They price he quoted, $800, was less than the actual cost by several thousand dollars. Took when week to complete job. Mike and Phil had a lot of conversations about the color of the paint. Always punctual. Communication between contractor and customer was very poor. He would forget what we spoke about. I was talking more to the painters to get the job done.

Room addition; Greg was responsive and resolved all issues raised. Greg is professional and respectful. I only gave a quality rating of B because I felt that the crew needed a little more closer oversight, I suggested this to Greg and he was receptive. The work was completed promptly, and I will definitely consider Greg for my future projects.

Greg did an excellent job in painting the interior of our house, with the colors we picked. We changed the entire color scheme and his workers were very dedicated in getting the job done right, including adding accent walls where we wanted. We have vaulted ceilings in a couple of rooms and are very pleased with the final project. We also had him paint a portion of the house outside that had begun to peel from a job done a couple of years by another painter. In the process of getting the small bath ready for painting, but not through Greg's fault, we had to replace the toilet and decided to change the flooring and vanity at that time also. Greg's team returned and completed this portion of the project also. We're very pleased with this project and will not hesitate to use Greg again.

The quality of the work was well done. Greg and Adam are very responsive. Adam does excellent work, and very fast once he had all the cabinets, etc. The thing folks need to know is that it takes a very long time to get cabinets custom ordered and to get granite selected and cut. Make sure you build this in. Overall I think this project took too long to complete (over two months), but the overall final product was really great.
I met with Greg several times before starting the project. He was clear and concise and provided a lot of design input. He was easy to work with and provided excellent documentation. Greg was flexible as we progressed throughout the project and was always available for questions.? He was onsite everyday during construction to guide his team.? The build out went on schedule as we had great weather. As changes were identified during construction any issues were brought to my attention immediately so that we could decide on what was the correct approach. Greg was challenged to find an old style of brick for the outside base of the extension but was able to locate it and get it installed. His team was meticulous in the outside design to match the character of my home.? Once painted you cannot tell that anything was added.? All aspects of the buildout was completed as per the contract and per the schedule.? I would definitely work with Greg again on any building or remodeling projects.

Greg did an excellent job on our entire master bathroom suite. He built a walk-in tile shower area, reconstructed the closet area to maximize space and re-built the toilet area to make a highly funtional and beautiful area.We have lived in the bathroom area for 2 plus years with no problems. The only issue we had was how long it took to complete. Part of the challange was the project was larger than originally scoped. We are completely satisfied with all of the work.

Greg had given us a quote for a refinished kitchen and to rebuild our old porch into a 4 seasons room. Greg's price was great, but we did not have the budget for all the hardware and appliances for new kitchen. So we decided to have our porch remodeled for 4 seasons room. Greg's quote was great and so we moved forward.

His group definitely ran into many snags that were not expected. Our porch was not built the greatest in the first place, so Greg's group had to overcome several difficulties with the remodeling. Greg's group consisted of many caring and professional carpenters and workers that spent a long time around my property and I felt very comfortable with all of them. They even made many accommodations for our family dog, who did not like all the construction, but everyone seemed to work around his situation.

All in all the final work was a total 180 from the original look. Our new 4 seasons room looks fantastic and we definitely love all the detailing and work that was put in. It did take a little longer than planned, and some parts of communication were difficult during some of the harder room transitions. However, with that being said, Greg does excellent work and we would definitely recommend his group for any remodeling job.

As from my story above, I would give this company less than an F. I am normally very tolerant of delays, etc. But now I feel I've been duped and am contacting Small Claims Court to recoup my money.

The reports that are on this service provider's account seemed to be from a company that he took over (Crew and Company) a company which was very good. Assuming the grades given to Crew and Company and applying them to Kearns seems misleading. .

"My crew finished up everything on the proposal except the roof repair area where there was found to be hidden damage which was originally unforeseen. The backdoor was repaired, sanded and ready for paint. I looked at the proposal that my guys brought in after the work was done and they said it was done according to the proposal. I went over and met Ms. Hicks at a later date and came to an agreement to do more work on the door and get up onto the roof and check the gutter to find out if there was more damage. That is when the problem of scheduling came into play as she was gone and she requested to be there and I tried to rearrange my schedule and it did not work out. She called me later and when business was at a complete standstill. As a small business I was working alone selling and working on jobs to pay bills. That is when the time factor became a problem with her and I am now in a position to renegotiate with her to finish her project. Greg Kerns-Owner"

Detailed quote in December and started within a week or two. Hadn't planned on painting job, but basement job went so well, we added the painting and that was done immediately. Winter weather delayed the outside work and that was completed in March. Every aspect of the combined job was done with excellence.

