There was a mix-up with my building elevator reservation, and the movers ended up having to wait almost an hour before they could start bringing stuff up. I felt terrible about it, but they just waited patiently. Most companies would have been annoyed or tried to charge me extra for the delay, but they did not mention it at all. I am very grateful.

We needed to move display stock and extra supplies from a pop-up location before the lease ended. Most items were packed late the night before and stacked wherever they fit. The crew from GXL Moving Company rolled in, lined up the carts, and started clearing the back area first. They kept rotating between inside and the truck without slowing down. I didn’t see items being tossed or rushed. It saved us from needing another day on site.

The guys that moved my furniture were great. They were efficient and careful. My problem was behind the scene. Hire GXL then received a call from a competitor who told me of problems with the company I hired. I listened and prepared myself. Sure enough it started. I had wrapped everything in blankets and secured with straps. I've moved these pieces several times like this with no problem with global movers. GXL decided to plastic wrap them charging me $46 for the roll when I had one not 3 ft away for other pieces. They left my house in an hour, moving the furniture 2 miles. No sooner did they leave texted driveway and a supervisor texted me saying I would need to pay for another hour. I explained I had an hour left and felt the team would be done in the hour. I paid for the 2 hours. 5 minutes later the supervisor stating I would have to pay more if they went over the hour. I'm sure they will finish in the hour. The job was finished in 90 minutes, 30 minutes to spare.

It went wonderful. This company is highly professional and friendly. We are family oriented people and this company provided just that! Amazing, Fast, Professional, they also provided equipment to protect our TVs and mattress. I booked for 2 hrs, listen when I tell you in 100 plus degree weather, the guys were still fast, efficient, and gave us top quality. I will definitely use them for every move. Less headache and hassle. Oh yeah VERY reasonably priced too!

Nothing but good things to say about GXL Moving Company! My biggest worry during this move was my piano, which has been in my family for generations. However, the team came prepared with a piano dolly and plenty of padding. They coordinated perfectly to maneuver it down a narrow staircase without a scratch. When we arrived at the new house, they placed it exactly where I wanted, and made sure it was stable and level. I cannot thank them enough!

Moving is usually chaotic, but this time it was completely stress-free. The guys were organized and had a clear plan from the start. They loaded everything strategically, so it fit perfectly in the truck. My couch, which I thought would never fit through the doorway, was disassembled and reassembled without a hitch. These movers were absolute lifesavers! I was dreading packing up my kitchen, but they handled everything with such care. They wrapped each dish and glass individually in packing paper and then placed them in sturdy boxes with dividers. They even labeled each box with the contents and the room it belonged in. It made unpacking so much easier! They also used these special ramps to move my appliances, which was so much safer than trying to lift them.
