Getting Kevin Gwin to perform a repair using his life time warranty is useless. He makes promises to come out on a date he provides and then he never shows up. He will not give you a phone call, no text msg, etc., he just does not show up. When you contact him about not showing up, he will give another date to perform the repair. He won't show up for that date either. DO NOT use this guy.

Do not use Gwin's Gutter Service. 2 men and a truck operation. After installation, 3 leaks were discovered and reported to Kevin. Kevin responded immediately and state he would be fix the leaks next week. Next came and went... no voice mail or txt msgs from Kevin. I have been bugging Kevin for over 3 week now, with a lot of promises to fix the leaks, but they never show up. You will hear a lot of excuses and other jobs have priority, etc. Do NOT use Gwin's Gutter service.

I am very happy with the service provided by Gwin's Gutter Service.  I have a number of pine trees next to my house which results in tons of pine needles getting caught in my gutters.  Gwin's provided the best quote which also included cleaning out all the pine needles currently in my gutters as well as installing the Rhino gutter guards.  These gutter guards are working great now and I can tell because there are pine needles all over my yard and drive way now; which is way better than having them stuck in my gutters.  I will say that the only issue I had with Gwin's is that they seemed very busy and not very quick to get back to me on returning my phone calls.  I completely understand that it is a very busy time for them, but even a courtesy call every now and then to make sure I hadn't been forgotten would have been nice.  But even with that very small issue I am very pleased with them and would not hesitate to use them again or even to recommend them to my friends and family.  <br />

Kevin was great. I called and got an estimate almost immediately. We agreed to start the following day even though I would not be present. I returned home to great work but had a miscommunication as to how I wanted the downspout. The crew returned the next day and fixed the location. I'm very skeptical of contractors but I would and have recommend them to others. <br />

I called Gwin's Gutter services to provide an estimate for repairing one section of gutter that fell down during the ice storms of the late winter/early spring. I also called two other companies in order to comparison shop. Kevin arrived at the time we set and was very professional and personable. Like the other companies, he offered to repair the section, but also suggested that the house could benefit from new gutters as the existing ones were the vinyl-DIY type. I was leaning toward this path anyway, and asked for an estimate. His estimate was on par with the others I received, except that it did not offer the gutter protection for the entire house. When I mentioned this, he was quick to match their cost. Because he seemed honest and personable, I went with him. We agreed to replace all the gutters, install rhino-guard, and reroute some of the downspouts. <br /> We scheduled a time for two weeks out to accommodate his work schedule, which was fine with me. The first time fell through, and I was unable to be at home when the work was performed on the second scheduled time. The gutters looked great, but I had some concerns with the job. First, the old gutters were left in a pile in my back yard. Second, the downspouts did not connect to the terra cotta pipes, so the water dumped right next to the foundation. Third, one of the downspouts was not re-routed. And fourth, the holes where the previous downspouts passed through a slate awning on the first floor were left exposed.  <br /> I called Kevin, and he was quick to apologize and offer to come over and fix the problems. Apparently his employee quit immediately after finishing my job. Due to other obligations, it took about three weeks of scheduling and two visits for the job to be finished. I still am in the process of cleaning the wood siding where the ladder left scuff marks and painting the exposed wood from where the old downspout mounting hardware was removed. <br /> Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the gutters. Kevin is a personable and honest person, who may just be stretched a little thin with work obligations. I am not thrilled about having to wash, scrape, and paint a little on the house - but we didn't agree to that so I don't hold him responsible. <br />

I received $200 worth of work for $100 with coupon purchase through Angie's list.  I required  gutter replacement of two runs plus corner on the second story of my home. Communication with Kevin Gwin was prompt and work was accomplished in a timely manner.  The 2 man repair team was courteous, pleasant and professional. Kevin came to the site during replacement to check on the crew progress.  Work was completed in a few hours and was done professionally and very much to my satisfaction. <br />

It turned out well. They left a lot of materials and they never came and picked it up. Everything was great except for the material that they left and they said they were going to come back and get and nobody came and got it so I had to pay for somebody to move it. The materials they used were really good. They were very professional and on time. It just seems like there’s a little bit of no communication between the owner and the workers.

They were prompt, courteous and professional. They even moved my house numbers that would have been hidden by a downspout.

We would and have recommended his company and would use them again.

Kevin Gwin was out of town when I contacted him.  We had a lengthy telephone discussion about my gutters, and he recommended that I buy some supplies to save me money and he would come by with his team to install the downs spout extensions when he retuned from his trip.   <br /> Upon Kevin Gwin's return, the work was performed timely and professionally, just as promised.  I received a follow-up call after the work was done to ensure I was happy with the work.  I am an extremely satisfied customer. <br />

I located Gwin's here on Angie's List and contacted them for a price quote. They returned a quick estimate via email and asked me to contact them for a more detailed quote. I requested a detailed quote via email and did not hear back from them within a week, so I called. They explained that a quote was emailed but may have been lost in transmission. However, after speaking with them, I received a detailed quote that day. Their quote was very reasonable and decided to have them install the gutters. They were able to schedule me the following week and arrived on time. They walked around the house with me and explained how the gutters will be installed and recommended the best locations for the downspouts. They were very professional, installed the gutters quickly, and cleaned up after the job was completed. I waited to post until after the first downpour so I could see how the gutters work, and they are great. I am very pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone. <br /> <br /> Update after a year: I have a couple of issues with the seams leaking and called Gwin's and left a voicemail. He called back and left me a voicemail stating he is on vacation and will follow up when he returns. I didn't receive a callback, so I called again after a few weeks and left another voicemail. It has been over a month since my last voicemail and I still haven't heard back. They do a great job installing the gutters, but not such a great job backing up their product.  For this reason, I changed the quality rating to a "C" from an "A".

Kevin was polite and courteous during his initial visit. They came by the next day and completed the work. We are very happy with the results.

After calling Gwin's, Bobby Blackburn, came to the house, checked out the job and completely explained what would be done.  He set up the appointment and I received a contract by email in a couple of days. On Dec 6, Kevin Gwin, the owner, and one helper spent the entire day cleaning the gutters on this very large, 3 story house...lots of copper gutters, collection boxes and downspouts The gutters were so full, some were overflowing from the collection boxes which was causing leaking in the house.  Several downspouts that go directly into the stormwater drains were not flowing so hoses had to be put down them to clear the debris.  They used a power washer to get a lot of the debris out of the gutters.  There was a lot of the debris in the gutters from having the roof replaced a year ago, including lot of nails, which after powerwashing, Gwin's cleaned up off the concrete driveway with a magnet.   A few days later after a 2-day rain, we discovered one of the downspouts that goes directly into the ground was not draining.  Kevin and Nick came back and ran a hose trying to clear it, but discovered it was a stormwater problem, not a gutter problem.  They were concerned and even called the City and explained the problem.  The city came out within the hour and Kevin and Nick stayed around to help the City figure out the problem and what could be done.  Thanks to Kevin and Nick, the City put in a work request to have a clean-out line installed.  They were here over 2 hours and did not charge for this visit.  Kevin and everyone in his company we dealt with were very professional and courteous.  They know what they are doing and get the job done quickly.  When I decide to replace the gutters, I will definitely call Gwin's.  <br />

Excellent.  Kevin and Nick called ahead and arrived on time; they completely fixed the damage to the front gutter and replaced a section as well, they also realign the section in back of the house to allow for a better flow of rain water to reduce/prevent overflow.  Their services were cost effective and we will use them in the future as well as recommend them to friends/family.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />If you have a gutter problem, call Gwin's Gutter Services and get it fixed at a reasonable price. <br />
