The service call went as expected and lasted about an hour and a half given my list of issues to be resolved. <br /> Good value if you have minor projects to be completed. <br />

After he left I had to have some of the work re-fixed in regards to the work he had done.

They are very responsive. Day 1, they came and checked our plumber system and use a snake unclogged our drain. However, the drain was blocked again that night. I gave them a call and they promised to come back 7:00am next day, which they did. They ran the snake further and got some root tissue out of it. The drain problem went away.

The deal that was purchased was $99 for 2 hours of plumbing work and a plumbing inspection.  The owner, Rhonda, was great.  She promptly scheduled my service and was very professional.  The service person that arrived was on time and and also very professional, though he did not stay for the full 2 hours (he was there approximately 1 1/2 hours).  He was able to repair one toilet but was not able to repair the other.  He did offer to come back if I bought another toilet and replace it at a discount. <br />

No problems at all.  One fixture was standard ceiling height while the other was 12-14' high.  Both were replaced quickly with no problems!  Would definitely use this company again. <br />

The service went fine. I had them repair some fans. One technician came out and used the full 2 hours I purchased to do what he could. He did a good job and was polite. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

I hired another company to replace the water pipes in my attic last January and they made an unbelievably huge mess out of everything that they touched. The hot/cold pipes were switched on several spigot, my washing machine and my toilet; some spigots were cut off completely and I think they used the wrong size pipes as the pressure in the kitchen was extremely low. It was so low that I couldn't use the hose that I usually use to clean my fish tanks and turtle tanks. There wasn't enough water pressue to create suction to drain the tanks. I was having to use buckets to clean the tanks which is a HUGE, back breaking pain when you have a 125 gallon tank. <br /> Steve at Great Texas has worked on several issues over several months fixing what the other plumber screwed up. This time Steve switched the hot/cold connections on an outside spigot since it was hooked to hot water by the other plumber--and I couldn't use it to water my plants. He also cleaned out the lines in the kitchen trying to get more pressure to the faucet and fridge. He figured out that the filter in the fridge was causing the low water and no ice in the fridge so I replaced that and now it works fine. I thought the ice machine was broken and was about to call a fridge repair person. <br /> I also ended up buying a new kitchen faucet since the other was probably 35 years old and corroded. Steve installed thatand it is working great. I've got much better pressure and can use my hose to clean the fish/turtle tanks again. Whew. <br /> Last year, when I had a leak in a pipe that caused my den ceiling to fall, Steve came out and patched up the pipe and didn't even charge me for it. When I discovered a water leak coming through the ceiling in a front bedroom at 10:00 pm, I left a message on Great Texas' voicemail and Steve called me back that night to tell me how to turn off the water. He came out the next day to fix it. That leak turned out to be water overflowing the AC pan---which he was able to fix because they do AC work too. <br /> I call Great Texas when I need any plumbing, electrical or AC work. They are very honest and won't tell me that something needs to be replaced if it doesn't. I've been ripped off by so many other contractors, I really appreciate that. <br /> I highly recommend them to everyone. <br /> <br />

Steve, our handyman was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and very professional.  He explained things as he went along with the job.  He did a very neat and professional job.  He cleaned up all trash and took it with him.  He answered all of our questions and most of all he was a very personable guy.  I appreciate all Great Texas did for me.  Kudos to the team! <br />

That turned out okay. They installed 2 ceiling fans. I had purchased the fans and it took one electrician to install them. It took him less than 2 hours.

Steve was on time, worked steadily, knew what to do and how to do it, I couldn't be more pleased with his work and attitude!  I highly recommend this company. <br />

Steve arrived on time and was very professional. The work my wife and I had planned took a lot less time than we planned. So, we were scrambling to find things for him to do. He was very helpful in suggesting things that we would not have thought of. He did a good job on fixing plumbing, toilet leaks, etc. The deal was for 2 hours and we used up most of that time. Will use them again. <br /> we used them again later after being very satisfied by the November visit. We had a kitchen faucet link that Steve fixed. He even had to go purchase a part and came back and installed it.  Since the time had not been used up he offered to do things to till the time. I appreciate that.  I have had plumbers charge the whole service call when they left long before the time had expired. <br /> overall excellent work. <br />

On the whole it was okay. The exception is that the electrician ran two separate cables down form the loft to the wall sockets, but didn't take the trouble to make the cables vertical. The cables slant across the wall so now I have to move the two sockets and re-plaster the wall. <br />

It turned out fine. I had some specific items that needed fixed. They took care of everything. They were prompt, on time, and let us know when someone was on the way to the house. Those basic elements of service are always really appreciated. The technician was very knowledgeable and the big deal had excellent value!

I have used them before and I have used them recently.  I think they are very professional and they are excellent.  I would use them again.
