Green Trees

The work done by Green Trees was again excellent. Had used them several times before and as always professional and a delight to work with.

Great, It was a strategic removal!

They did a good job. It was challenging because one of the limbs was over a power line and the neighbor's property. We chose them because they also took care of the trees with a deep fertilization. My only negative comments were that I never knew when they were showing up. They gave me a generalized timeframe of "next week sometime" and showed up when I had another commitment that I need to go to. The other item was that they damaged heads on our sprinkler system (we didn't find out about until they came on) and punched holes in the sprinkler lines when they fertilized (which they informed me about).

Work was completed very quickly and they did an excellent job

Did a great jobs pruning and cleaning up. had a few limbs let in the backyard but nothing major.

2 climbers arrived, surveyed the job, and got to work. They removed the limbs and carried them away. They were knowledgeable and efficient. I will recommend them and will hire them again.

<p>I called late on a Friday afternoon and left a message, I promptly received a call back Saturday and scheduled an appointment for Monday,  Jim came out on Monday, discussed what I was hoping to do, gave me a very fair quote and said he could get to it hopefully toward the end of the week.  He called on Thursday, said they could do the work on Friday.  Jim and his helper came early Friday and took care of everything.  They gave me a call an hour before they finished to give me an opportunity to come by and take and look to make sure they were doing everything I wanted.</p> <p>From the first call I made, everything was scheduled promptly.  I had large trees growing on a slope down to a creek behind my house. The limbs were taking over my yard and often falling over my wooden fence and on top of my trees.  Due to the size of the trees, the small area in which they had to work in, along with the slope, this was not an easy job.  They trimmed all limbs (and trees) exactly the way I needed, loaded and hauled all the debris away, leaving everything so neat you would never know they had been there.</p> <p>I couldn't have asked for a better job from beginning to end and highly recommend their services.  In a world where  pride in your work is getting harder to find, these guys are truly tops in customer satisfaction.</p> , <br />

I needed someone to cut several limbs from one of my large trees that were hanging over my neighbors property. I called and talked with James about getting the job done. He said he wasn't available until the next week but, would call then and come out to do the job. When he did call, he gave me an approximate time that he would be at my house so I could finish up at work and meet him. He and another crew member came out sized up the job and promptly started working. After all the limbs were cut and loaded onto a trailer, the entire area was raked and cleaned so that, aside from some saw dust, there were no debris left. I was very pleased with the work that was done. They were both friendly and professional and worked quickly. I will definitely recommend Green Trees to anyone needing tree work done and will call them again should I need more tree work done. <br />

Maggie showed up on time and got right to work on trimming up a holly tree.  She worked on the tree for the allotted time (2 hours) and then helped me out by contacting EPB to come and remove some brush they had left previously when they trimmed the tree.  Maggie was very pleasant to deal with, and she climbed the tree with no problems and worked in partial rainfall to make sure that the trimming was done.  A++ service!! <br />

Jim was great, punctual, professional and informative.  He'll be the one I go to if I ever need a tree cut.  Left us with nicely stacked wood for the winter. <br />

I was told a large tree needed to be cut down due to a fairly large hole in the trunk, but I hated to lose it.  I contacted Jim of Green Trees since he is an arborist and  thought he would better know, than someone who just cuts trees, if it was truly in danger of falling. <br /> Jim came the next day and explained how trees are able to seal their wounds and recommended  just trimming and taking some weight off one side  He returned a few days later to do the work and also trimmed a lot of dead wood and the lower limbs of a huge pin oak that was messy because it constantly dropped dead twigs. <br /> Jim knows what he's doing and I'm glad I called him instead of cutting down the beautiful sugar maple. <br />

Green Trees submitted the lowest of three bids for removing a tree that had fallen on my house. The work was performed completely, professionally, and expediently. Because of the precarious position of the tree and difficulty of working on the sloping yard, Jim Putnam recommended removing the tree "by hand," without the use of heavy equipment. That is what they did, and the job was accomplished without any additional damage to the house, and without tearing up the yard. In addition, the weather was terrible during the time while the tree was on the house, and when the first break in the weather happened on a weekend, that's when the work was done. I am completely satisfied with the tree removal, the clean up, and the minimal impact the work had on my yard. I would definitely call Green Trees again for tree removal or landscaping. <br />

John contacted us quickly and was on-time for our initial meeting.  He quickly determined a plan of action and we agreed to start as soon as the hardscaping that was being done in our yard was complete.  The weather turned frigid and snowy which delayed the hardscaping several times.  John checked in with us from time to time to see when he could begin and was courteous and patient when he had to wait.  When everything was a go, his Green Trees crew was on time and completed their work in a professional manner. <br />
