When I first contacted Great Lakes Home Improvement, they were very responsive and seemed professional. Once they got the deposit check, it was like dealing with a completely different company - they rarely returned calls/messages. When they would get back to me and say they would begin work on a specific date, they wouldn't show up on that date. The work to be completed was due court order (we live in Cleveland Hts in a very old home). We specified that the repairs needed to be done by a certain day in order to get inspected before our court date - they missed that deadline and only "completed" the work the day before court. When the work was inspected, the inspector immediately pointed out glaring issues that Great Lakes missed - a brick in the chimney was loose and close to falling out, this was nearby work completed by the company (see attached photo). When I messaged about the brick, I never received a response.

Great Lakes Home Improvement responded rapidly to my request for quote to replace my windows. After good communication between myself and the representative, a member of the team came out to inspect my application. Two quotes were then offered based on the quality of the windows I desired. The prices were very competitive with market standards. I can't wait to have Great Lakes come back out for installation.

The experience was awesome! I called great lakes home improvement. They responded very quickly and efficiently. Shaun came to my house looked over my roof and gutters. Gave me a price. What made me choose them was I felt Shaun was very knowledgeable in his products and was very honest and upfront. And when it came to working on the roof they got it done in a professional matter. If I need another roof again I'm going to them, no questions asked! Not just great work! The best work!

Came out for estimate on same day of call. Completed temporary repair very next day. Complete roof repair done within four days of original call. Very prompt, reliable and professional. Would definitely hire again and recommend to others.

The work was excellent, they were upfront and honest about the price, because you never know what's up under those old shingles because we had some leaking in the building they even did some extra sheet metal work in the front of the building that wasn't even a part of the contract we were well pleased and happy I highly recommend them

I had a back gutter on my house damaged during a storm. I called great lakes home improvement and had a rep out quickly to look at it. it was repaired in no time and at a very great price. I'm going to need some additional work done on the house soon and will be definitely giving them a call.

Everything went very well. I had a lot of questions and they were always happy to walk me through what they were doing and explain everything to me. It’s a great family business with a lot of experience between the sons and their father and their father’s father! I felt like I could trust them and I knew they weren’t lying to me or just trying to sell me something extra. Already speaking to them regarding additional projects. It’s very hard to find someone you feel comfortable with but these guys gave me that feeling.

It went great! It really makes a difference with new siding. I could not be happier with the work that was done - completely satisfied with everything.
