The work was done quickly, professionally and to my expectations. The house was cleaned up at the end of each day so that we did not have to live in a mess. Would highly recommend.

Great! G R Scantling had me text them a photo of the ceiling damage, they gave me an estimate and we set up an appointment for the repair. Joey and Nick (brothers) arrived promptly, repaired the hole with perfectionism and cleaned up the mess afterward! Not only did they take pride in their work, but they were very friendly. Couldn't be happier.

It went great. They identified the problem and quickly and efficiently solved and repaired a problem that had been worrying me for a couple of years. GOOD Guys.

G R Scantling Drywall & Framing were very responsive from the start, calling me weekly to check on the status of my project to schedule the hangers as quickly as possible. They set up the drywall order for me, which I called in to completed (their supplier saved me about $40 over Lowes for XP Purple board). The job was completed in two days (one day hanging, one day tape and mud), was done professionally and well. Super nice guys to boot. Would not think about using anyone for drywall in this area.

Nick and Joe did a very professional job. You can tell they have many years of experience working with sheetrock. They were very helpful, as well, offering many valuable suggestions regarding our renovation project. We highly recommend this company.

Timely, called to let us know when he would be here for estimates and to do the work.  Very professional.  I can say that when our painter came in to prime the garage he said the work was very professional.  They are very conscientious.

The initial meeting was set for 7 August 2015 at 8:30 AM. George arrived promptly on time. He was very professional and  explained  his plan of action.  He contacted me a few days later with his estimates for the two jobs and I felt the estimates were very reasonable so the first job was scheduled for August 14th. George and his team arrived on time and  and proceeded to set about prepping the area, and replaced the damaged material, tape, mud and cleaned the area leaving no dust, and bits of ceiling material from the floor.  George said that he would be back the next morning to finish the job by sanding down the joints. He arrived the next morning at the time specified and finish the sanding, perform clean up and then set up the job for the kitchen ceiling. We scheduled the job for Friday Sept. 11th.  2015  at 9 AM.  As I had come to expect, George and his team arrived at 8:45 AM,  and proceed to prep the damaged ceiling for repair. Both jobs were excellent and very professionally done.  I would use George and his company again due to the professionalism and the work that they provide. <br />

George was not only prompt but early each time. He called promptly with estimates. The crew was very nice and kept area clean while they worked. The room looks great. I already have plans to do repair work in the rest of the house. <br />

I recently moved in to a house with a partially finished attic.  Most of the mechanical was done correctly but when it came to finishing drywall etc I think a blind monkey that had to much coffee was let loose. I had done some patching taping and mudding but when it came time to get a finished look I was in over my head.  <br /> George showed up right on time for the estimate. We looked at my situation and as politely as he could he told me what needed to be done. Not wanting to tear everything out we came up with a good solution. Get the seams a straight as possible, smooth and correct the mistakes I had made. There were weird beams coming through the walls at a couple corners. I had metal edged them and did some mudding as best I could. Now they look like beams, nice.  <br /> The crew showed up Monday morning. He expected a couple guys and 5 showed. In a couple hours they were done. First coat of drywall mud and spackle  taped edged and pretty close to smooth.  <br /> Day 2 one guy came back to do the finish touchup and sanding. He did dry sanding instead of wet. There's a reason i mention this. Dry sanding in very dusty. With the work under their new work they felt this was best. a few hours and he was done.  <br /> Here was the only hiccup. A cleanup crew was supposed to show up later the second day. Miscommunication or whatever no one showed.  George did come by to check the work and when I told him no clean up crew had been there you should have seen his face. Shock and panic. We went up stairs checked the work that had been done and George was on his phone going down the driveway. 8 Am the next day George's number one guy was there and cleaned that 20 x 20 room for 4 hours. Wiped everything down and on his hands and knees vacuumed every inch of the floor to minimize any dust being tracked. Impressive <br /> I think how you deal with a problem when it pops up shows how truly professional you are. I am writing this review from my new studio loft that George and his crews made happen. <br /> Thanks for everything George, great work <br /> Oh yeah I gave him a B on price but if you calculate the working man hours it was actually a fair price. <br />

<p>George showed up on time and was very pleasant to work with.  The bad drywall tape was removed and replace.  Job took longer than expected, but we are pleased with the results.</p> <br />

We hired Mr. Scantling and his crew to redo the drywall on a floor to ceiling fireplace and rebuild a half wall previously done by an incompetent contractor and to repair/replace bulging splayed corner seams throughout the house. I was very nervous because we'd had such a bad experience with the previous contractor but Mr. Scantling and his men did excellent work and were very efficient. They finished the whole job in just under two days while being considerate of our schedules (my husband works from home). They didn't mind answering all my questions and were a very congenial crew. But the best part (for me) was that they truly did clean up after the job. This was one of the cleanest home repair/remodeling jobs we've had done in quite a while. I am happy to recommend this company and would use them again.

Mr. Scantling was extremely prompt and professional during all correspondence, setting up the repair date in a timely manner. Upon arrival, he and his teammate made an assessment of the damage and accurately estimated time to repair it. They immediately set upon the task and did a great job making the repaired section match the rest of the room, which included "textured" walls. Mr. Scantling then gave me a rough cost estimate for additional repairs throughout the house.  I will definitely be using Scantling Drywall and Framing for my future jobs.

In general, I was pretty satisfied, they came punctually, explained what they were doing at each step (there's a number of steps where they were just waiting for 'mud' or paint to dry to they'd come back the following day), and the final product was seamless.  I couldn't tell where they had painted and it looked brand new. <br /> Unfortunately, and I'm not sure what has caused this, but two months later, where they repaired our ceiling cracked along the lines where they did their repairs.  So, I will be calling them to see what they can do about it, if anything.
