Great Grout Tile Care

This company did an excellent job which has lasted so far and job was done about a year ago. Very pleased with resealing of grout.

Fantastic. My grout looks virtually brand new, which is pretty amazing considering it hadn't been professionally cleaned in 13 years. I will definitely have them back in a year, just to make sure it stays looking like it does now.

I purchased an Angies list special on 6.9.2016 for tile cleaning. I received the email from Angie's list confirming my request and days of availability the following week. I did not hear anything from the company so on 6.14.2016 I called them. They said they were backed up and couldn't come out until July. So we scheduled July 5th. On the day of, I got a call from the owner saying one of the techs had to cancel Andre had to reschedule. He couldn't reschedule at that time but would call back later in the day. I didn't hear anything that, the following, or any day after that until we called July 18th. In the call we told them we wanted additional work because they asked if you were just going to do the deal. We said we wanted more bathroom sealed. We sent pics of the bathrooms and measurements and agreed on a schedule for the 16th of July. We requested a quote which we never got. On the 21st we requested the quote again but the owner was out of town and asked for a few days. After not hearing back we called them and they said they need to come out to provide an estimate. We scheduled it but they never came out. Finally we decided to call and just stick to the deal Angies offered. They scheduled for the 16th of August. The 16th came and went. We called and they said they had us scheduled for the 17th. They came out did their work and left. Only problem is they stained 4 doors and some baseboards with some purple liquid. We saw it that they and tried to wipe it off and it didn't come off. We called them and they said it's never happened but to send pictures and they'd get back to us. We did send everything as requested. Have not heard back anything.

Tile work is quite nice. The personnel were overall pleasant and professional. I thought it unprofessional, however, that when my credit card was overcharged, it took 6-7 days, 2 phone calls from me to Giovannia and my calling Visa to get $ refunded.

We were very happy with our experience using Great Grout Tile Care.  Giovanni and his crew were friendly and professional.  They cleaned and sealed the grout on a fairly large tile floor and the floor looks brand new again.  I would recommend this company to others. <br>

<p>Giovanni called the day the work was to start and asked me if his crew could start almost two hours ahead of schedule.  We agreed to the change in time.  Giovanni and 1 crew member showed up to the house.  Giovanni left the 1 crew member at the house to start the job.  There was only one of us at the house when they arrived. There were some kind of noises coming from the bathroom and it was assumed that the noise was that of the removal of the grout, as promised.</p> <p>The crew member stated that he removed the grout and would return tomorrow to remove the rest of the grout and regrout the next day. Then he would return the day after that to seal the grout.  This is not what Giovanni and I had agreed to and if the terms of the agreement had been change, he did not discuss it with me or anyone in my household.  We agreed to removal of grout and regrout on Day 1.  Then, sealing of the grout on Day 2.  After 4 hours, the crew member left.  When I returned home to review the work that was done, I was surprised to see that little to nothing had been done!!!!  I was shocked!!!!  I immediately texted Giovanni with questions about what work that was to be done today and why the estimated time to complete the job was going to take an extra day?  </p> <p>Giovanni was defensive and kept giving excuses about how big the shower was.  I explained that since he only asked for pictures and measurements were asked for, I assumed the job would be performed as promised.  Giovanni become verbally aggressive, not appearing or sounding the slightest bit interested in my concerns or explain why the work hadn't been done, as promised.  He was combative and argumentative.</p> <p>Since the work was only started, they also removed the shower door, I am not going to continue with the company.  I DO NOT TRUST GIOVANNI!!!!  He is not an honest business man.  Maybe others had a better experience, but our experience makes me want to quit Angies List and go to a big box store to get the right kind of contractor.</p> <p>I cannot refer or recommend The Great Grout Tile Care because Givoanni lied about the time to complete the work, the process for regrouting the shower, and when contacted with questions, he stated that he didn't like that I asked questions at all.  This is incredibly offensive since I am paying him (and his crew) to perform a service and asking questions is my right as an educated consumer!</p>

It went fabulously well! We were on a limited budget but still wanted to give the kitchen a "face lift". <br /> When we installed our counter-tops years ago we chose bone colors for tile and grout. Through the years this had stained terribly and some tiles were very worn out from me bleaching them. Several had cracks and pieces missing. <br /> Great Grout worked with us to locate tile that matched our nearly 20 year old ceramic tile (not easy!). The crew came in and meticulously removed all old grout. They replaced all end cap tiles and several counter top tiles. Then they re grouted with a much darker grout color. Afterwards they sealed everything. It looks terrific!! Much better than we anticipated. <br /> Giovanni was very prompt and responsive in his communication with us throughout the entire process.  The crew worked very hard and cleaned up afterwards.  <br /> We are VERY pleased and already have another project in mind already! <br /> <br />

Looks OK.  The operator just left one area with soap or other material.  But otherwise, he did a very good job of cleaning the grout <br />
