Griffin Granite Tile Marble

It was a bad experience. From the beginning I had a problem with the grout. It turned yellow and I kept calling and this woman said someone was coming but they never showed. I finally got a whole of them and they said they would come out and it was one more week and one more and they never came.  One of the brother’s barley speaks English. If they don’t fix it them I am screwed. So if I can stop from getting screwed that is good. It has been horrible and he was like the worsts.

They did great. They had everything done within the time frame they had described.

Job went poorly due to who was assigned to our job. It was a female.  The younger male office person was the reason that we stayed with them through the job. <br />

Job was finished on time and the workmanship was excellent.  Very nice people to work with. <br />

Estimator, the gentleman that did the measuring, the instrallers were all excellent. The installers in particular were very professional, neat and curtious. They cleaned up as they worked. I was extremely satisfied. The only glitch was scheduling. They changed dates and times twice which caused me some problems.

This is the second time I have used them.  They do everything you committed to on time and cleaned up afterwards.  Would highly recommend them

Sales representative (Eddi) took us to three granite yards where we selected material. Also selected sink and faucet.Installers arrived promptly and installed/removed countertops, etc. Cleaned area as well upon leaving.Granite was cut perfectly and polished beautifully.We have received several favorable comments from neighbors who have viewed improvement. <br />

The entire crew at Griffin Granite is amazing.  We have had a lot of work done by them, floors and counters.  Every single employee we met, as well as management, are unfailingly polite, professional, prompt and efficient.  They provide very high quality work for a reasonable price.   We are incredibly happy with our tile floors and granite counters with backsplashes.  We have recommended them to several friends, who are also happy with the work done.

Wow!  We were SO very impressed with Owner Mario and the crew that he assigned to our project!!  Punctual, detailed, courteous, tidy, both in appearance and in painting materials/equipment and always genuinely happy to be doing the work even if the wallpaper removal was more of a hassle than we all expected. <br /> Mario was great to work with as all of our appointments were arranged by phone or email.  We live out-of-state and needed to have very specific windows of time for his visits to our condo for the estimate and then for the work itself and he was very accommodating to work with us based on our needs.  Mario was the first one to the job on day one, visited our unit throughout the work and the last one to leave at the end of the project after a final walk through where he was even pickier than we were on the smallest of details that we might never have seen or knew needed to be corrected. <br /> He's a good businessman who obviously only hires the best painters who he clearly values for their skills and work habits and cares for them accordingly.  We cannot recommend Mario and Year Round Painting any more highly and we do and strongly suggest anyone needing painting consider using him/his company.   <br />

Marsha and Eddie at Griffin Granite were very professional in every way.  Workers were prompt and did excellent work. <br /> They did such good work on the tile in the bathroom that we also had them do the countertops.  We also hired them to replace carpeting in our condo.  Work was great, pricing was fair.  We would hire them again. <br />

Rick was very punctual, helped pick our tile, and had his crew on time to begin the project.  His pricing was very competitive and his quality ratings were very high in Angie's List (that's how I picked him).   <br /> We were in a hurry as we are having renters come in.  He completed all of the work in 5 days and 2 days earlier than he said it would be done!  Because of the excellent workmanship on the floor and the time created by finishing early, I had him complete a subway tile backsplash for the kitchen which also turned out beautifully. <br /> Throughout the process, he was always accessible and always professional.  He had some wonderful and practical suggestions that made our project turn out even better than what we expected.  Including adding a stain fighter to our grout, found the tile we actually used for out floors (and had it delivered within 24 hours), and made some suggestions on how to configure our subway tile that made it more attractive. <br /> Overall, we could not be happier with how the project turned out and would use them again. <br />

They were phenomenal. The woman that came brought tile samples that I could choose from. They did a really good job and the tiles look gorgeous. Their price was really reasonable as well.

Price was reasonable.  Did excellent quality work.  Had some difficulties getting them back to complete work after an inspection delay.  Also, they also kept hounding me for money before it was due per the agreement terms which was annoying and makes you wonder if your warranty is good with such tight cash concerns.  But, in the end, they came thru and did excellent work so I would definitely consider using them again.

I was pleased that even though we did not have  a job that meet the requirements of the Angie's List coupon, they did cut the price of the sink in half when we mentioned the coupon. 

