Speedy Angeles Concrete did a fantastic job, great crew!!

Pad for lawn statue went well. Leveling area beneath garage door, i.e., sill, didn't go as I had hoped. I originally felt grinding-down high area was best solution, but Contractor tried applying a leveling grout, which didn't solve problem. The grout began to crumble when vehicle was driven over it after letting it harden for several days. Attempted to reach Contractor several times via phone and text message to see if problem with sill leveling could be corrected, but no response.

They arrived early & went straight to work. They moved sprinklers that were hugging my old 10x10 patio and had forms up in no time. I have to admit I was a little scared after the initial pour. Did not realize how cement is worked & worked. Needless to say I am thrilled to now have a roomier, nice looking patio. Most definitely two thumbs up!!!

We had some language issues getting things scheduled but once we got past that we were very happy with the outcome. They are extremely fast. Once we said go, the project was done in a week. Prep looked good and they didn't skimp on the concrete. Finish and cleanup was great. Would definitely use again for a similar project. <br />

Things went well. I had had trouble getting anyone out to do this job.  Everyone I had contacted before said it was "too small" of a job.  Speedy Concrete didn't hesitate. He even came back at 11:15 p.m. the night the concrete was poured to cover my porch, when a rainstorm came out of no where!! <br /> Most of the cost on this project was the railing system cost. I was excited to see that a concrete truck actually delivered my concrete.  A number of other contractors said, it was so small a job, they would have to just mix it on their own. <br />

When I called them they were quick to get back to me and come out for a free estimate. <br /> The owner made sure to work with me directly to start the project and also came to check on the progress his crew was making during the day that they were pouring the drive. I felt like he had solid communication and wanted to provide good service. <br /> He kept to his initial quote of $2800.00 and was happy to do a final walk through with me to make sure everything was to my liking. I thought they did a good job with the work and got it done quickly. <br /> The only reason I gave them a "B" for quality was due to some of the concrete work near my irrigation box chipping away and resting of my AC unit on the concrete before it was done curing. <br /> The drive addition looks great and has been working well for my large work truck. I would use them again and recommend their work. <br />

They were great to work with.  I called and he came out to do an estimate the next day.  A couple days later and after a couple more higher priced bids, I made the call to go with them.  They were able to come out the next week and to pour the slab.  They showed up earlier than they thought to do the work and stayed until everything was set and done.  In all, they were at home from 10am to 630pm.  They were constantly working and answered all my questions throughout the process. <br />

Excellent. We weren't sure when the pre-pour building inspections would be complete, but they said "just call, they come quickly."  Inspection completed at 1pm, we called, and they were here to pour at 3pm, and finished by 6pm. Same day. <br /> Also, best price of 3 quotes and a very hard working crew.  They also had the right equipment, including a motorized cart to transport the concrete from the delivery truck to each of the 4 bases required. Saved me from having to pay for a concrete snorkel pump. <br /> If I need concrete work, I call them. <br />

Alex came by, checked out the scope of the work, and provided a cost estimate. We decided to enlarge the patio and asked for a special trim around the edges. The patio is beautiful! The curbing looks great! However, the repairs look like repairs which is a bit disappointing.  <br /> Alex and his crew arrived as scheduled. They worked relentlessly on the patio, the repairs, and the step which they were able to complete in one day. The curbing was done a day earlier. The price remained true to the estimate provided. Overall we are happy with the results and will definitely call Speedy Angeles Concrete again.   <br />   <br /> <br />

They did a very good job. They were priced very competitively. They had to haul out the old sidewalk and replace it. They finished the project in the time frame I was given. Fernado was great!

<p>Overall I am very pleased with the job done.  He said he would have it finished by the end of the day 7/17 and that is what he did.</p> <p>The workmanship appears to be excellent.  My only complaint, is that they could have done a little better job of cleanup.  Don't misinterpret what I'm saying, they did a 95% job of cleanup.  I spent about 45 minutes picking rocks and concrete chips out of my lawn.  They had time to do it but didn't..  As I said I would hire them again.  Overall very pleased.  With a little better cleanup, I would give them a 100%.   </p> <br />

<p>I have previously had Alex and his crew install a patio in the backyard, and thought he did a great job then.  They extended our driveway through to the backyard and patio, installed safety barriers, drains and a ramp.  They did a wonderful job, were prompt, professional, and not overpriced.  I would recommend them to anyone.</p> <br />

It went excellent.  They showed up on time.  They did their work.  They're very professional and quick within the estimate.  They did exactly what they were supposed to do and made sure we were happy.

After checking Angie's List and realizing that Speedy Angeles was top-rated, I called for an estimate. Owner Alex Angeles arrived the next day and presented an estimate that matched on-line concrete patio estimators.  Alex pointed out that he should chip away some existing concrete to more professionally tie the new concrete into the exsting concrete. Two days later Alex and his crew arrived in the morning, set the forms, chipped some concrete with an impact drill, and were pouring concrete by 11am. There was some minor cleanup needed the next day, handled with a metal rake and a flat shovel, not worth calling Alex back for. I would rehire Speedy Angeles and recommend them to friends. <br />

Removed sod and soils to prep area.  Compacted and installed rock base.  Trenched drain pipe for gutter. Part of large slab was broom finished and the rest colored stamped pad.  Weather delayed pour but owner kept me informed of his plan.  Cement finish is spectacular and we hope to have many years of great use from it.

I received an estimate and ask when the work could be done.  Was told the following Monday.  The Crew arrived mid morning prepared the area for concrete.  There was damage to a water line and an electrical line, and each were repaired even though it was unavoidable because of the conditions.  The area was prepared after removing various other items that were in their way.  The surface was graded to a 4" thickness and compacted.  The concrete was place the same day and the finish was as I specified.  I was a construction engineer and inspector for over 30 years and this crew worked hard and provided a quality of work that could be put up against larger contractors and is better that some. <br />

Alex provided an on-the-spot quote, and within a week, the crew was there. They removed the old walk, carted away the debris, formed up the walk, compacted the surface, poured and smoothed the concrete.  There were done in five hours. It looks great. <br />
