Greg's Quality Painting

Greg's one of the good guys. I originally reached out to him for some painting, but quickly learned he's a man of many talents. I was preparing to place my house on the market and needed several things done and he was able to do just about all I requested - painting, deck work, trim work, dump runs, yard work, cleaning, etc. He also brought a lot of clever ideas to the table that helped save me money and did a fantastic job. The house sold well too! I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. Can't say enough good things about him and his crew. Thanks again, Greg.

Greg and his crew were great. What set him apart on the estimate was his attention to detail and his knowledge of paint (he wasn't pushy about what paint to use and gave us all the info we needed and lets you buy paint at cost). He was not only super quick to get everything scheduled, he managed to get us in a week after he finished the estimate and get it done in shorter time than others without sacrificing quality. Now we have a beautifully painted house. Will definitely call him again when we need more painting work.

Excellent. Greg and his crew came when they said they would, did a super thorough job, and made the exterior of the house look great. When they pressure washed the house, they also did the patios- what a difference that made! It looks absolutely terrific now.

Our 1923 cedar shingle house had a lot of deferred maintenance when we bought it. It had a dust-bowl-era farmhouse feel, with flaking and chipping white paint, exposed concrete foundation, broken porch railings, and unused wires that needed to be removed. Greg was great about consistent communication as they encountered challenges and decision points. It meant a lot to us to be included in the ongoing plan, especially when we requested extra grinding to take off more old paint and some construction to bolster the rickety porch. Sixto put in incredible work effort, with excellent judgement. We have a toddler and I appreciated that the crew worked on keeping the area clean and being mindful of hazards. Overall, our house was transformed and the price felt right.

fantastic work. this is 4th major job i've hired a professional painter for and Greg was as good or better than all of them as and very reasonably priced in comparison. thoughtful and communicative regarding BID and job as it got going. extremely professional, courteous hard workers under him. once job was started they powered through until complete and were as unobtrusive as one could hope for while doing the job. would recommend without hesitation.

Great. We just purchased a house built in 1944 that hadn't been professionally painted since it was built. The cabinets were a disaster inside, the closets were bare wood, the molding was two different colors. There was wood panelling in the family room. Greg's bid was by-far the most complete and accurate. He told me up front that this would be a complicated job requiring extensive patchwork (plaster) and multiple priming coats. Other bidders came in cheaper, but I'm now certain they underestimated the time it would take or the complexity. Greg was up front, he said it would take two weeks to do the job right, and he was spot on. He was even flexible when another contractor was unable to complete their work on time. The house looks amazing - it's like a totally new house after his team finished with it. I can't recommend him enough

I found Greg's Quality Painting to be extremely professional, skilled, and responsive. I could tell that Greg cares deeply about his work, and it really shows. From to his quick-turn inquiry response, to his thorough, in-person evaluation, to his ability to schedule in a fairly big 3-day job in less than 2 days - I was consistently impressed with his level of service. He listened to what I needed done (interior painting and repair of wall damage my tenants left me with), he shot video of the rooms for his own reference in order to prepare the quote, and he made helpful suggestions I didn't even consider (semi-gloss on the trim, and how to handle painted speaker covers). I really got the impression that providing quality work is his chief concern. I was so grateful for his willingness to work with my tight schedule, even when I had to add one more room to the work order after discovering more tenant damage there (holes and wall anchors). The job came out beautifully, his price was fair, and his friendliness and professionalism were top-notch. Highly recommended!

Greg was very professional and has good attention to detail. He was responsive in a timely fashion and finished the job on time. We are very happy with the results.

It was great. He has 2 crew members. The older one painted the inside of a townhouse rental. It looks great. He was professional and nice to deal with. Then he and a younger crew member just finished painting the outside of my house. They did a great job.

The job was very well done. Greg is easy to work with and does what he says he will do. He and his crew are very detail-conscious, so the finished job looks great. He has a good sense of color and helped us make smart color choices. This was the second time we have used Greg, and I am quite comfortable recommending him.

Started off good. Quote was on par with others and Greg seemed flexible enough to work with our schedule. Greg and his team showed up on time when they said they would. Greg's guys were efficient and the younger one was very nice. The quality of the work however, is another story. The corners have huge gaps, the seams are extremely visible in the crown and base, and the brush marks left all over the doors look terrible. It turns out the quote was for a sub-par job that only included one coat of paint on everything. This shocked me. Greg told us that had he known we wanted a "quality job," the quote would have been several thousand more. This was not communicated to us at all. I can't imagine many people call him up and ask for mediocre paint job. Greg said he was doing us a favor by helping us get back in our house quicker. Not sure how this logic works - we still need to add another coat of paint but now we have to do it ourselves. Definitely did not get us back in our house quicker. His guys had to come back to finish the job and I asked if they would add another coat of paint on the areas that needed it. Greg agreed. He sent the older man back and this guy was downright rude to us. The work he did on the stairwell is embarrassing. When we mentioned his behavior and lack of quality on the rest of the job, Greg told us we offended him by asking for a second coat and that's why he behaved the way he did. Not very professional. We ended up paying Greg what we owed him simply to get rid of him. We will redo their work ourselves. When our contractor saw the paint job, he remarked, "It looks ok for a rental." Sadly, our house is not a rental. To be fair, the walls they painted look good and were completed very quickly. But after seeing the quality of the painted woodwork and the rudeness of his workers, I would not hire this company again.

They were courteous and on time. Did exactly what he said he was gonna do and showed up when he said. He was expensive but you get what you pay for I guess.

It went very well and work was done as I would have done were I doing it myself, extensive prep, careful caulking then careful application and cutting in. Everyday, Greg's crew left the worksite tidy. They started early and finished on time. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent! Greg was kind enough to schedule our small interior paint job into his busy summer schedule. He was very accessible and responded to my questions in a timely manner. His crew did an excellent job. Showed up on schedule. Very impressed with quality of work. Would highly recommend.

Knocked it out as promised. Clean, professional, timely, and courteous. Not the cheapest game in town, but you get what you pay for.

I recently hired Greg's Quality Painting to paint the entire interior of my 2-story home. I think working with Greg and his team may have been the best experience with a contractor that I have ever had. Greg's team was thoroughly professional, courteous and nice. They went out of their way to accommodate us, and make the disruption to our lives as minimal as possible. They even went out of their way to make our dog as comfortable as possible, too. The paint job was flawless. We looked and looked, but we couldn't find any problems. We were delighted with the final results. Last, but not at all least, I solicited three professional bids for this job. Greg's estimate was substantially lower than the others. Greg is proof that sometimes, you get a lot more than you pay for. I highly recommend him, and would hire him again in an instant.

Greg was quick in responding to the initial emails and scheduled an estimate visit. He came exactly on time, asked what I wanted to do, and gave me his advice on what should be done. Of the five estimates that I had scheduled he was the only one to show up on time. Once I committed to hiring him he scheduled a time the next week to start the work. I met him in the morning, handed off the keys and a deposit, and it went well. I didn't get much communication from him while he was working but he completed the job within 4 days and the new paint looks great.

Gregg was responsive and committed to doing a good job. His painters were careful, respectful of our house and very hard working. Each day they cleaned any debris and left things organized and tidy.
