This was so long ago. I keep getting a pop up to do a review. I wasn't impressed and wouldn't use them again. I was very specfic about what I wanted. They replaced outlet in back yard and put new one in garage, but didn't put them on different breakers. I would've actually paid whatever it cost to have it done, but he wasn't interested. He kinda kept dismissing it. He was very late I remember. So they were in a rush. Didn't spend two hours there. Were in and out real quick. Was very disappointed. I had previously bought this deal from Tap and Son's and those guys were amazing and got a lot done. Even after they finished what I asked they asked if there was anything else since I still had time left. There guy were in and out in an hour. I felt ripped off. I know I should've done this review a long time ago, but I wasn't even interested in having them come back out to make it right. Didn't like how they really weren't interested in what I wanted to have done. Their loss could've made some decent money off of me.
I was pretty happy, except that I made repeated requests for a written invoice, and I don't know if they ever responded with a written invoice. They worked on the outlet and it should be working, but they won't come out and fix the outlet, so it is still not fixed. There were no additional charges. No matter if a work is done as a deal work, if they don't stand behind their work no matter how small, it is not worth it. It is going to cost me money to repair the outlet that they supposedly fixed. It was a very good deal and they didn't charge me anything extra.

They did fine. We'll probably hire then to do some additional work.

The basic electrical work went well. The switches and the outlet work fine.
At the start of the job I specified switches with indicator lights so the pump condition could be seen at a glance. They said: no problem, install unlighted switches now and we'll order switches with lights (2 three-way and 1 four-way).
The job was completed with unlighted switches and a promise to replace them with lighted switches as soon as they are received.
There have many delays and unanswered telephone messages. The story is: nobody makes a four-way lighted switch, but three-way lighted switches are available.
After a while, I stopped leaving messages on their phone. I would like to have the available lighted switches.

They installed a light fixture and adjusted the length on another light I had. There were 2 electricians and they were here for a little less than an hour. He was suppose to call me back for additional quotes. I never heard back from them. I also tried to contact them through Angie’s List and I still got no response.

The installation was fine and worked okay for a period of time. It stopped working, we called them, the came out and it started working when they came out to check it. It worked off and on for a period of time and is now not working at all.

The power the ceiling fan and the closet light are both not working. The work started showing irregular behavior about 5 months after installation and stopped working completely less than a year after the installation.

- They made good and came out and updated the work to ensure that there were no more issues

Green light electric did a very nice job once they arrived. Took two days and two separate communication issues for them to arrive, but aside from that the install went very well.
They did an excellent job. They put in an electric plug and a GFI receptacle box and trim. They also installed a timer on our water heater. They were very efficient and we were impressed.

My experience worked out really well. They were very quick and arrived on time for the appointment. They brought all the right equipment with them so they could do their job correctly. They were very professional and they cleaned up well after themselves. I wanted some additional work done and they did not get back to me about that.

It went great! Greenlight was very professional, courteous and responsive. The electrician did a really good job of bending the conduit and the end result looked very nice. All nice ... level and straight runs of conduit. I will definitely hire them again as they have reasonable prices and do a fantastic job.

I hired Greenlight Electric to move my countertop outlets up 6 inches. He completed the work so I hired him to put in under and over cabinet lighting. When he did this, he had one person in the attic and he was feeding the wires. They drilled a hole through the wall which went through a water line for my fridge. Water flooded the area behind the fridge. When they pulled my fridge out, they scratched my brand new marble flooring. I paid him for the entire project even though he needed to return to repair the sheetrock. I didn?t realize the marble had been scratched until after he had left.

I called him in regards to the flooring. He admitted he knew it had been scratched and said he would call a company to repair the floor. The company never made the appointment. Greenlight Electric called me and told me he would re schedule the repair work. The repair company never made that appointment either. Greenlight Electric then made an appointment to repair the sheetrock portion, which they did not keep.

