UPDATE: The Contractors State Licensing Board has ruled in OUR favor! Per CSLB: "The newly installed wood shakes (at flat section transition) were not installed properly. Water penetrates this location. Complaint item meets accepted trade standards: NO...." Feel free to look them up on the CSLB.ca.org website. The CSLB: "...we have forwarded our investigation to the Office of the Attorney General with a recommendation that a formal "accusation" be prepared itemizing charges and proposed action against the contractor's license. This is the most serious enforcement action available to CSLB."

BEWARE: IN OUR EXPERIENCE, THIS IS JUST A SALES COMPANY THAT SUB-CONTRACTS OUT. We had a new roof put on part of our home in June 2018, because it was old. Our new roof is now leaking. We notified them, they sent the roofer out, he put a tarp on our home until "the rain stopped." That was January 16, 2019. We still have a tarp on our home & our roof is still leaking. Furthermore, we now have water damage in our new family room, due to the roof leaking. We were told the company will be in touch...we are still waiting! We still have a leaking roof, a damaged family room, and they have yet to respond and get back to us as promised on January 16, 2019. Would we recommend this company? Absolutely not! If we could give them no stars or negative stars, we would. VERY unprofessional and CANNOT be trusted! OUR EXPERIENCE UPDATE: Tim H. "manager" showed up at our home 3/19/19 to assess what was going on & to find why roof is leaking. First thing out of his mouth is the attacks on our wood shake roof, even asked if we have insurance. Tim H. is obviously ignorant about the roofing industry. Then he proceeds to tell us, "problem is you need a whole new roof on this backside of the house. I don't know why this project was ever sold to you this way and I don't know why GL ever signed off on the project." We said, even if we believe you, who do you think is going to pay for that? Tim says, "well we will have to." I asked about our family room being redone and their process for that, and he says lets just handle one thing at a time. So, because he set the tone for this meeting with animosity from the moment he stepped into our home, I began with telling him like it is. Your company was hired to replace a roof. Your company failed to even complete the installation of shakes and complete the project. Your company is the sole cause for our roof looking. Your company is the sole cause as to why our family room has water damage. What are you going to do to install the roof correctly and repair our family room? And, when it is all said and done, you will be providing another minimum, of 1 year warranty for the installation, as it is yet to be installed properly, per the contract. He says, "I can't deal with you! You are so unreasonable. You can just deal with my attorneys!" So, because he can't handle a strong, educated woman, that he can't bully, he storms off like a 2 year old. So, I immediately called the owner, Shai A. and was told he was not available. When asked what this was in regards to, he magically became available after I was placed on hold. He took all of the information. We asked him if this is really the road he wanted to go down-attorneys and Contractors State License Board? He said, "give me 24 hours and I will get back to you." It's now Friday, 3/22/19 and we have heard nothing. I guess this is the road they have chosen. So be it. Will update as process continues. DO NOT LET THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY BULLY YOU. YOU HAVE RIGHTS AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE THEM MULTIPLE CHANCES TO "FIX" THEIR MISTAKES AND INCOMPETENCE. And yes, the tarp remains on our house....

I’m writing this review on behalf of my Mom in Anaheim, CA. She’s so excited about her new roof, but still doesn’t know how to use a computer to write it herself! She told me that she loved working with her salesman, Greg. He had been incredibly patient and informative when answering her questions, responsive to all phone calls and emails, and was just amazing throughout the entire process. Initially she was nervous and overwhelmed, not knowing what to expect. Greg had been thorough and detail-oriented when educating her about the features and benefits of the Owens Corning system. It went very well. Everybody working for Green Living are so nice, polite and helpful. Everybody who was sent out to do work at my house were always on time, polite, clean, thoughtful and kind. The people who would call to see how things were going were also so kind and helpful. Even the big guys would call or come over to see how things were going. Great experience!!! Highly recommend.

Tim the general managerwas easy to work with and gave us a great price for the entire job. Daniella the scheduler was in contact with us throughout the job. Robert the window installer was hard working , clean and efficient. Luis and the crew of painters made our home unrecognizable. The entire experience was a pleasure and the end results are amazing. Keeping my home cooler and more energy efficient. I would highly recommend Green living for friends and family.

Work was done in a timely manner and they did a great job. I would recommend the company.

This company could not have performed this project any better. From Kevin our first representative to Evelyn who communicated the entire time with us to the workers who were always on time and we're very clean and polite. We could not have asked for anything better. Oh and our home looks beautiful!!

The roof looks good! The materials used are all high quality (Owens Corning) and there is a lifetime guarantee on the work and materials. I am confident I won't be worried about any problems with the roof for a very long time. There were some issues with the teardown of the old roof which wasn't as clean as I was told it would be. Overall, the work looks good and should be highly considered.

Green Living is a company that provides SUPERIOR workmanship. As the neighbors observed them work, they would call me and say, "Wow, these guys are extremely attentive to the work and quality that they do." Salesmen Allan and David are EXCELLENT. If friends and clients are in need of some work done, I would call them up in a heartbeat! Green Living provided an Owens Corning Platinum Roofing System. They are a certified Owens Corning Platinum dealer. The entire roof was ripped off and replaced in a matter of 4-5 days. Green Living provided energy efficient windows by Simonton. Once you place the order for the windows, it takes about 3-4 weeks until it arrives. Installation only took 1-2 days. Mani and his crew took care of the exterior with brand new stucco, paint, and contemporary wood-siding. This took about 5 weeks. The house looks PHENOMENAL!

I am particularly impressed with the roof caps which enable ventillation that I never had before. Also, in place of the usual black paper under the tiles, a much more durable product is used. The workmen were the hardest working group I've ever seen and were a team. They picked up and cleaned up after themselves every day and came back after the project was done and make sure everything was perfect. On my flat roof, there was no usual hot mopping so nothing seeped thru to my family room. Another product is used in its place. I had a lot of wood damage under the 3 layers of roofing and this was shown to me and replaced. This is a 50 year roof and I feel confident in the product which is Owens Corning - and the workmanship.

Jeremy G was the sales rep but he stayed from start to finish.  They did a quick tear down of the old roof and a complete install of a new shingle roof.  Very happy customers, windows next!! <br>

The construction part went very smoothly and fast, we liked that the sales rep was there from start to finish and didn't leave once he made the sale.  I highly recommend Jeremy Guerra, he was professional and didn't try to sell us things we did not need.  They were careful with all my personal belongings and I appreciated that. <br>

Jeremy Guerra helped us with all of the repair needs we needed done to the apartment complex we manage. There were many different issues and he answered all of our questions and made sure everything was done to our expectation. He was great on follow up, and he made sure everything was done in the time we needed it done for inspection.

Jeremy Guerra was an amazing point of contact for us when looking for someone to answer all of our questions regarding the damage that our roof had that was in need of immediate quality repair. Our experience with Green Living was great. We had 30 year old windows and roof and we were looking to replace them. We looked at couple different contractors but didn't think we could afford it since we just bought our home. Jeremy Guerra came to give us an inspection and he made it very affordable for us. Windows and our roof look amazing it is exactly what we wanted. 

From start to finish I was very impressed.  The salesman went over everything in a thorough manner and explained all the details of what would happen, it really helped that he was bilingual and my husband could understand.  The job itself was performed in a timely and professional manner and was done in time for the holidays.  <br>
