Green came out, diagnosed, and repaired the fan in a single day. I'm very happy with the service. I will certainly call them again for any heating and A/C needs.

Contracted Green for a mid June Central AC checkup prior to the start of summer. No problems were noted, pressures were ok and temp differential was normal. Early August the AC stopped cooling and found water leaking out of the unit in basement (ice formation on coils). Called my home warranty insurance company to get the AC serviced. Tech found all fittings on the outside unit loose (not even finger tight) and could see Freon bubbling from the connections. Looks like the system was never buttoned up properly from the check-up performed by Green. Required 4 pounds of Freon to bring the AC system back into operation that costed me over $400.

Just wanted to thank Green Heating Cooling & Electric for coming out when they did. Our heater was not working on a day where the outside temperature was 34 degrees. Called several heating companies but they all couldn't come out until after noon. Then I was fortunate to call Green Heating Cooling & Electric and George told me they can come out in late morning. I agreed but asked if he could find a way to come earlier. He called me back minutes later to tell me they were able to fit us in within the next half hour. I was so thankful for their rescheduling efforts. Then when the servicemen came, they were very professional. Checked the system: water level, damper operation, gas switch, venting, etc. Along the way, they explained what to look for and found that the blocked vent switch triggered and had cut off gas to the heater. Soon, the heater was running again. All in all, great experience and was happy to have called Green Heating Cooling & Electric.

fast and reasonably priced

The technician from Green showed up right on time and quickly determined that the compressor just needed one part, and that the rest of the compressor was fine. He was able to fix it in about 45 minutes. He checked the pressure to make sure everything else was OK. Now our AC works great.

From start to finish, they were no nonsense and professional. I really appreciated that they gave me options for different furnaces and compressors. You would think this was a given, but the other company I called just assumed that I wanted the least expensive unit. I'm usually a pick-the-middle-option kinda person 'cause I feel like you get a better bang for your buck without spending top dollar. Add onto that that their quote came in significantly lower ($10k vs $15k) with a better warranty (2 yrs vs 1 yr) and I decided to go with Green. I was not disappointed, as they showed up when they said they would, with an efficient crew that was willing to work around the schedule of my general contractor. The work is done and the system works and looks great. Also gotta say it's really nice that they installed a programmable thermostat instead of a cheap one. I know it's not a huge deal, but sometimes it's the little things that count! I just had Green come out to give me a quote at a second property, and in addition to suggesting some options that would work for us, they even told me about options that other companies offer. Overall, just an honest and professional company.

Prompt diagnosis and solution. The parts were ordered and fixed the next day.

They completed the advertised Angie's list special to tune up our system, and then problem solved an issue we are having with our 60's era home sending equal heat to all rooms. Due to the poorly devised network of duct-work in our home, only so much can be done. But after assessing, they did play with the dampers, and it definitely made a little positive difference. We only paid for the Angie's List coupon for the tune up special. They charged us nothing more for problem solving and adjusting dampers. Thank you!

Very professional. Arrived on time. Finish the work in the promised time. Detected a subtle gas leak which will be fixed subsequently. Explained in detail the work involved and the money involved.

The service person performed things professionally and promptly. I didn't give them an excellent for responsiveness only because I did not receive an estimate for another modification I wanted to consider. I'm sure all I have to do is make a quick phone call to get estimate.

Excellent. No problems when we had to reschedule the service call because the temperature dipped too low for doing the work. The new service call went well: arrived on time, completed all the tasks on the checklist (prior contractors missed items), and provided a fair price for additional Freon (prior contractors were greedy). I plan to use them for future tune-ups and equipment replacement when needed.

Overall I had a positive experience with Green. My air conditioning condenser was acting up and the techs that responded said it could be a lower refrigerant pressure. The biggest problem I had was they were not up front with the additional cost of the refrigerant before it was added to my system. When the refrigerant did not fix the problem, they came out to reassess the problem and found a faulty capacitor. Pricing was up front and very fair which I appreciated given the mix-up on the first visit. Techs were respectful of my home and my time.

It went very well. They provided with information on how to maintain both central air and heating unit. The tips were very helpful and the thorough explanation of my unit tune up gave me a better understanding of how it works.
