We are a full service landscape company specializing in sod installation, lawn maintenance and landscape lighting. In addition to sod installation and lawn maintenance, we also offer architectural and landscape lighting to both the commercial and residential client. We originally needed a small amount of sod to replace an area that previously had bark mulch. Bruce responded to our request quickly and provided an estimate. The scope of the work changed and Bruce took care of it. The installation crew did a careful job preparing the area and installing the new sod. They cleaned up afterward and provided instructions for how to care for it.

<p>Called Bruce at Greatest Scapes Landscaping to get an estimate on replacing dead grass in front/side yard. We scheduled the meeting for the following day - he called later to see if he could come out that night ... wonderful !! Very personable and knowledgeable about the condition of our lawn. He was able to provide an estimate immediately and we scheduled the job for the following week. </p> <p>Unfortunately we were having issues with our sprinkler system and needed to have it repaired prior to sod installation. Bruce adjusted his schedule to accommodate the sprinkler repair.</p> <p>Bruce kept in contact with us via email regarding the installation schedule. On April 30 the sod was delivered, his team came out - prepared the yard and began laying sod, because of an emergency within the team - the sod was not completed in one day, but the guys came back the next morning and completed the job !</p> <p>We would definitely hire Bruce and his team again ~ Thank you !!!</p> <br />

I purchased a big deal through Angie's List for an advanced price of $700 for sod installation that included 2 pallets of sod. Greatest Scapes came to my house to estimate the total job. I was quoted a price of $1700 total for the job, 6 total pallets, including the $700 from Angie's List. I asked for a written quote that I never received. At the installation I asked again for the price and was quoted $1,700. IK asked if the $700 was to be deducted and he stated yes. less the $700. I got an initial invoice in the mail for $1,700 owed. I email back that the invoice was wrong and received a second invoice for $2,400 less $700 stating $1,700 was owed. This was not what I was lead to believe. No written estimate, wrong final amount.

"St. Augustine sod including tear out of existing growth, ordering and installation of new sod and cleanup is typically $450 per pallet. For our Angie's List customers, we reduce this to $425, and in this case a storefront deal was also purchased for 2 pallets for $700. So, full price would be 6 x $450 or $2700. In this instance, the customer got 2 pallets for the $700 storefront deal, leaving 4 pallets to purchase at a discounted rate of $425 per pallet. This gives a total of $2400 minus the $700 that was paid to Angie's List for a balance of $1700 ($425 x 4). This does not even include the 6 yards of dirt we put in and did not charge this customer for. The yard looked amazing, and we also used about a half of a pallet from another job to fill in some areas that were not previously discussed, at no charge to this customer."

We wanted tree and driveway lighting. Bruce (the owner) was responsive to our call and promptly scheduled an appointment to meet with us at dusk so he could show us what each of the lighting options would look like at night. He brought samples of different types of lighting and we were able to really see what the different options looked like in action. On the day of installation, the team arrived on schedule. They were friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We had a small problem with the "dusk to dawn" timer and when we called Bruce he arranged to come out and replaced it. We are extremely pleased with the products and the services of Greatest Scapes Landscaping and highly recommend the company. <br />

<p>At first, service was a little slow, since sod was not available. </p> <p>The 2 landscapers were very polite and friendly. Old grass was removed completely before new sod was installed. Of course, we were instructed to water daily. A couple of weeks later, they returned to check on the results. No problems in the back yard, but in front a few pieces of Centipede had to be replaced, which was promptly done. </p> <p>We highly recommend this company. </p> <br />

Both my wife and I really liked working with Bruce and would recommend anyone looking for sod to give him a call. Bruce is a great guy who was willing to meet with us after normal working hours, he knew his stuff and he delivered what he said he would. We are really happy with how everything turned out. The sod has been in for just a little over a week and it is already starting to green up! It is amazing how much of a difference having a nice lawn makes to the look and feel of our home. <br />

They did an excellent job. I want them to know that he's a person of integrity. He does what he said he's gonna do. He has got people that work for him that are just the highest caliber. There's none of good things I could say about him. It's my best experience I've had. The whole experience was very well. He stayed in touch. We had issues with some of the sods. They had to wait for it. I thought the price was fair. It was good. It was more than I had intended to spend but they did the job and did it very well. I think it was fair.

No problems with installation. Workers were courteous and professional. They completed the installation in about 5 hours of 4 pallets of sod. The installation was to include two maintenance visits including mowing. It is now 6 weeks since the installation and I have never heard from them. I gave up and started mowing myself. The Deal was a bit misleading. It said $499 for $1200 worth of sod. It turned out that the sod is $375 per pallet installed for an actual value of $750. I purchased 2 additional pallets (4 total) for a total cost of $1249. The sod is good quality and is filling in well. <br />

Came home from work to a beautiful yard. Bruce gave us a very reasonable quote and delivered as promised. Removed dead grass/weeds and installed healthy centipede. Highly recommend.
