked hard to get the job done. Needless to say our post mold air test from an independent lab in Virginia came up zero. Without a doubt they are professionals and care about the quality of their work. Workman suggested I work with Insurance company. He stated there was a different price for the work if Insurance paid or if claim was denied. He did not explain why the driers were needed for about a quarter inch water in a small, defined area; no visible water damage (less than baseboard level). He did not answer his cell phone when I called to states Insurance refused claim. I called 911 and did not get a call back until the owner called me more than a month later asking for payment>$900. I stated that no-one had returned my calls, no explanation regarding possible water damage, no info re carpet cleaned(which is all I originally wanted). Owner stated that the workman had left the company just after my job. She was argumentative and unprofessional, refusing to consider my concerns regarding the exorbitant price and the miscommunication/lack of communication regarding the price (one for Insurance one for customer). <br /> I ended up paying what I believe is a huge amount of money for a little water in the bathroom (from outside) and a small 3x3 area of carpet which was wet. <br /> I would not recommend this company to anyone. <br />

"The Member called us because water intruded from her patio into her master bedroom and bath. We responded late in the work day and very quickly to clean the water up. The technician and our operations manager explained that moisture had wicked into her walls. Unfortunately, if the walls were allowed to dry naturally she would likely have had secondary damage...MOLD. She did agree to have the necessary equipment installed to expedite drying. The technician and our operations manager monitored the walls and carpet for the next 3 days using electronic moisture meters and finally removed our equipment when all was dry. Incidentally the equipment was removed over the weekend. It is likely that the technician misquoted the final price. When we realized he did not follow our process it was too late for this member. Our process includes having the client sign a contract soon after the emergency service call. If the call is after hours we bring the contract on our very next visit long before most of our charges have accumulated. In light of this and some other miscues on this technicians part we spent more time during our weekly training reviewing communications with clients and our processes. We added some new checks and balances to avoid this very situation in the future. Unfortunately, the technician was never able to appreciate or execute the necessary written and verbal communications and is no longer on our staff. Our office manager called the member 30 days later when the invoice went 30 days late. In 13 years of doing business I am yet to find the best way to remind a client that they are late paying a debt. Our office manager was surprised to find out the member was not only late but unhappy. So our office manager reviewed the file and discussed it with our operations manager. Then she called the member and agreed to discount her bill 33% or more than $300.00. At that point the member said she was satisfied and the work was done well. I was surprised to find this review but we did take all of the steps available to rectify this situation. Shawn"

They were just fine. We were satisfied with them. I've used them twice and I'd been satisfied with them. They were really professional. The quality of the work was really good. It was fair pricing. They had good and prompt service. He was a very courteous young man, it was the same one both times and he did a good job. We would use him again but we've gotten rid of most of our carpet now.

Cleanup response very fast, thorough. Mother came to Minnesota twice for the two holidays, delaying the final fixes. Subcontractor work required my phone calls to check single billing. I was disappointed in the plumber's leaving the old toilet outside the front of the house, had to ask Allmighty to remove, not once, but several times. I instructed insurance agent on his details, my choice. Excellent final work on the room, especially the new floor. <br />
