WE HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH GUARDIAN! Our situation was somewhat unique in that we purchased an older home with extra awful water! We called Guardian; Jeff and Ryan came out, tested our water and helped us get the absolute best customized water softener system. And truly, we now have the best water! Not only am I beyond pleased with the quality of water we now have but with their customer service and care is AMAZING!! A couple months after our system was installed we had a few questions and they have been so good to answer all our questions and make sure we are taken care of. In all honesty, if I ever moved and had to purchase a water softener again I would 100% use Guardian again!

The whole process was amazing! Jeff was very professional and educated me very well on my area and water and what system I needed for my situation and then just a couple of days later they came over and installed it quickly and I was good to go. Great company, great people, great price, and I would recommend them to anyone needing a water softener or reverse osmosis water filtration system.

Ryan from guardian arrived on time answered all our questions, he was very professional and knowledgeable, his pricing was way better than other company because they are family business. We signed up with him and next day he install the water softener and reverse osmosis himself , we are very please with our system. Thanks to Ryan and his company guardian.

When they brought the new unit and started to unbox things, I noticed the unit wasn't the one I agreed to in the write up. He said right away that I was right and he was wrong. They corrected the issue, got the correct unit and installed it. It has worked wonderfully and better than it ever has since I've lived here. <br /> <br /> I then called them at a later date and asked them to come back to work on the reverse osmosis system. They never got back to me and totally ignored my request. In all fairness to them, they didn't install the reverse osmosis system.

I thought it would be only fair to say that the reverse osmosis system was not our product but I fixed it for you none the less. Then when you went out of town and came back you said the system wasn't working at all. There wasn't any water at all. Again we spent our time walking you through some of the troubleshooting. Come to find out you had turned the water off completely and forgot to turn it back on. For this our customer gives us a B rating on a product that wasn't ours and a mistake made by the customer. We try out best and no matter how hard that may be, sometimes it just isn't enough. But thats how the ball bounces and we just smile and know we are still trying our best."

I cannot say enough good about Guardian. I met with 4 different providers, and Guardian was the most thorough, courteous, an (this may sound weird) calm. The Guardian quote was almost half the average of the other 3 vendors and they took the time to actually walk through the instillation area and identify everything that needed to be done so that there were no "gotchas" when it came to install. Installation was lightning fast, I called to give the green-light and they were on site the next morning with an hour and a half ETA, all said and done there were no surprises and I think that they finished 3 minutes early...LOL. All in all you cannot go wrong with Guardian.

We needed a new water softener system and decided to call Guardian Soft water after reading the positive reviews on Angie's list. In talking with Jeff (the owner), he was very knowledgeable and informative on soft water and softener equipment and didn't use a high pressure sales pitch. Jeff educates his customers with knowledge on how soft water system works and the various equipment solutions available; he doesn't slam other competitors products and logically explains why he recommends the equipment he uses. We decided to move forward with an installation and scheduled it for the same day. Jeff's son arrived a bit early and ready to install the system He tested our water for hardness and then discussed with us our home water needs / usage to come up with the ideal needed capacity rated system for our home. The softener was installed in about an hour. Overall, we're very pleased with how smooth everything went and the great value and service that Guardian provided us. Based on our positive experience, we have no reservation in recommending Guardian Soft Water to others.

We liked that he has a lifetime warranty on his water softeners and so far it has worked very well. There were two things we were disappointed with: one was that he spilled some water on our carpet in the process of uninstalling our old water softener. Also, he did not take the old water softener with him, but just left it standing behind our house. Later in the day I found it there and called him about it. He said he doesn't remove the old water softeners for his customers anymore, unless we wanted to pay him a fee to dispose of it. To me it seemed a given that he would take the old water softener with him, and I wish he would have notified us of this beforehand. We do not own a truck and it is still standing in our garage. <br />

