They did an excellent job.

In Aug, we picked out our granite. Installed Sept. 11. They didn't have enough holes drilled for the faucet and they were in the wrong place. They had even picked up the faucet for us at the plumbing store. Came back next day to drill another hole. Our scheduled plumber had to wait for them because they had to go back to their shop to get a part they had forgotten to hook up the disposal. Our plumber couldn't wait any longer and he had to leave. He had to come back on Saturday, with weekend rates. The island's template was not properly measured and/or cut and after installed, the top and bottom angles did not match. Because the holes were wrong and the sink was completely installed crooked (and did not have the "no reveal" we requested), we asked for that portion of granite to be replaced. We selected the replacement stone on Oct. 4. They put us off until the end of Oct. On Oct 29, they came to remove the granite, including our kitchen sink. They were scheduled to come out at 9:30 AM on Oct 31. At noon, no one had called or shown up. I called and Bill (sales manager) said they'd be out within the hour. At 3 PM, no one had shown up. I called Bill AGAIN and he said the installer (who is also VP of the co.) wasn't returning calls and they didn't know where he was. Dan finally called Bill back and said he would be at our house today (Nov. 1)at noon. It's 3 PM and no one has CALLED OR SHOWN UP! This is absolutely ridiculous! We have not had a sink for almost a week. No one is calling us!

The job went well. The countertops fit perfectly and they did a great job of cleaning up after the install. It took us a long time to decide on the piece of granite. They were very patient with us while we decided on the color/pattern.

Bill Brown measured the vanity top area. We then visited Granite Works shop to select granite slab. This job involved an under mount sink which we supplied along with new faucet and connector lines. Granite Works is not required to install faucets/drains, but Bill said he would. The counter was delivered and installed as agreed upon. Tivo (co-owner with Dan Evans) installed the unit. The workmanship is outstanding. We have done business with Granite Works though a kitchen remodeler before and they are a quality company.

It went pretty well overall. They were here right at the scheduled time. Their policy is to call and reschedule if they are late but we didn't have to worry about that. They were kind, courteous, and very clean.

From our first visit to their showroom, it was a pleasure to work with these folks. Very knowledgeable and professional. They have a wide variety of granite from which to choose and gave us several samples to take home. The initial estimate was done on site. Upon selection, they promptly scheduled a visit to take detailed measurements and to set an installation date. On the installation date, they arrived on time, went right to work, and cranked out the job within several hours. I was pleasantly surprised at how thoroughly they cleaned up after the job. My comments here, speak for themselves as a recommendation for their services.

I was very satisfied with their work. Bill, the salesman, is quite a character, but gave a fair quote and Graniteworks won out over 2 other companies I contacted. Dan, one of the company owners, came out to do the final measurements. I felt instantly comfortable with Dan and his expertise in this line of work. He made me feel like there just wasn't going to be any issues or mistakes and that they think through the process very carefully. He referred me to Camristone in Westfield to look at slabs, which was a VERY good suggestion. (As an aside: Use Camristone over the other granite suppliers in Indy -- they are hands down the best for customer service and are so easy to work with. ) Ovi, the other company owner, and his Graniteworks crew came in to do my granite install and did a super job. You could tell they wanted to do it right. They were clean and friendly. And the install only took about 3 hours. The kitchen looks fantastic.

They communicated very well. They were on time. They completed the job in the time frame we were given. The pricing was very good and they did an excellent job.

They knew their product and their business, but getting return phone calls and the actual work scheduled was a bit of a challenge.

Having had to fire the general contractor for various reasons we were faced with a lot of problems including the fact that he had picked out granite that did not match with the kitchen flooring or paint. Even though granite works had already cut the piece of granite the contractor had picked out and had to wait while things were being settled in court, they went on and let us pick out new granite which would work better with our decor.

We initially spoke with Bill the sales rep. He met us on a Sunday at the Granitworks location. We picked out a remnant. He gave us a verbal estimate. At a later time, after our cabinets arrived, they installed the countertop. It was difficult to schedule times with Bill after the initial meeting. Dan Evans, the owner was very accommodating. He traveled to my work place to pick up the sink for cutting purposes. He arranged a very convenient time for us to do the install. Bill called and followed up and apologized for any inconvenience he may have caused. They did a great job cutting and installing the counter. The price was good and they gave us a discount.

The quality of the work was quite good. If it were not for the sales rep, we would definitely consider using GraniteWorks again. But we had a terrible experience with the sales rep. That soured us on the entire project. Almost nothing he told us proved to be accurate. The installers were very good. The countertop and backsplash look impressive. If you use GraniteWorks, have Dan Evans come out and do the measurements and give you the estimate. Dan is a lot more reliable than his sales rep. But also, don't be open-ended about how long you are willing to wait. That was a big mistake on our part.

Took them about two weeks longer to cut the granite than we had been given to expect from the cabinet people. Even though their representative came out and measured twice, when the countertop got to the house it was off by six inches where the sink was supposed to be placed. They did get it recut and installed the next day. They also had to come back and recaulk some of the seams. However, the countertop looks great. We are happy with the results.

We started out w/another vendor and didn't feel comfortable when it came down to doing the work. We immediately called Angie's List and received information on GraniteWorks. We met Bill and it was a done deal. He clearly had more expertise than the 1st vendor, he was able to meet our tight timeline, took very detailed measurements, documented everything for us, gave us his personal opinion and cared very much about the job he was going to do for us. It was clear that he loved what he did and it was reflected in the final product. The cost was lower as well. We felt the pricing was fair and there were no hidden costs. GraniteWorks recommended Dave Hodson Cermaic Tile to do our backsplash. They were great as well. Mark did a great job and came back out to our home during the holidays to touch up minor tile work. Overall, both were were fantastic and we would recommend them over any other vendor.

Very friendly. Upgraded my edge profile at no cost. Low-hassle. They didn't warn me that I needed to have a plumber come connect my faucets so I was in a bit of panic to get my plumbing going. Price was much better than other estimates.

Very professional and respectful. Very responsive to telephone calls. Due to my mistake, they were forced to come back out for a second very small cut on the counter. They respond very quickly and did not charge for the return trip. I would use them any again.

We are extremely pleased with our new countertops. The people at Graniteworks do precision work and are very nice to deal with. We highly recommend them to anyone interested in having granite installed in their home.

Wow! The counter-tops are beautiful! Wish we would have done this years ago! Graniteworks did a great job, very timely and professional and NICE. They took out our old laminate counter-tops and made sure the new granite splash guards were a bit bigger than the old laminate ones so that upon installation there was no drywall damage that had to be repaired or painted. We really appreciated their attention to this detail, one that we hadn't even considered until they mentioned it. Cleaned up well after the job too. We obtained 3 estimates before deciding upon Graniteworks. They were the least expensive of the 3. We received great quality, great service, and a reasonable price, especially for granite.
