Grout Works of Central NJ is owner run and operated. We are part of a national franchise that started the industry 20 years ago and is the exclusive preferred vendor for Hilton hotels and their affiliates for this type of work. We make your kitchen, bath, showers, and floors look brand new and stay that way without the mess and price of replacing tiles. Usually it just takes one day. We offer a 10 year warranty on residential floors.
Services we offer
Grout & Natural Stone. Grout Cleaning & Sealing to prevent staining. We regrout showers & repair missing or cracked grout and can change the color of existing grout. We remove mold and restore showers from water damage. Finally, We Specialize in Tile, we offer natural stone restoration. We remove imperfections from marble & other stones & polish it to a high sheen or "matte" finish. We offer an array of concrete & epoxy floor finishes. Complete tile installation available.

David came with a worker to the house On Time. They were very careful to cover things near the work area. <br /> They did an outstanding job. The Marble looks better than when it was brand new. <br /> They also cleaned the Grout and sealed it in the kitchen. They used a seal with a color that really made the Grout blend beautifully into the Tile floor. Initially, I had thought their price was a bit steep but after seeing their work it was worth every cent.

Grout Works was courteous and professional and a pleasure to deal with. They explained the different options and prices to me in a clear, easy to understand way. David responded to my call immediately. He asked to come to assess area since the price covered an allotted square feet and did not cover additional decorative tile. David first arrived promptly to look over tile and said my area was covered and he would include my small corner tiles. We agreed on date and time for work to be done. When he arrived promptly with a helper they put towels down outside perimeter so that area would not get damaged. I was hoping for a brighter restoration in the groove pattern of the tile. To be honest, the tile is 15 years old. This did not happen. The grout did look cleaner. He did not apply sealant as he said I didn't need it and it wouldn't do me any good. Overall, it felt like my floor got washed well, but after a week there was a brownish film left from the solution. I really liked David and his professionalism and desire to please the customer, but I don't think I would do it again. <br />

"It was a pleasure working for [member name removed]. There were a couple spots on 3 tiles in one area that would not come out. I suspect that some of the finish of the tile may have worn down. I have never heard from anyone or have seen our cleaning solution leaving a film. It is not a "soapy" type of cleaner that leaves residue and we mop and towel dry after cleaning. I did not see a week later what Marianne saw to comment on it as she never informed me of any concern."

David is very nice, but the work was sub-par. Much of the work was not done by David, but by an employee. The work was sloppy with grout/ caulk far beyond the area of work, requiring more extensive retouching of the paint. The are still some visible gaps in the grout. To his credit, David did come back to fix most of the problems, but I would not hire him again. <br />

"I personally will do whatever is necessary to make my customers happy. I respond to any call backs received immediately. In this situation I wrote a punch list with whatever issues customer had, and personally resolved it to their liking. I was surprised to see this review and reached out to them if there was anything else they would like me to do for them. I also feel, with all due respect, that their review in general did not accurately portray our work. Overall I think we made their bathroom floors and showers look beautiful. I specifically beforehand expressed a potential issue with getting sealer on the paint and was told that it does not matter because the painter is coming afterward any way to re-paint. There were some touch ups necessary but with this kind of detailed work this can occur from time to time and I came back promptly to do those touch ups."

Owner and 2 helpers arrived and set to work cleaning. <br /> after the whole area was cleaned, they applied the sealant to the grout. Sealant was colored to the color you want - Bone / Antique white / etc. <br /> did a good job and it has held up after weekly cleaning over the past 3 months - no issue with color or anything.

David was on time and proved to be very professional and pleasant to work with. The work was completed in the promised time frame and my floor looks exceptional. We are extremely satisfied with Grout Works and would recommend them to anyone interested in color sealing their floors for an everlasting brand new look ! <br />
