GreatWater Irrigation is a small business based in Fort Worth. Our employees have over 30 years combined experience in irrigation design, repair and efficiency optimization. We use modern irrigation products and techniques designed to reduce water waste and save homeowners 30-60% on their landscape water usage. We also install energy efficient outdoor LED landscape lighting, outdoor audio systems, patio misting and bistro lighting systems. We can create innovative pondless water features that reduce the high-maintenance needs of traditional features as well as repair and improve existing water features.

Everything went exceeding well! Mike Greathouse of GreatWater Irrigation and Ecoscapes carefully inspected my sprinkler system and then expertly repaired two broken sprinklers. I found Mike to be knowledgeable and personable. His charges for services performed were fair and reasonable. The next time my sprinkler system needs repairs, I will definitely call Greatwater Irrigation and Echoscopes. I highly recommend them to any Angie List member needing to have their sprinkler system inspected and/or repaired.

"We appreciate your feedback. We work hard to provide the best pricing we can on quality products. We could advocate for less expensive options but in our experience, we just don't get the performance or water savings that we see with our Hunter & Rachio products. On average, customers report the system upgrade pays for itself in about 2 years and sometimes a lot faster, depending on your usage. We can measure you usage before and after to show you exactly how much you would save. I'd encourage you to seek quotes for the same service from other providers as we're typically 20-50% less than others! I understand that this may not be a service you have a need for but we're proud to have saved the Tarrant area over 3 billion gallons of wasted irrigation water in less than 4 years."

It went very well. The service rep gave me some suggestions to increase the efficiency of my sprinkler system, showed me the best ways to set the watering schedule, and replaced a broken head. I was very pleased.

He moved it off to the side of the driveway, and that was okay. We didn't need to water for quite a while after the repair. Once watering was needed and our "warranty" had expired, the dirt by the driveway, where the repair was made, started dropping down. It appeared that the new repair was leaking. Will have to get somebody out to repair the repair I guess. What he did adjusting the other sprinklers in the yard was good thought. One thing that I did not like was having a survey stuck under my nose at the end of the repair. No choice but to fill it out the way the repairman wanted it.

"It's unfortunate but there appears to be some misunderstanding. The repair we made for you would still be under warranty for a full year after the service visit in March of this year. We also don't utilize survey's on site after a service. After an audit and tune up are performed a series of different estimates and a multi-page detailed report are sent out by email, generally a few days later. We'll contact you this week and will be more than happy to come back out and take a look the area we repaired to see if it needs any additional work."

Workers were professional, polite, efficient, and work was done on time. Mr. Greathouse came by the next day to adjust the lights and make sure we were happy with the job. He returned my call promptly when I had a question. Very pleased with GreatWater and would definitely recommend to others and use again ourselves.

He charged more because there were some extra things. He replaced some parts. It worked out okay. I got a proposal for him to do additional work. He's very expensive. But for what he did it was a good bargain. The work was fine. There was a bit of a communication glitch. The experience was good. I plan to use them for additional work.

This 2017 year ...They made spray adjustments and worked out detailed rescheduling with attention to new plants and areas that had more or less sun. Greg got us all fixed up this time. We have a lot of faith in the quality you'll receive from GreatWater. Oh ... and the more efficient water usage keeps the yard and beds looking great at minimal cost. The switchover from old fashioned water sprinkling to efficient irrigation is definitely worth it.

After an initial inspection and review, it was discovered that we had several bad sprinkler heads and two failed valves. In a second appointment, all work was completed in a timely and professional manner. I appreciated his thoroughness, and knowledge of new texhnology and "smart" sprinkler systems.

Work went very well as far as I can tell. I feel kind of bad for giving them a C rating on professionalism because he acted very professional and did the job very well... I think. The only reason he didn't get straight A's is because, while he worked, I was on a conference call. My wife talked to him when he finished. All she really understood was, everything seemed fine, and he said he would email me what he found and did to the system. The only problem was, I never heard from him again. :-( No email, no phone call. Having said that, he seemed to do a great job - the system is all working well and the time is set. I would recommend his service to others. <br> Update: After I posted this, I did receive not one, but 3 emails from GreatWater. One giving a very detailed analysis of my system, one giving a quote for fixing specific issues they found, and one for retrofitting the entire system with water saving rotor heads. This was very professional. I still rate them down a bit for not replying until over a week later, but I am much happier with them now.

GreatWater did a thorough assessment of the current state of my sprinkler system and proposed improvements, but to my knowledge they made no adjustments to the system. I expected a "tuneup" to include adjusting nozzle directions and distances, station runtimes, etc. The bottom line is that I paid them for an estimate on improvements, and I suspect many other companies would provide such an estimate for free.
