Mostly very good. They have certified arborists and do know how to shape trees and not just "cut" them. Accordingly, they are pricier. They also are good at explaining why certain things should or should not be done in order to keep the tree optimally healty. The only issue I had concerned a tree that they planted. I didn't receive instructions on how to care for the tree at the time it was planted. When I called about that, they apologized and said they forgot to give them to the workman for me and emailed them instead. That was fine. However, the description on the instructions of what the tree planting should look like when it was finished didn't match my tree. I inquired about that and they apologized and said that the workman was new to the company and hadn't yet been trained in how Grover expected things to be done. They said an arborist would come by to check it out and make sure everything was correct. That never happened. Unfortunately, at that time I had so many household issues that needed attention that I never was able to follow up on the query. But, other than that, they have been reliable.

They did an excellent job. Arrived on time and worked efficiently from start to finish.

We were very satisfied with their service. They were about half as much as other tree services. I'll give them A all the way down.

They came out and gave an estimate for the work and scheduled the appointment for the end of May, they called on 4/2/14 and said that they had an opening and offered to bump up my appointment; I agreed and they showed up by their scheduled time. They were very personable and professional, did the work quickly and followed my wants in how to shape the trees; they also gave some knowledgeable advice on trimming certain limbs to avoid future issues. They even trimmed a few dead limbs out of another tree that was not part of the original estimate. All in all I am very satisfied with the experience. <br />

They did an excellent job of trimming and were very skilled; they did an artful job with my big old oaks and pines. They weren't very good about cleaning up.

They arrived on time, did an excellent job and were gone fast efficient and exactly as planned. They completely removed two very large trees and NOTHING in my yard was disturbed or damaged. I would definitely use them again if needed and I would highly recommend them. <br />

They were punctual. They cleaned up after themselves. Very quick and very professional. It takes some serious work to trim the very large olive tree we have. it encroaches on the power lines and we like to trim it back from them. They have all the tools and equipment needed. <br />

Called for estimate and an appointment was made at my convenience. The estimator, Jeremy McCombs, was on time and very professional and knowledgeable. We were able to schedule the removals and trimming promptly (again, at my time schedule) and the crew that arrived (there were 4 of them, 2 trucks, Foreman was Miguel Panjoja), were on time and ready to work. They were hardworking, efficient and completed the job in the time estimated. All of the crew members were very pleasant and professional to work with. Excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone. <br />

Matthew Long arrived for the appointment on time. I walked him throughout the property describing the work which needed to be done. After reviewing the several proposals from other companies I chose Grover to performed the work. The crew arrived on time, completed the work requested, and cleaned-up after the work was done. <br />

I had taken-up some pavers and stacked them off to the side to be out of the way of their equipment. The worker saw that and took-up more pavers at another location in the yard and stacked them next to the pavers I had moved. I was very pleased that the pavers were not broken. <br /> The workers were mindful of the other things in and around the yard. I thought they worked efficiently and completed the job thoroughly, along with a very good clean-up. <br />

Okay, so Phase One is completed as of this writing. <br /> I called on a Wednesday for an estimate, late in the afternoon. By Friday, the arborist had been by the house. Silly me to omit one letter of my e-mail address, or I would have had the estimate via e-mail on Friday. <br /> No problem, a written estimate was in the mail on Monday. <br /> With the help of Angie's list members comments, and a few word of mouth comments from some of my customers, I accepted the proposal. <br /> Since I was at work when the crew arrived, my neighbors commented they weren't too loud and appeared to be very skilled. <br /> I arrived home from work and everything was finished. The yard was totally cleaned up, both front and back. <br /> One unstated concern I had was the mess that would be left in the pool after dragging tree limbs around the house to the front. I was very happy to see that I had less than a handful in the pool. Now weather they cleaned up the floaters, or not I'm not sure. But I was very happy with the outcome. <br /> As Phase Two is completed, I'll update this as necessary. <br />

They were really nice people; they were very pleasant. They were very accommodating; they talked to me. I could ask them questions. They gave me little tips and stuff. They were really reasonably priced. They did a good job. They asked me if I wanted my chips or not, and they told me that people pay big money to buy them. They were really nice people about it.

They arrived right on time and completed service in a quality manner. They injected the trunks of our trees to treat the aphids. They trimmed all excess branches from two trees and removed two other trees, including stump removal the following day. They also cleaned up all debris and left the area in pristine condition. I would use them again. <br />

They were fine and good. They came in and the cleaned up. They were neat and tidy as they took out the entire dead tree and all the limbs and took it with them away. They did a good clean up. I had used them once before for a similar thing several years ago. The price was fair.

Surprisingly they were the lowest of three quotes. Work was performed timely and by a very good crew. I was very impressed as to how this went, as access to one of the large trees was difficult. There was no damage to two structures just a few feet away.

Their bid was very comparable to other places. They where here when they said they would be. The work was done nicely. I actually chose them because they were arborists. We actually changed what we were going to do after talking to them.

They are top notch. They are professional and show up on time. They do what they say they will do and that is a rare thing these days. They are not cheap.

They are very good for tree service. They are one of the people who would work with pruned trees.

My experience was good. They showed up in a timely manner, it was scheduled a little farther out, but it was not a big deal. They showed, they did their job and cleaned up. I was very concerned, that they might drop branches on my house and they were very careful. I think I might have found a better price on it, but the quality couldn't be better. I think that's the upper end what I paid, but I am happy, because I know that they are bonded and they are insured. I got most of it from their comments online, about their company. I felt very secured about their insurance and background. I was very pleased with everything and I will use them in future. I recommend them to everyone. Besides Angies List, there was another person in the area, who had a gigantic tree, he was very concerned about it and they trimmed it for him. He was the one who referred me to them.
