GREYSTONE INTERIORS
About us
Greystone Interiors was established in 1986 after a long relationship with a national decorating franchise. We chose our name from a large victorian home we owned in Pickerington, Ohio. When built in 1904 the home was named Greystone and had both Greystone and Welcome Friends laid in tile risers that approached from the street. We have since left our city home, and after a stint in a strip mall, finally settled in our country cottage in 1995. We are located on Lancaster Avenue in Reynoldsburg, Ohio just north of the five way intersection of SR 256, LivingstonAvenue, Slate Ridge and Graham Road. Our hours are 10AM to 5PM Monday thru Friday and 10AM to 3PM Saturday. We are also available by appointment. We have a wonderful boutique offering unique furniture, accessories, wall art, and cabinet displays. We also offer all types of custom window treatments, wall coverings, custom rugs and many other products and services to help decorate or remodel your home to suit your needs and personality.

"Thank you so much for your comments regarding our work in your home. Your baths are beautiful!! It was a pleasure and a lot of fun to do the work for with you. Looking forward to that kitchen! Thanks again for choosing us. Pat and Dale Jewell and the Greystone crew."
"It has taken a lot of thought to respond to the dispute with this customer for several reasons. The first is that our contract clearly states all work is guaranteed for one year, as is typical for all remodelers and builders. We completed this job in April of 2011. On August 28, 2012 I received an email that they had discovered a leak coming through the kitchen ceiling (16 months after completion). We sent a plumber out at our expense even though the warranty had expired. He could not find any pipes leaking and told the homeowner it must be the roof. All of this was by email and is documented. At this point all the emails mentioned was the leak. Apparently they had a roofer out a few times and his opinion it was not the roof. Only July 10, 2013 I received another email again asking us to send a plumber. Our plumber went out yet again and used a remote camera to look inside the wall. He did in fact see a leak coming from the old pipe in the wall. He apparently told the homeowner the tile would need to be removed for it to be repaired. According to the plumber there is no reason to believe it is pipes we installed and in fact, it if was, it would not have taken over a year to appear. This home was built in the 1800s and has undergone many remodels and changes as it relates to pluming and it common knowledge that pipes that old can take on leaks at any time. This is especially true when the plumbing had been under used or not used at all for periods of time as I believe was true in this case. The second reason is every time we have sent a plumber or other tradesman to this house, they have been subjected to constant ridicule of our company the entire time they are there. The plumber was quite uncomfortable when there. (See email) Thirdly these customers continue to add to their list as time goes on. As I said this job was completed in April of 2011. Now they have decided to try to hurt our reputation on Angies List. Are they even allowed to dispute or review two years after the job is completed? In closing, the fourth and final reason for my inability to deal with this customer through Angies List is that our contracts carry an arbitration clause that disputes that arise will be settled by arbitration."
