INCREDIBLE! I really appreciated the candor from the team, they helped me save money by not over investing in subpar products or in areas that didn't need the investment. They also did a great job of being economical when asking that I increase the budget to allow for better paint, for example. Most importantly, the team worked quickly and responsively. We needed the area finished before new furniture arrived in time for thanksgiving. The teams arrived on time (early on some days) and worked efficiently to get the job done. I'm going to use them again when we paint our other areas. <br />

Rafael, the painter who came, was punctual and did a very nice job.  He carefully explained how he was going to accomplish the job since rain was forecast for later in the day.  We are pleased with his work and that he didn't splatter paint, a problem we've had with other painters.  Although we did have some issues with communication after we purchased the deal, because of phone and e mail problems that Green Painting was experiencing, when we did talk with Mr. Abel, the owner, he was very courteous and helpful. We did have to wait almost a month to get the job done, probably because Green Painting was swamped with Angie's List members who had purchased a deal, but we were not in a particular hurry,  We would consider using Green Painting again and would definitely use Rafael. <br />

I used the painters and that's it.  Abel was the owners name.  We told him that we weren't in a big rush but that we would like to have it done in a month or so.  We weren't real happy with the scheduling.  He forgot us.  He didn't show up on time.  They really don't have a clear system down for determining the price.  They quoted one price and like we wanted the hallway done from the bottom of the steps to the top.  Then we asked him about doing the ceiling to those areas and the package was 300 and some and to do the ceilings for the stair well and the ceiling where once you reach the top of the steps, it was like $900.  So of course we didn't do that.  I asked him about painting the ceiling in the bedroom and he said it would be $150.  So we just did the way up the stairs.  It took them a while once the men got there to figure out what they were going to do.  They would ask me if they wanted me to do something and then after I would answer they would have to call and talk to Abel about it.  He wrote down on a white piece of coffee paper what it was that he was doing and he quoted me all these different prices depending on what package I took, and I felt like he was constantly trying to get more and more money out of me.  That was the reason for going on Angie's List so that I wouldn't have to hassle about this.  His men came in and did a nice job and get paid and go away.  Then after everything was said and done they loaded up there stuff, oh and they kept telling me were going to have to do spackling and your going to spend another hundred dollars on spackling and I said, an extra hundred dollars?  Then they took a break to wait for the paint to dry to put a second coat on and I had them walk upstairs and a guy was painting up there, and I said oh, you didn't have to put the spackling up, uh no we have our methods, and I thought, well I guess if I hadn't walked upstairs he would have charged me for spackling. 

This was very easy to schedule, they were very responsive.  <br /> I was pleased that the walls were touched up and sanded prior to painting, I didn't realize how much they needed this. The overall finished product is great. <br />

Through Angie's list, I purchased a painting deal with Green Painting.  Abel contacted me to schedule the painting job; he was very polite and professional with all our communications.  On the scheduled date, he arrived on time, quickly set up, and completed the project with no delays.  In addition to painting the walls and molding, he needed to patch some sections of the wall.  Abel did a wonderful job and I am very happy with the results.  I must also mention that I was very impressed and delighted when Able showed me that he patched a small hole (caused by my son) in the bathroom nearby.  Abel patched the hole on his initiative and on his own dime.  <br />

It was great! The team was very nice, punctual and the work was really well done.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone! <br />

<p>The job was scheduled quickly, where the crew arrived on-time, and completed the work in a very professional manner. The painters also did an excellent job cleaning up after they finished. As a result, we are very happy with the results. The only problem was a miscommunication between Mr. Hernandez and I on the invoicing aspects of the job. After some additional communication we were able to address this issue as expected. Overall, I would use them again for future work and would recommend them to others in the future.</p> <br />

Clean, neat, excellent paint job. This was not a job for an amateur. I had a color I wanted mixed and they went first thing in the morning and got the sample I had matched perfectly. Very good experience! <br />

I never write reviews, however Green Painting and Carpentry deserve it. I am very fussy and have been known to sack contractors for doing a terrible job, or being late, I am also a Realtor for Sotheby's so I recognize good quality. Mr Hernandez was lovely on the phone, easy to book, the guys were great, they turned up on time, finished on time, cleaned up after themselves, didn't make a mess cleaning their brushes and did an outstanding painting job. They did 2 bedrooms and the staircase and it took 2 days. I highly recommend them and they will be back to paint the rest of the house soon and I will recommend them to my clients. Finding good workmanship is hard to find in this city and I am pleased to say, I have found good painters. <br />

They are excellent. Very cooperative, very quick service, very good paint, and a good job! I appreciate what they did. In the future I'm sure I will bring them back if I need anything.

