Sod Installation
?HORRIBLE absolutely horrible experience. I ordered TOP SOIL for half of my back yard so I could put down sod. What they delivered is mulch. When I addressed this with them they said ?no it?s not.? I said it is. The gardener is here and says it?s cheap mulch. The treatment I got from the office women there was astonishing and completely unprofessional. I was laughed at, told ?what would I know? I?m not a gardener?, told they would send me the receipt from their supplier to show it was top soil and when I said I don?t double that top soil was ordered, but what has been delivered is mulch they said just kept talking over me and saying no it wasn?t. So I took a sample down to Calloway?s they also confirmed it?s mulch and I also called the supplier directly with a video and picture of what I received and they said ?a mistake was made and that I indeed have mulch?. When I let Green View office staff know that it is fixable bc the supplier will fix the order , they flat out refused.

After reviewing the supplier receipts, photos of the material from the yard, and the on-site photos from our installation lead, we have confirmed that the material delivered and installed as you requested is indeed high-quality, nutrient-rich topsoil. This specific blend is rich in organic matter to ensure plant health, which can sometimes be mistaken for mulch by those unfamiliar with professional-grade soil blends. We have provided you with the official receipt from our supplier confirming that the order was fulfilled correctly. We understand you took an incomplete sample to a different vendor for an opinion; however, that vendor was not the supplier of this material and did not have the full product specifications or the origin of the soil. Our actual supplier has reviewed the photos of the installation and remains firm that the product provided and installed is the topsoil ordered. Our team has attempted to explain these technical details over the phone multiple times, though the conversations were unfortunately cut short. We stand by the accuracy of our work and the quality of the materials provided. If you wish to review the technical specs of the blend again, our office remains available."

This landscaping job went well. The crew had a job just getting the remanis of the tree stump and roots out, before planting the 6 shrubs. The clean up of the flower bed and bush area was quick and efficiently done. The bushes in the backyard were placed just as I wanted despite the challenge of tree roots. Having a clear path to the faucet from to sides is great. I am very pleased with the results of their work.

Greenview added a stone border around our flower bed. The process of creating the design, cost and scheduling was easy. Cody did a great job in answering our questions. Jose and the installers did a great job adding the stone and made sure the irrigation was working. The payment process was easy. We are very happy with the results and will look to use again for future landscape projects.

Recently I needed to replace some sod that had died because of shade and erosion. I also wanted to replace two tree rings that were broken and too small for the trees. I had other issues that needed to be addressed but I wasn’t sure how to go about it. Using Angi as a source, I contacted several landscapers by phone and/or email. A couple never responded. A couple did but had a minimum order needed to bid. One wanted to charge me to come out. One made an appointment but didn’t show up until later in the week. I finally had 3 legitimate offers. One was from Greenview Landscape. Specifically Cody Teuerle came out. In fact after I decided to go with Greenview, Cody made several trips to the house. While Greenview’s bid was not the lowest, it was competitive and I just liked the way they did business. Greenview uses their own employees and doesn’t outsource their work. I like that. I liked the professionalism, not only from Cody but from Laura and the office staff and Jose who was on-site. They were helpful and flexible when I wanted to make a change and made sure the sprinklers were all operating properly. They cleaned up every day. The yard looks great. I’ve already tentatively arranged for another project later in the year. I recommend Greenview Landscape without reservations.

5-star rating is for the ultimate output. After an initial hiccup with communication, we talked it out and it wasn't an issue again for the duration of the project. I was really pleased with the work of Jose (project manager), Juan Carlos (onsite manager) and the crew who worked late the day before a heavy rain was due to hit and got all of our sod laid out. They also identified an issue with the tree in my front yard and fixed it for me at no additional charge. The only negative I would call out is the lack of transparency in pricing (i.e. seeing the labor and materials broken out). I get there are going to be markups but by not being willing to disclose this after being asked almost caused me to go a different direction. It's not unreasonable to want to know how much the components of my project are (especially when it comes to making final decisions on what to include such as a specific bush or plant) and it left me with a taste of mistrust but I ultimately went with Greenview because it was so highly rated and I felt like they could do the job (which they did very well). This may very well be an industry standard but it needs to change.

I am very happy with Greenview Lawn and Landscape. They helped me design a wonderful backyard oasis which helped to correct the drainage issues I had with my home. The builder was less than generous when it came to landscaping and rainwater run-off. Cody Teuerle and crew are/were very responsive to my questions about my patio concept, plants, trees, and shrubs. They also constructed a beautiful 12X12 covered patio w/slab and a 12x12 artificial turf for my dogs! I had an idea for a raised flower bed for the front yard and I get many compliments on it! I use them for my weekly lawn maintenance needs. I highly recommend you consider this company for your landscaping and lawn needs.

We waited 30 years to completely redo our 1/2 acre backyard space. This project was to be a one-time chance to create my idea of a backyard oasis. The Greenview team went beyond my expectations. We have seldom worked with so many talented crews on any landscape project. All the stone-work patios, walkways & walls were created by a true artisan. They even added stairs to a landing for me! They dug French drains, prepped the soil, selected & planted bushes where needed, then finished off by replacing all the sod that died as a result of the 2-month process in the hottest July & August any of us can remember. The irrigation crew was just as knowledgeable & creative as all the rest. I cannot praise these people more highly. Can’t wait to enjoy our new space when the weather is cooler & the mosquitoes have gone away.

I cannot recommend this company enough. They all did fantastic work and were such a pleasure to work with. We did tree removal, new retaining walls, artificial turf, new sod, flowerbeds, river rock, new sprinklers, new fence, pool deck paint, and they reinstalled our existing deck railing that was about to fail (built by others). They turned a space we didn’t like into something we couldn’t be more proud of!!

Greenview's work is excellent. Their crews do a great job. They were timely and very easy to work with once the job began. We will certainly plan to work with them again in the future. There was a lack of communication in between signing the quote and scheduling the work though. It took us 2 weeks to get a response and get the work scheduled. However, once it was booked everything happened very quickly. They do great work!

Greenview did an amazing job. My front yard was badly eroded, and mostly dirt. The soil at the top of the yard was about 6 inches lower than it should have been. The dirt down near the sidewalk was too high from all the washout. I knew I needed soil brought in and the whole front yard regraded. I was really concerned about this being done correctly and without damaging the sprinklers. Greenview did an amazing job restoring the grade in the front yard and laying down new sod. I also had them replace a few sprinkler heads and nozzles and they made sure the system was working correctly after the sod was installed, no blockages, etc. They also replaced my front fence and built a board on board fence to match the HOA fence it was connected to. It looks amazing. All of this work was done in two days. Absolutely recommend this company.

I hired the Greenview team to add some plants to my front and back yards, extend my back porch, and add stone edging around the flower beds in the front. The stonework looks amazing, so much so that we added some to the back yard around my row of red tip bushes and a ring around the tree they planted in the front. Jose, the owner/manager, came out each day to make sure we agreed on what was being done and how the different pieces of the overall job were progressing. The 'business-side' of things was also handled promptly/professionally; there was a quote emailed to me for review and approval, there were options for payment when the job was completed, and invoices/receipts emailed to me for my records. I am completely satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend this team to anyone looking for landscaping work around their home.

We contracted with Greenview to level both front and back yards, replace all sod, remove two old tree stumps, plant a new tree, and construct a stone/paver walk way on one side of our house. The weather was not our friend during the process and there were a few hiccups. However, Jose and his crew went above and beyond. We are very pleased with our new landscaping and look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.
