Excellent. The 100-year old home consists of an upper unit and a lower unit. Each unit has its own challenges. Buddy did the inspection and we were very pleased with his thoroughness and attention to detail. He is very easy to work with and has a great deal of knowledge about the quirks of older homes. We learned a lot about the house from him. Highest recommendation.

Looks like a 1st grader wrote this report. Never use a company that your Realtor recommends. The report told us nothing nor did he test the things he should have. He said he did not test the plumbing because he was told it had a leak. HELLO that is your job! Where was the leak? Could have told us that since we paid you to look for it. We bought the house same day ran the water to find it leaking from the second floor into our first floor kitchen! I am so upset. Found out today that the A/C return air has no filter in it. Found out electrical is all bad!!!!! What did this guy do? The inspectors name is Warren Amedio. I spent over $1150.00 for a ******** inspection report. BUYERS BEWARE! Bad Company that works for the Real Estate Company. Lesson learned! Hope you don't get goat roped by them.

We got what we paid for. The inspector was prompt and provided plenty of explanation of his findings, which was greatly appreciated. When we initially received the report, it did not include the repair estimates we had requested. I called and they corrected the mistake with about 48-hours turn-around. There were other small errors in the report, i.e., it reported the dishwasher was in good shape- we don't have a dishwasher. <br /> It was when I went to follow-up on the inspection with estimates from other service providers the actual trouble began. The roofer told us that the roof issues the inspector reported were nonexistent. Then the plumber said that the one error he pointed out was "the least of our worries" and other major issues in the same bathroom were obvious.  <br /> I wish I had waited and paid for a top of the line inspection, it would probably have been more accurate. As it is, I am now paying each trade to conduct additional inspections because I cannot trust the results of the one I have. <br />

The engineer was on time for our appointment.  <br /> Now for the bad part of the review: <br /> When I called to schedule the report, the lady on the phone said that the report would take 2-3 days to be written. The gentleman who did the inspection said it would take a week. After two weeks I had not heard from them so I called them to see when they expected it to be done. They said it would be done that afternoon. I had not received it by the next morning, so I called again and was again told that I would get it by the end of the day. The next morning (Wednesday), I told them that if I didn't have it by Friday I would just take my money back. I did not hear back from them again. Tuesday morning I showed up and they quickly cut me a refund check for $495. <br /> The guy who prints the refund check was very polite, fast and efficient. Maybe he should be in charge of getting the reports written. <br />

Michael Gurtler was prompt, professional and efficient.  His recommendations were all on point and provided a roadmap to properly and safely cooling/heating the home.  Especially helpful with cost-effective ways to accomplish the goals.  Excellent. <br />

Great. Gurtler Bros is very thorough and provided a top to bottom/inside outside inspection on my new home. They also provide estimated cost ranges for remediation. Apart from helping me save over $15,000 the inspection gave me confidence that I am not buying a liability. Well worth the $. <br />

They came up with an entire design to get loft safe. The design came out fantastic. They came to check on people that I hired to make sure they were doing everything was right. They were always there. They made me feel safe and comfortable. They were there from the beginning to the absolute end.

The engineer came on time and was extremely knowledgable and very professional. We were very happy with the inspection, but we rated the company as a B because he was supposed to email us the final report within two days and took more than two weeks. <br /> During those two weeks, we have called them and they would say that we would have it the following day, or by the end of the week... but nothing. Couple of times we have called and left voicemails and have never received a phone call back. <br /> Finally, we told them that if we were not going to receive the report, we wanted our money back, so by the end of the day, it got sent. <br /> It was a pitty that we had such a hard time to get our report, because we were very happy with the engineer that came to our house... <br />
