Greg's Lawns

Initially I hired Greg to cut some trees in my back yard. He gave a fair price and did the work promptly so I also hired him to maintain my landscaping and to install some new landscaping. After he installed the new landscaping he simply disappeared. I could no longer get him to answer calls or texts and he stopped showing up to mow the lawn.

When I first hired Greg we got off to a bumpy start but as soon as I address my concerns and explained exactly what I want and expect Greg has come through. I have extensive landscaping and it is hard labor to maintain it. Greg has done a very good job and I had 2 prior landscapers before him, so far Greg has been the best and I intend to use his services for years to come.

It was a very disappointing and stressful experience! I had purchased a deal on August 9, 2016 through Angie's list for $163.00 for up to two hours of landscaping/yard clean-up. Coupon Code 915640378839. Two days went by and did not hear from them, so I call them to set a time. I was told that they would come to my house on Saturday, August 13 at 9:00 am. The time came and two hours later they were still a no show. I called during that time but no answer. At 2:00pm finally I received a call saying that they were trying to play catch-up with their other customers because of the weather the past week./. Also, he indicated that the deal was supposed to have been taken out by Angie's List. After some debating back and forth, the man said that he would come the next day (Sunday) and the the work. Needless is to say, no one ever showed up.

Our two properties were in need of a major clean up. After meeting with several lawn services I decided to go with Greg's Lawns. Greg did such an outstanding job that I hired him to do our monthly servicing. Greg's work is terrific and his pricing is very fair. He is extremely professional and his work is excellent. Greg is punctual and always gets the job done. I have had very bad experiences with lawn services in the past so I am delighted to have found Greg. I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

Greg was professional, courteous and polite right from the start! He did a great job edging with no damage to any sprinklers. Definitely pleased with his work and will use him regularly and will contact him in the future for his other services.

Greg was quick to respond to my request for an estimate. During our conversation I asked about a discount as being an Angies List member. Greg stated that his quote of $200 was actually a good deal for the work. I phoned and left a message the morning of the day Greg was to do the work. I wanted Greg to give me a call before he arrived since I may not be home. Greg stated that he did not get that message and when I arrived home to my surprise the work was already done. Greg did a very good job removing the tree and clearing the fence row which he said took an hour for him and his father. There was a pile left along the street which I would have preferred cleared as well. Once I viewed the Angies List offers I saw Greg had a $170 quote for up to two hours of yard cleaning.

Greg was a pleasure to deal with. He always picked up his phone and answered his text messages. His guy worked on a holiday week-end to get the job done on time. I haven't seen the finished project yet, but when i stopped by a few days ago, everything looked great already. My yard looked like a jungle before because no one took care of it for months. It had a lot of dead leaves, weeds and half dead trees. Greg cleaned everything up to perfection. We are now talking about planting some trees and bushes. Will be sending another review soon. So far he is excellent.

Lawn what Greg called a rough cut because it was quite long as it was overdue for a cut. He said it will look better after the next cut.

Greg was very professional and responsive.  Did not have to wait hours to receive a response to a text or phone call.   Communication was great.  

The price of the work done was very reasonable.

Was on time for the initial inspection and estimate, showed up on time to do the work and finished within said timeframe, even during horrible rainstorms. Have also contracted with him to do monthly yard maintenance. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for the type of services he provides. 

Greg was a professional from the first call! He came out, surveyed the job and his estimate was spot on! He was cordial and polite, but stuck to the scope and time frame he outlined. Definitely pleased with his work and will contact him in the future for his services.

Unfortunately it wasn't until after the sod was installed that we found out that my sprinkler system would not cover the entire area, so some of the newly installed sod is dying.  However Greg was ultra-responsible in terms working with the sprinkler system in place to get it to cover as much as possible, including adding additional sprinkler heads, redoing faulty piping, and keeping up to date with the process as it went along.  Greg's approach to solving a problem that was not his fault to begin with won me over. <br> <br>He has performed 2 cuts so far, and I can tell that he takes a very professional approach, taking the time to make sure he does a quality job.  This is a welcome change from my previous lawn maintenance company.  I will be using Greg's services on an ongoing basis, as I value good communication, professionalism and pride in one's work. <br> <br>

Greg was prompt, listened to what I wanted. He completed the job the day after he came out to give me an estimate. I will be referring him to my neighbors and I will be using him in the future.

Greg's Lawns did an outstanding job.  Our lawn and shrubs were in desperate need of attention and within just a few hours Greg worked his magic.   He was on time, courteous and he got the job done.   Having had very bad experiences in the past with lawn services  (our last service just stopped coming without notice and could not be reached), I was very pleased with Greg's professionalism.  I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a lawn service that is not only affordable but a company that takes pride in the job they do.

Excellent service! when I contacted this company, Greg came out right away to provide me with an estimate. He was very honest and reliable and performed a great and professional job. He took care of my lawn and trimmed the hedges and did it in a very timely manner and was also very cost effective. I will recommend his services  and will continue to use him in the future <br />

He did a wonderful job. The yard looked incredibly neat and tidy. All of the ficus were trimmed at an identical level. He took photos to demonstrate the work that was done and sent them after the service was rendered. When I initially called him, he came over and provided an estimate the same day. I am very, very happy with his service and will continue to use him in the future. His prices are fair and he is a helpful, accommodating worker. I can't say enough good things!
