I think the finishing around the window could've been a little bit nicer. Our basement isn't really finished. It still the brick wall, cement wall.It just seems like it could've been finished off more than it was. They were quick. I didn't see a lot of debris or anything. I know sawing through cement can be messy but they seemed to be very clean and efficient. They were out here pretty quick. We checked around and they were very reasonable.

Had Greene Construction install egress window in basement. Estimator was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every option and detail. Installers were professional. They answered all my questions and made some alterations to where the extra dirt was put and provided extra tarps to cover the dirt in case of rain. I would definitely recommend and hire them again.

Damian and his crew did an amazing job on my basement. I had at least two other contractors flake out on me and I was thinking no one would want to tackle my basement. I had multiple floods in my basement and needed a lot of sheetrock repair. I also needed a stud wall, sheetrock and electrical run for a wall I had to tear down (sump pump and drain tile installed by someone else). They handled the job no problem. Communication was excellent, they showed up on time and I never felt like they were "in the way." The workers were always polite and they left a clean work space. If I ever need more work done I would not hesitate to call them again. I feel like I have my basement back.

DO NOT USE GREENE CONSTRUCTION! I had an estimate performed in June, signed a contract in August, and I still have no work done on my project and it's almost January. I have received little or no communication unless I call them, which I am told that they'll get the project on the schedule, but they haven't shown up at all. The owner's voicemail is full so I can't even leave a message any longer. All I can do is text him, with no response there either.

"On 8/6/16 we entered into a contract to install a new flat epdm roof on [Member Name Removed]'s rear porch roof. On 8/11/2016 I went to the home to measure for the installation, When doing the measuring I noticed that the existing railing did not meet code and would need to be updated with a code compliant railing system. I notified the Sales Consultant Marc and he told me he would talk to [Member Name Removed] had two options, amend the contract to add in the railing at an additional cost or void the contract. After 34 days [Member Name Removed] contacted Marc ( sales consultant) and told him he would like to move forward with the railing, [Member Name Removed] however wanted to see a sample of the texture of the railing. After about another 2 weeks [Member Name Removed] stated he would like the "fine black texture". We ordered the railing and after about 6 weeks it arrived. It is now the week of thanksgiving. To install a flat roof you must use glue. The minimum temperature for the glue is 42* and rising. I contacted [Member Name Removed] and told him that we can get it done, but it must be at least 42* and rising with no rain. As of Christmas, that opportunity hadn't presented itself. While we were closed the week between Christmas and New Years, [Member Name Removed] called the office repeatedly ( caller id record) didn't leave a message. He also text and called my business cell phone, but i didn't respond as we were closed for the holidays as my voice mail message stated.. Upon returning to the office on January 3rd we received this review and also the charge back from his credit card company. If the customer had responded to our questions in a timely manner, his new roof would have been installed last October. But due to his delays we were not able to make it happen Damian Greene Greene Construction, Inc. 612 886 4747"

In 2015, Greene installed an egress window. I was very happy with their work and their company. In 2016, I got their bid to install new storm windows on my house. They also measured and gave me a bid to put new siding on my garage, even though I had only mentioned this in passing and I told them I was not ready to have that done for another year or two. After waiting several months, into the cold weather, without hearing anything about my storm windows, I inquired and got a short, curt email back saying the company was over booked and under staffed and they would not be able to install my storm windows, and that I should get a handyman. Needless to say, I am having to go through another window with my old, non-functioning storm windows.

Everything went great! They were able to come out and do an estimate within a week or so. The work was scheduled out a few weeks after that and everything looks great. The workers were courteous and considerate of my property; they walked me thru the process as they were doing it and had me inspect the work before they left.

Damien fit us in to a busy summer schedule and communication was great. The process was fast, simple, and easy. The egress looks great inside and out. I was worried about a mess inside a finished basement but had nothing to worry about.

I had a terrible experience. I never got the work done. I signed a contract June 23. I was told that Gopher State would come out, mark the utilities and then the work would start next week. Nothing happened, and no one followed up with me. I made some phone calls and couldn't get anyone to return them. I called Damien and the customer service rep. The customer service rep. said she would call me back in an hour. No one called me back. I kept calling and finally got a hold of Damien. He said Gopher State hadn't marked the utilities so they couldn't do the work. A week later Gopher State marked the utilities. Still no one came and did any work. No one called me to let me know what was going on. This went on for two more weeks. I started making phone calls again to bot Damien and the customer service rep. The customer service rep. said she would call me back in an hour and never called back. I finally get a phone call at 6 p.m. Tuesday after I left a voice mail the day before asking for my money back. Damien explained they were behind because of the hot weather and some other things. However, after two delays and no one would promptly return phone calls, I lost all trust and faith that work was actually going to get done. I just asked for the my money back and am disputing the charge since I used a credit card for the down payment.

