Bill and his team helped rebuild my home after Superstorm Sandy. Made an immensely stressful experience a lot more bearable. Loved the finished product. The staircase was truly a showpiece!!! Everyone comments on the custom railings and tilework.

It was great. Bill was always on time and brought new ideas. When we had ideas, he would make recommendations to make the space most useful. Knew exactly what he was doing with the materials and what we needed.

Excellent, yes. They did a great job, they were on time, they left the area clean and very personable. Nice people.

It took a while to get done, but that was the insurance company. In the end, he did a decent job.

They are reliable and always returned texts or phone calls right away. They completed the work as promised.

What started out as a bathroom project expanded into adjacent spaces and ended up with an extensive renovation that extended to the kitchen, laundry room and mudroom -- and even the roof. Bill's flexibility was initially useful and is what enabled a small project to grow into a significantly larger project. Scheduling was a problem, there was a lot of rework and quality control was weak. in retrospect, it would have been much better to have someone who's a much stronger planner and had all the details worked out before starting a project so that there would be no surprises rather than someone who readily "plays it by ear". I regret the arrangement to pay for the materials with a markup, which turned into an open ended blank check and was very hard to manage. Bills were presented with items that clearly should not have been charged to me, including completely unrelated items from Home Depot (household appliances) as well as expensive electrical wire in quantities that were far in excess of what possibly could have been used on the job, not to mention tools that any carpenter or plumber should already have in their toolbox. Many of the invoiced items are completely unrecognizable and untraceable. in short, this was a bottomless pit. along the way, even though I paid my bills whenever asked, the workers were not paid their salaries and had complained to me directly. I am sure this resulted in poor quality work. At one point, during the course of one particular calendar week (five work days), there were four different tile guys working on the kitchen floor. tiles were laid crooked and ultimately had to be ripped up and replaced. the roof job was poor, and the rolled roofing bubbled nearly immediately, which Bill blamed faulty materials which he purchased. I had to have this roof replaced less than 15 months later. Unbelievably, the wall tile in the other bathroom was replaced 3 times before it was done properly (yes, 3 times. They installed the wall tile once, then ripped it out, then installed the wall tile a second time, then ripped out again, then installed more wall tile a third time, then ripped it out again, a third time, then installed properly finally the 4th time)!!!!
I could go on and on. Overall a bad experience.