The finished result was impeccable.  I couldn't be happier with how it looks.  The painters also did an excellent cleanup after they finished.  The only problem was a miscommunication between Mr. Hernandez and me. He and I originally agreed that his crew would do the work on August 18.  When nobody showed up, I phoned Mr. Hernandez, who told me he had moved me to August 19, saying he had left me a message to that effect earlier. I could find no such message in my e-mail or on my answering machine.  <br />

Abel and his crew came on time, and completed the job in professional manner and left everything looking good. Their price was also significantly better than competitors. Thank you Abel! <br />

The owner was prompt in returning calls and scheduling. <br /> <br />All documentation was provided at time of proposal.  Follow up was fast and efficient. <br /> <br />Workers showed up on time and were respectful of office workers. <br /> <br />The job was done neatly and completed on time.  Owner pooled his workers together to make sure that our job was completed on schedule without any inconvenience to us.  The work was completed totally to our satisfaction. <br /> <br />Owner went out of his way to not disrupt our schedule and to be careful with furniture and belongings. <br />

I have a townhouse rental that is between tenants and needed a fair amount of sprucing up.  I called Abel and asked for a quote for exterior painting and framing and hanging an exterior back door.  He sent me a quote within a day or so.  It was not the lowest bid, but it certainly was a very fair one and my experience is the lowest bid is often the one to avoid.  Also, based on my conversation with Abel, and his reviews, I had more confidence in him.   <br /> We agreed to meet at the townhouse at 8:30am and when I arrived he and his crew were already there.  We spoke for a few minutes about the job and then they got right to work.  Abel and  I had already agreed that some of the wood had been sufficiently damaged that it should be replaced with pvc material.  However, the previous evening I had discovered another piece around a basement window that was even worse and asked if he could replace that as well, which he did despite the short notice.  When the painting was done he showed me the paint he used and left me the remainder of one can, including the label on paint type, so that I could do any touch ups if needed or buy more.  He only asked an additional $50 for replacing the additional window framing.  <br /> The door was a little more problematic.  It was the same width as the existing frame, but slightly higher so his carpenter had to adjust the header and was able to do so while still making the molding around the door frame sufficiently long.  He also installed the locks from the old door.  I have done some of my own carpentry work in the past so I am somewhat familiar with this type of work and I was very happy with Abel's carpenter.  <br /> All in all, I was very pleased and would definitely used Green Painting and Carpentry again. <br />

Everything turned out good, and I would use them again in the future.

It went very well. There were three gentleman on the crew headed by Angel. Mr. Hernandez arrived with them on the first day and explained to Angel what needed to be done. They worked from 8-5:30 on the first day completing the bedroom and bathroom. They cleaned up everything and returned the furniture to the correct spots. They painted the den on the second day working from about 8:15-3:30. They were polite, respectful and professional. They worked the entire time and only broke for lunch. <br /> <br /> <br />I would definitely use them again. <br />

Abel and his team did an amazing job. I have hired him on 2-3 previous occasions to paint other rooms in my house and his work is always perfect.  They are very punctual and make sure the area in which they are working is spotless afterwards. They are also very trustworthy and I have no problem leaving them alone in the house to work.  A couple of my friends have also used Abel and that is how I got his name.  His pricing is very fair for the meticulous job he does. <br />

Quality of work was exceptional and speediness of work impressive. Respectful toward property- cleaned up each day. Very affordable and well worth the money spent preparting our home for sale.

Everything went great. He made sure everything was clean by not making any mess. Respected my things and did a great job overall. <br />