"This is somewhat truthfull.. This was a contract to remove an existing egress well, excavate the area around it and patch the foundation where the concrete was deteriorating. I explained to [Member Name Removed] that this was a "fill in" job.. We would be there in "spurts" when possible because to excavate the dirt and apply the first patch would take about 3 hours, then to return and apply a second patch would take about 1 hour, the third coat being the same and then to return and install the removed egress well and backfill would take about 2 more hours. This would entail 4 trips to the home and we would coordinate this with other jobs. [Member Name Removed] seemed to understand this when the contract was signed, but after taking her downpayment she insisted we attend to her project first and foremost. I again explained the procedure to her and she seemed to understand but several days later she completely lost it. We refunded her the downpayment and wished her well.."

Everything went as scheduled. The workers were respectful of our property and always cleaned up the area before they left for the day. Damian Greene took care of details that we didn't even think about. We would highly recommend Greene Construction for any home remodeling project that you are considering. Working with Greene was a great experience. They were prompt and thorough, and easy to communicate with. Damian is quick to respond to questions, and the guys on the crew kept me in the loop on things (and provided suggestions on other work, unrelated to what they were doing). They stuck to their budget, were flexible on scheduling as some other aspects of the project got shuffled around, and made the whole thing easy. <br> <br>We ran in to several snags during the work - the ground had settled under the floor leaving a gap of a few inches, a several hundred pound rock was found in the corner where we wanted to place the sump basket, and more concrete had to be removed than expected.

Greene Construction Inc was amazing. The best contractor I have ever had and will use them again for sure. <br /> First they installed the egress window for us and the next day came back to build a pine wall and door so our middle child could have his own bedroom. <br /> It took two full days and it was worth it. Both mornings they showed up at 8 AM and worked until it was done. They cleaned up well after the work was done as well. <br /> The company is great and I recommend them to all. <br /> TJ and Gary do great work and are really nice guys and they know what they are doing. <br /> Demian, who is the owner - is the kind of contractor you want - A great one. <br /> He was on vacation when I first contact him and he got back to me right away to set up a meeting. A contractor that actually wants business - finally! <br /> Friendly, honest, great work and prompt. <br /> <br /> <br />

It went fine, and they do their work quickly and efficiently. From what I can tell, they are a reputable contractor who will hold up their end of the bargain. I would work with them again. That being said, I've relayed to them that there were a couple of things they could do on future jobs to improve their service: <br /> 1) Let the homeowner know when they are there and begin working. They showed up and got right to work without ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door. They also did not let us know when they were done, so we didn't know when it would be okay to lock up. <br /> 2) It would have been nice if they put up some plastic sheeting to contain dust when cutting into the foundation. Although they didn't create a ton of dust, that stuff is so incredibly fine that it's miserable to clean up. Had I known they weren't planning to hang up some plastic I would have strung it up myself to avoid that headache. <br /> The city inspector came by to close out the permit and noted that they forgot to caulk along the exterior of the window and more foam should be used in the remaining block cavities. These really aren't tough for me to finish up, but they should have a checklist to run through before they leave the work site. <br />

This provider did a great job and completed it in one day. The replacement window is double paned and a large improvement over the prior window. The "earth well" on the outside has been redone with timbers per my request and appears to be tight and durable. My only comment to the contrary is that there was considerably more dust than I anticipated and a small ladder was not placed in the outside "earth well". <br />

Damien and his crew are fantastic! I highly recommend them for any and all of your construction needs. I am a picky interior designer, and they surpassed my expectations! <br /> They went above and beyond to recommend other subcontractors and talked through everything with me thoroughly throughout the project. We were so very pleased with the work Greene Construction did for us. The house painters were incredibly thorough in their prep work, & their attention to detail resulted in an excellent, high-quality paint job. Damien & his company prioritized the roof for us, as water was leaking into our living room every time it rained, & we had a new roof within days. We are delighted with the work they did on our sun-porch, working within our limited budget to provide the most usability for what we were able to spend. They were responsive every time we called, & accomodated all our requests. We can't say enough about how easy they were to work with, or how pleased we are with the work they did for us. We'd recommend them without reservation, & will absolutely use them again. <br />

It went excellent. The workers were here 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time of 9am and were done around noon. The guys were professional, knew their stuff, and put up with listening to my dad's crazy stories when he stopped by to see the progress. Damien Greene (the owner) was on site, dug the hole with his mini-backhoe, and cut the block himself. I would absolutely highly recommend Greene Construction for any job you have! <br />
