Our story began in 1906 when Gus Spitzmiller, a traveling plumber, settled in the Grand Lake area, starting the company in 1920. His son, Gordon, continued the family tradition, and in 1973, Frank Appelhans joined the team. AppelhansToday, the Appelhans family carries on this legacy, providing exceptional plumbing, heating, water treatment, and well water services to Grand County.
