This has been a nightmare. The owner Neely Wilford is very hard to deal with. I have been trying to get part of the roof that they put fix, but unfortunately all I get is run arounds and broken promises that he will call me back or that he will send his guys over, but never does. In addition, I have to dealt with his rudeness and not so nice tone which has been very unpleasant to work with. I still waiting for them to come over and fix and it’s almost a month of this. I don’t recommend at all after this horrible experience.

Fantastic experience. It's hard to find a company that does great work, communicates well, cleans up when the job is done and does exactly what they said that they were going to do for the price quoted. Great Built Roofing delivered on all counts. Neely and Gary were both great to work with. They explained what needed to be done and kept me informed at every step. Great Built did a great job replacing my roof after the May '19 hail storm. From the beginning of the process to the end, the owner was involved and kept me informed. Great Built showed up when they said they would... and finished on time. The owner was onsite with his crew the whole time making sure everything kept moving forward. Clean up was well done and the roof and new vents look great. I highly recommend Great Built Roofing!

In Feb 2017 we had Great Built Roofing replace a roof due to hail damage. After their initial visit they were able to do the work in one day. It was a good job and good experience. We are now selling the home and the buyers inspector recommended repairing one area where the drip edge had come loose. It was not a major issue but I was uncertain as how the warranty would be dealt with. Happy to say that Great Built honored the warranty in a timely fashion and was able to advise me on other roofing issues unrelated to their work. I think you will find they produce a good product and are very upfront and honest to work with. I highly recommend their service.

I would recommend Great Built to anyone and would definitely hire them again. I couldn't ask for better customer service. Neely and Gary were very responsive from the beginning and provided great information. They were able to get the work done right away and kept me informed every step of the way. They did a great job with the roof and cleaned everything up perfectly. Gary came back after it was completed to inspect and make sure there were no nails left behind. Everything went so smoothly!

Gary, my sales consultant, answered all of my questions and kept me updated all throughout the process. The price was fair and the quality of work was superior. The workers showed up on a Saturday morning, laid a tarp on the ground around the house.and got right to work. When they finished I found no nails or debris left behind and I had a great looking new roof. I only wish I could have hired them for other work needed on my house.

They seemed to do a great job replacing our roof due to hail damage. It looks great from what we can tell and they were terrific to work with. I met with 3 other companies, and ended up with bids from two of them. This company was far superior to work with from my standpoint. Will Seaman was terrific to deal with on this project. He came out to our house and spent a lot of time to examine what we needed and explain everything from A to Z about a new roof from Great Built. Then he answered all of the questions that I had not only thoroughly but happily and with a great attitude. They provided me with their proof of liability insurance and it was clear from the beginning that I was working with a very dependable and reliable person and company. The entire project went exactly as he said it would, in the same time frame. They did a great job with the clean up as well. I recommend this company highly!

Great experience with Great Built Roofing and Construction who just replaced my entire roof. I met with Will Seaman who was highly professional and very knowledgeable. He was always available by phone or text to answer all my questions that I presented to him and made the process run smoothly. The materials were delivered as scheduled and the entire job was completed the next day. Extremely impressed. Even during the process Will called to recommend a more efficient venting system than originally planned due to the structure of the roof. All of the work crew were friendly and courteous. They did a thorough clean-up too. I also appreciated the final inspection by Will to ensure my complete satisfaction of the job. My neighbors and friends have already complimented me on the look of the new roof. Anyone asking me who replaced my roof, I would definitely recommend Great Built as the company to hire. Our salesman, Will, was very professional and easy to work with. The work was done as scheduled. Crew was very good to clean up. We have a swimming pool close to the house and absolutely NO debris landed in the pool. We are pleased with our roof and recommend Great Built for your roofing job.

Neely is a great guy. He came out to give me an estimate. I told him I wanted the shingles changed to a metal roof after the April 2016 hail storm. I have a 1920's house and it had one roof over another. The rooves had to be taken down to the rafters. He explained the mess from removing the 1920's roof so I would not be surprised. He went over the entire process and materials. He also told me I need better ventilation for the roof and recommended solar vents. It took longer than expected. He came out daily to inspect and found that his crew applied the plywood wrong. He had it completely removed and redone. I would have never known. One day the crew did not show up. He fired them and had a new crew out the next day. Afterwards my yard was a mess but his cleaning team was amazing. Neely came out for a final inspections, did another sweep for nails and agreed to fix the minor details that I wanted. The best part of his service was the constant communication. We had daily calls to fix problems immediately.

I had the most difficult time finding a roofing and general contractor to do the repairs I needed done after "The Great Hail Storm of April 2016". My neighborhood had tons of damage from the hail storm with the baseball-sized hail we had. Every single roof here was totaled and needed replacement. After trying unsuccessfully to find a Roofing contractor willing to come out and capable of doing all of the repairs necessary per my insurance claim, I decided to wait until The Fall to try again. Well, Fall turned into Spring and here I was in July still needing to replace my roof in addition to making other repairs. I asked my friends for recommendations and called several companies but was having difficulty finding anyone who was willing to do all the work expeditiously and at the right price, until I found Mr. Neely Willeford and his company Great Built Roofing and Construction. He sent a nice young man - William Seaman out to give me an estimate. William made it a point to complete the estimate before knowing what my insurance company allotted for my roof replacement and other repairs. Well, the roof was completed last week and I couldn't be happier. A crew of at least 8 people led by the very capable Luis showed up at 8 am and by 6:00 pm they were done! They did the entire roofing job in one day including the pick-up and delivery of the new shingles, the removal of the old shingles, and the roofing of the house, porch, and covered patio in the back. They were also able to install a solar vent. It was an amazing job. They picked up everything after the job was done. My yard looked like it did before they arrived in the morning. I had my roof inspected after completion and was told by the certified inspector that rarely has he come upon a new roof done so well, according to code. His painting crew led by Nino did the rest of the necessary work a few days later. Outstanding job! I would definitely recommend Great Built Roofing and their crews without hesitation!

