In March 2021 ordered a home generator. Delayed due to covid i was told still waiting in Oct 2022 always a reason why it not here. Now they just stopped answering the phones. They will not returned my calls and have stopped answering my calls for all three phone numbers i have for Green Light Electric out of San Antonio. May have to seek small claims court since they refuse respond to my voice messages if and when I do get through. Poor costumer service it seems.

After several pushbacks on delivery date (MAR 2022), they agreed to refund my $7000 in June. After several promises to send refund check, they have not refunded my money (OCT 22). They are unresponsive and take your money without delivering the product/service as contracted. They continuosly blame Generac for their failures. Avoid this company!

On repeated occasions, have left inquiries with no or delayed response from Greenlight Electric. Currently awaiting a reply on the purchase (May 2021) and installation (yet to be done) of a Generac Generator, but this business will not respond to my requests for an update. I don't understand why this is so. Update 2/2/2023 No Delivery/No installation 1. No Delivery of Generator: Generac.com Rep claims payment never received for payment of generator (Sep 2022). 2. Greenlight Electric claims delay - since May 2021 purchase, due to Generac backlog; Greenlight Electric owner, Jamaer Hopes, has encouraged my continuing to await delivery of Generac generator. 3. Legal Action Pursued: Pursing legal action to recover payment of over $7500 for Generator. 4. Suspension of Installation Contract: Pursuing Legal Action to set aside contractual installation of generator by Green Light Electric (if it ever arrives; I still have no delivery as of Oct 2022). This is unfortunate but, given the difficulties encountered since May 2021 purchase, I have have come to distrust this vendor. I will pursue compensatory damages as legally permitted. I, like others, have waited for seemingly endless days for a response from either Jamaer Hopes (owner) or his wife (Krystal) but have been repeatedly "ghosted." LEGAL ACTION IS MY FINAL RECOURSE.

"This is unfortunate considering the circumstances and the conversation I had with the customer. This has been addressed with the customer and every concern has been answered. We are not the manufacturer or the shipper. We are strictly the authorized dealer and electrical installer. We cannot complete our install until the generator is delivered and shipped by Generac. Generac is the one that is backlogged not our company. We want non other than to complete the install and make this customer happy. According to Generac the backlog is due to the high demand, amount of orders placed, parts, and shortages. They have not been able to manufacture them as quickly as the orders were placed. I did inform the customer of these issues before and I gave him an update on the generator order he placed. I also informed him on when expected shipping window. from Generac was."
