Had to call them twice to come back and make it look half way decent. Sloppy workmanship.

I loved my patio and firepit until the poor installation workmanship showed through. The patio has sunk in several place causing water to pool up and start to discolor the product. The grout application they use only last for around a year before it starts to come out and looks terrible. I have reached out to the owner for months via call, emails and texts and have received a response. Would highly caution anyone to use this product.

Terrible, and nothing but problems since. Greenstone installed a flagstone patio for us on 2/13. At first things appeared to be fine, but soon after the sand didn’t harden and was extremely soft. We contacted Matt immediately regarding the issue. It took several phone calls, emails, and text before he came back out. Once he did, he confirmed that the sand shouldn’t be soft and that they would be back out to fix. When they came back in March, they had to pull the entire patio up and replace. Again the sand didn’t harden, and as we were staging the patio for furniture realized we had been shorted 10” of space that we had paid for. So, we contacted Matt again. It took several more weeks into April for him to come back out to look at the sand and the measurement. They again pulled the entire patio back up and replace, including giving us the 10” owed. Unfortunately, the sand is still soft and will not last long. Matt is a nice guy and we like what he is doing from a recycling standpoint, but his response time for warranty work is horrible. We went from Feb 13th – April 25th, and wasted our money on a quality patio. Matt said on numerous occasions that he would be back out to see how the patio was doing. It's been several weeks since reinstalling, and have yet to hear from him. Again, very poor response/customer service after install.

We had Greenstone install a new granite flagstone patio with granite fire pit and sitting wall. The Green team did an amazing job from design and to the end product. Their crews were so great, professional and nice! We are so happy with their work and are excited to use our new outdoor space this summer!

During the initial installation period of this project, team were friendly, professional, prompt and worked hard to address the project scope. The initial installation took a bit more than 3 weeks, but raining weather during March and April the patios in a negative manner, causing the pavers to collapse and sand joint compound to fall out. This was a huge project, where two patios were installed with an adjoining 58' walk way. The team ran into several hurdles where some of the work had to be removed and re-installed due to the effect rain had on the recent installation. This project was expected to take only a couple of weeks, but in reality is still going on, which has now extended beyond 2 months. The upper patio was to be installed over a drainage pipe that was shallowly buried under ground and during the installation, the pipe was either blocked or damage. This cause water to spill out and erupted through the middle of the upper patio when it rained hard a day after the installation. In addition, some areas of the upper patio has low spots which allow water to pool. The lower patio, had a drain installed, but during that same rainy day, clogged up the kitchen drain screen that was installed with mud and sand. This flooded the lower patio and the drain and decorative fire pit stones had to be removed temporarily. Although most of the water drained from the lower patio area, there were areas where the granite pavers were installed without the proper pitch/angle toward the drain which allowed standing water to remain. After discussing the issues with Matt and his team, they suggested the drainage pipe be replaced that ran under the upper patio and I agreed to cover the additional cost, which was quoted as $200. A day or so later, they excavated the dirt around the outside sitting wall of the lower patio and installed a plastic tarp to help reduce the potential of mud and dirt from entering the lower patio when it rained. They also replaced the drainage pipe and re-installed the pavers over the affected areas of the upper patio. Unfortunately, the day after the pavers were installed, it rain extremely hard again and the same issue developed in the middle of the upper patio. The rain has the same effect on the upper patio pavers which began to collapse again and cause a safety issue. As for the the lower patio, the tarp they installed did help reduce the amount of water entering the lower patio, up to a point, but the drain screen and pea gravel installed in the fire pit did not allow water to easily drain. I personally removed the drain screen and pea gravel from the fire pit in order to allow approximately 6 inches of water to drain from the area that day. Once most of the water drained from the lower patio, I went out and acquired an actually irrigation drain screen and larger river stones and installed them in the fire pit to allow for better drainage. I contacted Greenstone about the situation and after a bit of back and forth, Matt and his team agreed to work on addressing the numerous issues that have been identified. Now, this was an expensive project, where I had to find a way to compensate for a gap in the original scope and the resulting work effort. Not really happy with the scope reduction, as there has been approximately $3K in additional other materials and services that had to be absorbed on my part, which I reluctantly did. My main concern is that once payment had been received, the responsiveness of the provider dramatically reduced, where I can not seem to get the provider to focus on addressing the issues resulting from the work that they were contracted to perform. If payment had not been issued to the provider, I believe there would be a team of resources out working on my concerns everyday to satisfy the terms of the agreement we entered into. However, at this point there are a number of issues that still remain unresolved and the patios are not completed to my satisfaction, the upper more so than the lower one. See the current photos below: My review is based on the current state of this project, but I hope to continue to work with this provide in order to resolve the remaining issues. Once the concerns have been addressed, I will ask the review to be updated.

Matt and his team did an excellent job! They installed a stone patio for us and it all turned out beautifully! They were were punctual, finished in the time period stated, and completely cleaned up the work site! They were great to work with and made sure we were pleased with their work, and we definitely are!

Great company and products. We love our granite paver patio and granite fire pit!

Working with Matt and his crew at Greenstone was one of the greatest home project experiences we have ever had. Very easy to work with, great communication, and care about the project they were doing for us. We had them upgrade our existing plain concrete patio by expanding its size, overlaying with granite pavers and they also added in a seating wall with built in fire pit.

Matt at Greenstone did an excellent job with his team in our backyard. He was there to plan, give us ideas and best of all do more than we contracted for, just to make our vision come true. The team that he has were very good at what they did and consulted us at every stage to make any changes needed. I would recommend Greenstone to anyone that wants their backyard to become a dream oasis!!!

We absolutely love our granite fire pit and use it almost every evening! Simply put, we could not find a natural stone fire pit for anywhere close to this price. The granite is beautiful and the quality is unmatched. It is such a joy having friends over because everyone always ends up gathering around our fire pit. Everyone is blown away when I tell them the fire pit is made from recycled granite countertops! We are so happy with this purchase and love the outdoor family and friends time we get from it. For many years to come thank you Geenstone!

Greenstone did a granite paver patio and fire pit for us and it was a great experience from start to finish. From the initial conversations and folks working with us to design what we wanted, to finishing the actual project, Greenstone has done great work and has great customer service. Right after they started the project, we asked to make a change and they made it happen without any delays. Highly recommend!

Working with Greenstone was so easy and we love our new patio & fire pit area. If we had to make changes to the project they took them in stride. The granite pavers and granite fire pits beauty is unmatched and I love the fact that everything is made from recycled countertop scraps!

We used these guys for our back patio, and it looks insanely good. Highly recommend, and the owners are really awesome locals.