Neely was great to work with. He came out to provide an inspection and gave me a quote before he left. His price was more than fair. We received other quotes, but after reading their numerous A+ reviews, we went with Great Built. His crew came out exactly when they were scheduled, didn't bother the neighbors, and left my yard clean (if I didn't already know they were there, I'd never know they were ever there). Although there was a slight mix up with the supplier shipping the wrong shingle, Neely made me a proposition I couldn't refuse and made one more extremely happy customer!

We were in need of a roof replacement due to hail damage and a representative from Great Built came out to do the estimate and asked if we have had any water damage from the hail damage, and I told him no. The day of the replacement came and everything seemed to be okay. I asked the man in charge if he saw any issues and the only thing he mentioned was that our roof had a double layer of shingles that needed to be removed also and we would have to supplement our insurance company for the extra cost. No problem. We started noticing small water stains a few weeks after the replacement when we started to get more rain. I called the company about the issue and I received two separate calls, one from the owner and one from the owner’s son (family business). They BOTH made the comments saying that they were advised that we had water damage before the roof was replaced and I advised them that that was 100% untrue. It seemed very calculated like they were trying to trip me up and not take responsibility. They advised me that there was no ‘flashing’ around the chimney when they went to replace the roof and that only tar was used around the seams to prevent water damage by previous owners and they offered to come back and do the same. My husband and I, not knowing anything about roofing, agreed and someone came out to tar the bottom of the chimney. Four days later during a storm at night, the water damage becomes five times worse. I called the company again demanding that they fix this issue and the owner comes out to assess the damage. He tells me that they will install a cricket at the top of the chimney to divert rain and put flashing around the sides. He said that someone will come out Wednesday or Thursday to complete it. Thursday afternoon comes and no one has shown up and I HAVE TO CALL THEM to see what the ETA is. I was told that someone would be there before the end of the weekend to get it done. It was the weekend of the Memorial Day holiday and never heard anything. I call the company AGAIN on Tuesday and was advised that someone would be at my house by noon. It thankfully did not rain from the time I spoke to the owner to Tuesday morning. No one showed up until about 1:30pm. At 2:30pm when they had the shingles off the roof to complete the repairs, it started pouring rain so bad the guys needed to get off the roof and wait out the storm in their truck. Once again, even more damaged was caused by their negligence. This entire issue and stress could have all been avoided if at replacement, they advised me to supplement my insurance company for the flashing needed for the chimney. I was advised by the owner of Great Built Roofing that insurance would not have approved it which my insurance company refuted. This has been a terrible experience that is still ongoing as we had to place another insurance claim to have the water damage fixed because we do not trust this company to correct the damage themselves and not cut corners. Do not use this company!!

Great, from my initial request for a roof inspection and estimate to project completion. Not the least expensive, but quality work. All of the Great Built Roofing employees that I dealt with (Candice, Gary, Neely, and the crew chief) were responsive and professional. I would use Great Built Roofing again.

The company responded promptly to my request for an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable. They gave me a date for installation and when an opening occurred earlier, they asked if I wanted to take advantage of it, which I did. The roofers (maybe 9 or 10) arrived and did everything in one day. All the roofers were nice, friendly people and very courteous. The followup inspection was done promptly and a final nail check was made. The roof looks good and the next time I mowed and trimmed I didn't find even one nail. I definitely recommend Great Built Roofing.

Half of the city was scrambling for repairs after the hailstorms. I contacted three roofing companies as soon as the adjuster sent our estimate. One never called back. Another called back the next day and scheduled an estimate three months out. Neely from Great Built called me within the hour and scheduled an estimate within a couple of weeks (apologizing for being so busy!). Moe arrived to provide the estimate, and had straight answers to all of our questions. He gave a complete walk-through of the materials and methods Great Built planned to use. After examining the roof, he provided a ground-up estimate based on their own costs (and not based on the insurance estimate), which was quite reasonable. I asked about an upgrade to hail resistant shingles, and about upgrading to Owens Corning Premium Cool shingles - he offered to follow up on a cost estimate for each upgrade, and did so promptly. Both Moe and Neely were always accessible for follow-up questions (we had several). Neely was willing to take a call at 6am! After receiving one other estimate, we decided to go with Great Built. Due to the high demand, it was hard to pin down a start date. Not a problem; Neely followed up with frequent updates on the scheduling as the time got closer. The actual replacement took 2 days, including cleanup, and we were very satisfied with the results. As of one year later, we have noticed no issues with the new roof. We highly recommend Great Built, and would hire them in the future!

Great Built Roofing and Construction did a fantastic job. They company was wonderful to work with and they completed everything just as they stated. Customer service was superb and the employees did a great job!