When I let them know there was a problem it was fixed with no problem but did not show up on the first day as they where suppose to

Overall, the experience went well.  Rick and Marcia were very receptive to a quick turnaround in installation.  The time-frame from start to finish was nine days, starting with the selection of the granite, templating, fabrication, and installation.  During this time, I became aware of some excess stone.  The granite was used to install in a second bathroom.  Additional measurements and fabrication was completed during this time frame.

For most of the project, I was out of state so I was was pleased when I returned to view the end result.

We had recently purchased a condo which needed a total facelift.  We called Griffin Granite into the picture when the new cabinets had been installed and were ready for countertops and backsplash tile.  We have nothing but high praise for the results and the incredibly timely way the work was completed.  We met with Rick, the owner, on a Tuesday morning at the condo.  He gave us a ‘close ballpark’ estimate on the countertop replacement.  We gave him the go ahead, and what a day we had:  his template guys were there in 3 hours, he then met us at a granite warehouse later in the afternoon so we could select the sheets we wanted, we then followed him back to his office where we selected a tumbled marble tile for the backsplash, and signed the contract.  All in one day!  The countertops were installed just 6 days later on Monday and were a perfect fit---Griffin made a great effort to minimize seams to just those by the sink.  In those 6 days before the granite was installed,  tile guys came over to do the back hallway floor and the day after the granite came, the backsplash specialist came and did his job over the next three days.  The diagonal backsplash turned out great and we have the highest respect for the tiler's workmanship and attention to detail.  Throughout the process, Rick came to the job to personally check the progress and to make sure that we were satisfied.

I found Rick here on Angie's list and gave him a call to do our floors.  He did the kitchen and later I had him come back to do the bathrooms.  We were so pleased I called him to do all the granite work in the condo.  He had us go and pick the granite we liked.  We had a huge selection at reasonable rates.  He did a bar area in the kitchen and all the counter space in the kitchen.  He matched the back splash and tiled the bar.  He did both bathrooms in granite and a dressing room.  I like Rick because he is very reasonable in price and he stays in constant contact with you.   He would send me pictures, Emails, text and call to keep me updated.  This was very reassuring when I'm over 1,000 miles away from the project.  I would use him again and highly recommend him.  I hardly ever make recommendations, but this is one guy that is worth my time to write this down. 

  This company was very responsive to our needs and kept us informed as to what was going on. If something came up they lets us know ASAP. They were first rate and completed our job a day early. They put our counter tops in first and we were very happy. The tile we choose was a special order and we had to wait for delivery, but they told us upfront  so we knew. They scheduled the tile install and started the day that was scheduled. We had a 20 inch tile installed on a diaginal and it looks great. I was very pleased with the cuts that they had to make. The only thing that I was no real pleased with was a the end of the day things could have been a little cleaner, but we are sort of clean freaks. I would tell anyone to give them a call. <br />

I contacted Rick from Angie's list. I had quotes from general contractors for this job, but all they did was inflate the cost. Rick came in at a great price. He worked with me until I was happy with the tile. All this while I was in Indiana and this job was being done in Florida. Rick was quick with the quotes and even quicker getting the job done. He sent me pictures on my phone of the progress. He was easy to get on his phone anytime I had a question. It didn't matter if it was after five o'clock. We got to the condo a couple of weeks after it was finished. It is beautiful. He is now doing more for me. I will comment on it when it is done. I'm sure it will be great. I highly recommend Rick.

They did a very good job, and they worked with me on the price.  They were negotiable.  The guy that was here working didn't speak in English, so it was hard to communicate.

Unlike most contractors in this area, Griffin was on time and was extremely flexible in how they accomplished the work.  Numerous times they had to stop work and return later in order to accommodate other trades.  Never any hesitation in accommodating our needs.  Rick Texiera (owner) is very customer focused and the rest of his employees demonstrate the same attitude.

After searching for a granite contractor that I could trust for for over 2 months, I found top rated Griffin Granite Tile marble on Angieslist.com I called Rick, the owner, on his cell phone (239-821-0084) and he was at my house within one hour to discuss my project. We met him at the granite warehouse to select our exact slap & tagged it. Once the cabinets were installed, I notified Rick & his crew made a final template measurement on 1/26/2011 in the AM then they did the install on 1/28/2011. I went with a black granite, a full 3cm thick, with a Full Bullnose edge, under-mount sink, back splashes & new window sill plate. These guys are the absolute best, very competitive on price, very prompt & willing to work weekends and most of all VERY TRUSTWORTHY! Ask for RICK, the owner, 239-821-0084 (mobile). We are going to have him do our tile floors throughout the house this summer.
