It was great! Gustavo answered my phone call promptly and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He got to my house within the time schedule. In about 1 hour he diagnostic and repair my dryer. It was all done! I am very happy about it...Thanks.

Had been having issues with my refrigerator not staying cold. Used a different repairman the first time, and regretted it soon after when the same issue happened again. I called GVC and made an appointment with Gus. I loved that he showed up when he said he would(which isn't always the case.) The issue was diagnosed within minutes of arrival, and we set a timeline for the repair. Gus followed through on the repairs, and now our refrigerator is back to normal. Kudos to Gus for being punctual, and highly professional. I would not hesitate to give them my future business. Thanks GVC!

Gus <br />Was very knowledgeable in the work and unit,provide a detail itemized of what he was checking,ordered parts for unit and set up a return date to install new parts. <br />The cost was well below of what I thought it would be and knew the refridge would be repaired properly. <br />I would high recommend him to others. <br />

Called him and he was literally here within 20 minutes.  Fixed it on the spot.  Worth every penny having somebody that had the parts to fix it the same day without a return visit.  Perhaps i was lucky that he was available, close by and had the right parts but the way things usually go with any kind of repair..it was a nice change.   <br /> He was courteous, and professional.  A plus rating from me.

Gus did a fine job repairing my ice maker.  He brought a plastic mat to ensure the fridge didn't scratch up my wood floors when he rolled it out.  Quick response time from my first call to when the work was done.  I will use him again and recommend him to others.

Gus was able to diagnose and fix the refrigerator during the same initial visit.

Called GVC this morning because my dryer was not working and Gus called me right back and scheduled an appointment for this afternoon. Thankfully he had the part on his van to fix my dryer and was able to repair it. Same day service! Can't get any better than that! Gus was very polite, and finished the job quickly and effectively. I will definitely recommend him.

This man was very friendly but not overly talkative.  There's not a lot of "details" to report.  He came, he fixed, he left.  What can I say.  Don't be afraid to hire this guy.

It went very well and was repaired within a day or so. The installer ordered the parts and made the repair the next day. It required one more return call because I was unable to be home at the time of the repair...my fault. I would highly recommend this Repair Company and will definitely use them as my "go to for appliance repair" contact.

Gus came in and found the issues in both our appliances and fixed them quickly.  He was very professional. Both our washer and dryer and now working beautifully!!!

He arrived on time and proceeded to understand the challenge. The took the time to evaluate before starting to disassemble my hood. He took care not to damage the stove below and my hood above. He removed the rodent, cleaned the motor and put everything back and ensured all worked properly.

Gus knew right away what the problem was.. He told us how much it's gonna cost and how long it would take to fix it since he had to order the parts. He came over as soon he received the parts and installed it. His work also has a 90 days guarantee which is good since our freezer didn't work properly the day after he left. He came back and fixed it with no extra charge! I'd definitely recommend him and use him again!

Gus gave us a 2-hour time frame and showed up when he said he would.  He was prompt in his diagnosis, and even brought a spare motor to diagnose if that was the problem. (It was.)   He had a great balance of professionalism and friendliness - and speed!  Gus took less than half an hour to diagnose, completely disassemble, and repair our dryer.  He cleaned it up and even remembered to turn on the gas valve and place the tech sheet back inside the top of the dryer. (Which I had turned off and removed before he even arrived.)  It's clear that he has a lot of experience and stands behind his work, and I would recommend him to anyone. <br />

11.12.14 GVC came out to look at a few of my appliances.  They tried to "McGyver" a part on my microwave which made it worse.  Now vent flap flops open every time I open the microwave door.  Awesome.  New part needed to be ordered and I paid up front for it.  Total cost $278.11. Was told part would be in within the next two weeks.  Hopefully it would be fixed before the holidays?!?   <br /> Called and left messages without a response from GVC. <br /> 12.30.14 Called again and finally spoke with Gus who said the part had arrived damaged and will call me back the following week when the new part arrived. <br /> 01.12.15 I left a  message inquiring about the part. <br /> 01.13.15 I called and spoke to Gus who said the part was now on back order and wouldn't arrive until the end of the week or the beginning of the following week. <br /> 01.26.15 I left a message inquiring about the part. <br /> 01.28.15 I called and spoke with Gus who said the part would be in on 01.30.15 and will call to schedule an appointment for install the same day if possible. <br /> 01.31.15 I left a message inquiring about the part.  I said if this wasn't resolved I wanted my money back. <br /> 02.02.15 I called and spoke with Gus who said the part was in and would install in the afternoon.  He came and installed in less than five minutes and said he was done.  My husband looked at it and the part was not securely in place.  Gus then spent another fifteen to twenty minutes installing the part.  He blamed his employee for not ordering the correct part.  He left the trash and old part for us to clean up.  He was fairly rude while leaving our house.  <br /> To be fair the employee that initially came out didn't charge me to look at a couple of my appliances that hadn't worked but worked fine during the call.  However, this hardly makes up for the completely inadequate follow up service that you get with GVC.

I have a 48" 532 Sub Zero that is 26 years old and the freezer stopped working and the refrigerator was getting warmer. the rest of the refrigerator is in pristine condition. I had two technicians come out to inspect the unit. The first charged $98.00 and told me it would be $2,200 to repair only the freezer or I should just go out and purchase a new Sub Zero at a cost of over $12,000.00. The second inspection determined the problem was only the freezer compressor and I needed a refrigerator temperature controller. However, he wouldn't do the complicated repair. I purchased the two parts he suggested and proceeded to call around for someone to replace these components and recharge the system. After speaking to 6 companies and researching 12 more that had mixed or poor reviews, only two were capable of doing the repairs. One couldn't come out for a week and my conversation with him was less than reassuring. Gus at GVC Appliance Repairs came out the very next day. He was more competitive than the others and was the most helpful on the phone. He and Greg showed up on time, verified the problem, and corrected it as they promised. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Everything is working as I hoped for and in the end I saved not only $11,000.00 for a new unit but I didn't have to extract a built in refrigerator from the kitchen. I would recommend them to anyone needing a fair and professional service performed on any of their appliances. I feel fortunate to have found them after experiencing the marketplace for this kind of repair.  <br /> <br />