The experience has been great and I've used them before. The price was decent. I didn't get other quotes because I've used them before. They are really good and they sent the same guy that came before. I would use them again.

Unfortunately, it's been the worst experience I?ve ever had dealing with a company. My wife was home when they were painting thus I could not oversee their work. After they were done I went out to look at the work and thought they had just primed it, but they considered it finished. You can still see brown through the white paint, it is the wrong finish thus it looks like a primed surface not a finish coat, they painted all over the windows, they gouged the wood and caulking trying to fix their sloppy work, the spilt paint on our rock deck and timbers and made no attempt to clean it up. Honestly if we cant come to a satisfactory resolution a lawsuit will be our next form of action. As a surgeon, I?m expected to stand by my work when dealing with patients, and I expect the same from a company.

"When our estimator originally quoted the job the wife stated "not to worry about it because they are having the siding replaced". We still were reasonably careful with our painting. Our primary technican on site also has reviewed this job and on the week ending 11/7 he and the other technician completed the priming coat of paint and it took both of us all day just to put the prime coat on. I would think if at that point the job was sloppy or left messy Crew should have received a message from the home owner, but we didn't for a very long time. As for the windows, our estimator says that whoever went in there and caulked all those windows before we did any work there did a very substandard job and that when it was painted over, it probably doesn't look neat and clean but he said that he had talked to her about that as well and she was fine with it. Further, we resent our estimator back to investigate, and on our own we did reseal two of the windows for free, even though it was not due to our negligence. We went above and beyond and even went back and did work that we hadn't done originally. And if there is any painting on the exterior, we can look at that in the spring, but we were told that the siding was getting replaced, and not to worry about perfection on the painting. Eric"

They were very professional. They came out and did the estimate. It took them a little while to get things scheduled, but that was understandable. They did come promptly when they said they were going to come. I was satisfied with their work.

We were very pleased with Crew's work. They came promptly to look at the problem and give us an estimate. Brian, who came for the estimate, was especially knowledgeable and helpful. Even though they were unable to deal with one of our problems, we appreciated their follow-up in attempting to help us find someone who could complete the work.

Their price was approximately 1/3 of what two different plumbers estimated. They provided service the day after I called them. Arrived at the scheduled time. Left worksite clean.

They were very prompt on giving us an estimate and came when they said they would. Once we accepted the estimate we scheduled the work about 2 - 3 weeks out. Once again they were very prompt in coming when they said they would. Once the damaged paneling was removed they found they had to replace the studs and insulation behind the wall. This was not part of the original estimate but was understandable since they couldn't see the damage until they removed the paneling. The extra work was done at a very reasonable price. They ended up buying less paneling than they originally thought they would so they lowered the price accordingly. They were also willing and able to use some materials we already had (drywall and wood for the studs that needed replacing). They did most of the work the first day but had to come back a second day to do the painting and texture the ceiling. They tried texturing the ceiling the first day but the material they used didn't work out. But rather than leave it that way, they removed what they used and came back the next with something else which worked out just fine. They also cleaned up after the first day which means we could use the room that night and not have to worry about our cats getting into anything. The new wall and ceiling look great! Having our speaker wire above the ceiling looks a lot better also. They dropped the wire down from the ceiling as close as they could to where we wanted it. They couldn't put it exactly where we wanted it due to now the house was constructed. But we are very happy with the results and would have no problem working with them again.

The experience didn't go so good. I had to call them back, not once but several times. They responded real well, I mean, they were right there whenever I needed them. They didn't make the ceiling smooth; there were spots where it wasn't done well so they came back. I had one complete ceiling put up and then the other one was a patch job in the hallway. I had to call them back maybe three times to make it look right. But, other than that they were good. They were very responsive, if I had a complaint they were right there and came right out. Their price was also good. I would use them again in future if needed.

They were dependable and professional while they were at the house. They are very quick to respond as we had some problems with the chimney after the work was done, and they came right out to repair it. We are happy with the work and the results. I would use this company again in the future.

There was another company that was assigned to replace the gutters. When the foremen from the other company came out, they said that they were supposed to replace gutters only in the back part of the house. So, that's why I called Crew Property Improvement Specialists and then the head guy spoke to the gutter people from the other company. That's how the problem was sorted out. It was really nice to have people like them who would keep everything in an order and I really appreciated that. Overall they did a great job. There were a few little things about the other company that installed the gutters with which I wasn't happy. They put the ladder on the front part of the house as they thought that they were supposed to do only the back part. They were also walking all over my roof and I wondered as to why they had to do so. I think they didn't want the ladder to be on the back part while replacing the gutters. However, they were really professional and kind. They were a little confused on what the work order said, but that didn't matter, as they did good work. I would definitely use their services again in the future.