I have a large home in Lindon Utah that I rent to a wonderful family since my job relocated me to Washington State. I was told that the water softener I had in the home started leaking and was not working. I needed it fixed fast and I could not get away to go there myself. I am the kind that needs to research ALL before I spend a lot of money on anything and I really didn't have the time to sort this all out and get it fixed right. <br /> I have never used Angie's List and thought this is the right time to try it. Angie's List didn't work at first so I thought I had been duped. I was't finding more than 1 or 2 marginal water softener companies in Lindon, UT, yet the add from Angies list that sucked me in stated that their were 34 good companies and 59 bad ones! So I called Angie's list to give them what for and a bad review. The customer service rep helped me sort out how to view companies in a different state and all of a sudden I had 36 companies and reviews. <br /> Guardian Soft Water had a lot of reviews and was rated A. I called them first and Jeff answered. I have been around the block a few times and know a dodgy sales pitch when I hear it. Jeff was not a dodgy sales man. He took a half hour or better to educate me on water softeners. I of course had already scanned the internet had loaded myself up with as much tech data and product knowledge as you can get from reading sales pitches and glowing reviews from the companies trying to sell you their services and products. By the time Jeff was finished telling me about the water softener he prefers and why as well as explaining the workings and options of water softeners, I was in. Jeff could install the new unit quickly and the very next day. I checked with my tenants and they allowed me to schedule the appointment. Jeff showed up on time with a couple of options he had recommended depending on how hard the water was at the house. The price was more than fair, (I had researched the product he recommended, so I knew how much the water softener cost retail) and he gave me a 5% Angie's List discount on top. He then fixed a couple of leaks in the plumbing, for FREE!! I knew about these leaks and asked him if he could look at them. This is the kind of guy Jeff is. He will take the time to explain what might be needed, why and he will do what he states. I 100% believe that he cares about the customer and cares about doing the best job posible, using the best product available, not the cheapest product that looks good and he can buy cheap and sell high. <br /> It is tough to get good service these days. It is hard to find someone who knows what they are doing and knows their product and is willing to take the time to tell you about it. So many companies are just trying to take care of their business and not yours and my concerns. I really know that I got more than I bargained for from Guardian Soft Water, Jeff and Angie's List. <br /> My water softener breaking cost my $1,600 and I got a great product and great service to resolve the issue. I am happy it broke. <br />

This was my first experience with a service provider on Angie's List. I must say, my subscription price has already turned out to be worth what I paid for it many times over! We recently moved to North Salt Lake, Utah from Texas. We soon discovered the water here is EXTREMELY hard to say the least! The combination of the hard water and extremely dry air in the Valley soon led to my wife and I nearly clawing our skin off we itched so badly! After at least three salesmen knocked on our door trying to "rent" us water softening equipment, I decided to do some research through Angie's List. Everything good you read about Jeff Smith (Owner of Guardian Soft Water) and his son is absolutely, 100% true! We called Ray the evening of 11/04, and he met with us the next afternoon. After a great education on his excellent equipment, testing our water and NO hard sell, we were sold. Ray had the equipment we needed in his vehicle. Now THAT is confidence in what you are selling! His son was here the next day to complete the installation. In only a few hours, he was finished installing both the water softening system and the reverse osmosis drinking water system we purchased. We now enjoy velvety soft showers, softer, non-itchy skin, soft towels/sheets/clothes, silkiery hair, sparkling dishes and glassware and spotless glass shower doors! We also no longer need to buy bottled water! Both Jeff and his son were friendly, punctual, extremely knowledable, well versed in their products and totally professional in their demeanor. I was amazed to get both of these great sytems for far less money than I expected. We are nearing retirement, and fully expect this system to outlast us! If you are in the market for these products, look no further than Guardian Soft Water! You'll be glad you did! <br />

He just came back now and there wasn't any problem to get him to come out and change the water filter on it. He is really efficient and nice. My previous service providers kept breaking appointments so I called him and it's a much better purifier and much better service. It was so worth the switch! I recommend you call him, you won't be sorry!
