"The primary reason for your service call was a damper issue causing cold air intrusion.That issue was fully diagnosed and fixed FOR FREE,even though damper repairs are normally billable and we could and should have charged for it. We also performed a full video inspection, explained the chimney?s condition, and showed you how to operate the damper. The $125 inspection was agreed upon, and due to heavy buildup, a sweep was required to inspect safely?this was clearly explained and approved by you."