Meanwhile I had some stained grout areas on my marble in the living room for which I had a Marble repair company scheduled. When this company arrived I requested a quote for the scratched areas and they gave me a price to perform the work based on already being at the home. I called Greenlight Electric 2 times and left messages to let them know the pricing. I never received a call back from Greenlight Electric and as they had already missed 3 appointments, I went ahead and had the repair work completed. The repair company charged me $250 to buff the scratches.

When Greenlight Electric finally came out to fix the sheetrock, I told them I had to hire another company to fix the flooring. He told me to email him the invoice and he would write me a check for it. I sent him an email as we were talking and he confirmed that he had received the email and would send me a check as he did not have his checkbook with him. A month later, I still had not received a check. I emailed him and he called to let me know he did not have any more checks and had not received his new checks from the bank. He said he would send a money order instead. Another month passed and I did not receive the money order. I have since e-mailed him 2 more times with no response. I still have not received the money he owes me ($250) for repairing my marble floor.

The job, which I think probably could have been completed in one day, went on over a couple of weeks.
The first exterior outlet was installed flush with the exterior wall, and Mr. Powes was working on the second one as a flush installation, when I objected and said I expected the box to be recessed. He countered that he avoided recessed installation because of the risk of damage to the exterior stucco. I insisted on recessed installation and told him that if there were any exterior stucco damage, I would repair it. He proceded to install the three outlets recessed and there was no stucco damage.
The installation of the LED ribbon lighting was one problem after another. On the first visit, Mr. Powers informed me that he had ordered the lighting but had not received it, so the first day he would be working only on wiring. A couple of hours after he and his helper arrived, I went to the kitchen, expecting them to be working on replacing the existing switch for the old undercabinet lights with a switch appropriate to the low-voltage LED lighting. Instead, I found a rather large hole in the middle of an expanse of wall a few feet away. Mr. Powers informed me that they did not have access to the old switch from the attic and had to open a new access. Unfortunately, they broke into a wall area that had already been patched in the course of earlier kitchen remodeling and, in the process, had created a hole substantially larger than required for the junction box, a hole that would need to be patched at the end of the project. They ignored altogether another switch 8 inches away to which I would have preferred the new installation been ganged.
They were back the following week with the lighting, which they placed under three of the four cabinets and wired in. They would have to return to finish the job in a few days. The adhesive on the ribbon lighting was inadequate, and all of the ribbons were lying down on the countertop by the end of the day they were installed. When they returned to add the lighting under the fourth cabinet, they applied new adhesive to the ribbons previously installed and added tape until the adhesive was dry, informing me in the process that I could remove the tape after 24 hours. I did so, and the lighting has thus far remained in place. They returned a few days after that to install the junction box and switch, and came again yet a few days later to patch the wall.
The lighting itself was everything I had been led to expect. The installation, however, leaves much to be desired.
(1) There is a considerable amount of brown wiring running along the wall where it meets the underside of the cabinetst. It looks sloppy and unprofessional, despite my efforts to made it less noticable by painting it the color of the wall.
(2) Mr. Powers' attempt to patch the wall with a cheap wall patch "kit" resulted in a very uneven surface that was highly noticable when the LED lighting was turned on. I have tried to further smooth the area, but I think it probably needs the attention of someone skilled in drywall repair.
(3) The switch installed is white, while all other outlets, switches and switchplates in the kitchen are ivory. I had contact with Mr. Powers for a couple of months after the installation was"complete". He told me that he was having difficulty finding an appropriate switch in ivory, but assured me he ws still searching. I have heard nothing from him now in four months.
Re reliability, two of his scheduled appointments were postponed, one because he claimed he was having electrical problems with his truck and another because he said he had been up the entire night before working on an emergency job.
Steve came out to do the work. He was right on time, and did a good job. The price was half of his phone estimate, and he worked very quickly. He also saved me some money by fixing an outlet the right way, rather than another way.
