We had a terrific experience with Great Home Movers from our initial communications, scheduling, and logistics planning with Chris to the actual move which involved picking up from one home, then delivering to two separate homes, and at the last home also clearing out used furniture pieces, appliances, and other items in the garage to bring to the recycle center. Our movers, Jared and Terrell, were so professional and efficient. They had great caring attitudes and you could really tell they enjoyed the work that they do. Thank you for making this such an amazing experience. We will definitely recommend your company to family and friends, and will use your services again in the future when needed.

This company was so good to work with, from getting the quote from Chris, to the moving team of Elijah, Grant, Trel and Alex! These young men were polite, professional, friendly and efficient. They handled are belongings with care! Enjoyed visiting with these young men as well! If we ever need movers again this will be are go to and recommend them 10/10.

Went amazing!!!! Only place that was open late (past 7 or 8 pm) so I was able to call them and schedule a moving job next morning!!! Had a crew of two and they did amazing!!! Were able to move my heavy floor length tri-fold mirror (over 100 pounds) and my reclining/lift chair (also very heavy). Their base rate for 2hrs was more reasonable than a lot of other companies that quoted. Super fast, didn't loli-gag to charge you more, great communication, nice, and able to work well in heat and with no elevator to help!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Extremely well! My adult kids wanted a mover, I referred Great Home Movers. They did not disappoint us. They were fun, energetic, respectful and timing was perfect, no complaints and even had another move to make after leaving us at 3:00. This was a big move out of an old house in Mpls not easy with straight up stairs. But mostly they were fun, my daughter in law said she will never move again without them!

The move went amazing, the movers were punctual and very respectful of my personal belongings-- they moved quickly and efficiently, and wrapped up all mirrors and larger delicate items to ensure safe arrival at the new place. I have used GHM twice, once to move my household in town, and once for appliance pickup and delivery from Sears outlet. Working with Chris was very comfortable, he was easy to talk to and everything happened as promised. Overall the jobs done for me were excellent! And nothing was broken or missing either! We’ve used Great Home Movers for two household move and their crew was amazing! On time, good communication, careful with our belongings and a great attitude when there were a few hiccups beyond our control (weather and broken elevator). We definitely recommend them and would use their services again!

I love them. Very very pleasant people. Very flexible. A lot of pride in their work. They do everything carefully and quickly for a reasonable cost. I've recommended them to my other friends who had used them and had a good experience. I also recommended them to a real estate management company. Another thing I like about them is they're small business managed by Chris and he takes a lot of pride on his work.

Move went Really well. It was a 3 person crew. They showed up on time. Hubby also helped move items. It was extrremly hot that day. They worked for just under 8 hrs in extremly humid and hot temps. The beast to move was a 750 lb gun safe. The crew, Chris, Ed, Jake worked very hard. Once I remember that they set our wood table leafs onto the cement as they staged it to load into the truck. They should have set them on top of something to protect the wood even though it was there only temporarily. I asked Jake to do that and he did. I did note after the move that the vinyl on an arm rest of desk chair was scuffed and worn. It may have occured when item was strapped into the truck...not sure. Not a big issue. They did wrap furniture with plastic wrap when items had drawers. They also used moving blankets for padding items. They really packed the truck full from top to bottom, front to back. It was a 27 ft truck. We only wanted 1 truck load from old house to new house. We were doing the rest of the move ourselves. The crew was pleasant and worked well together. They charged 160./hr for 3 guys, a 25. Trip charge, the gun safe was addl. 100. No mileage or other charges. They would have charged 30. To lay plastic protection on carpet but we did that ourselves at the new house. Menards sells rolls of plastic that is easy to apply and we put it where we wanted it. Some boxes and sm furtniture idid not end up in the correct room even though they were labled. That was not a great deal to us but for some who may not be very able bodied that may be a problem. They could use a more heavy duty dolly with beefier tires according to my hubby who owns a much better one than they did. It would have been more efficient.
