If I could, I would give this contractor a half-star or no-star. He and his workers were absolutely the most incompetent and completely dishonest. I contacted HALEY HAHN HOME SOLUTIONS (aka GUTTER PROTECTION / GUTTER TOPPER OF THE TRIAD / HALEY HOME SOLUTIONS) thru Angie's List for a simple deck renovation project. The owner, Mr. Chuck Haley, assured me they could easily handle the job. From the very beginning, he failed to do anything as promised, from repeatedly missing the start date and project timelines to arranging for Ronny, his "master carpenter," to view the project beforehand or discuss his plan changes. To make a very long story short, the 2 week project turned into more than 2 months, and after getting my second payment, they abruptly stopped work and then abandoned the project in a more than half unfinished state, oddly coinciding with my planned surgery. Lessons learned: Always have a contractor's license on the contract or letterhead; Do not agree to any partial payment prior project completion, with the exception of a small deposit; and understand whether the contractor will USE his license for purposes of permit or will do the job as unlicensed (for projects less than $30k).

Contractor took money in advance then only completed one phase (porch) of a three phase project. Walked away with our money and never returned. We filed a small came action and were awarded a judgment which Guilford County, NC has not been able to collect on our behalf. We have since learned that the operator of this company, Chuck Haley let his license expire back in 2015.

The job looked good. But gutters leaking at seams and overflowing roof line without going into gutter at gutter shield. They do not answer the phone and mail box is full so I can not even leave a message. I left a message on their web site but never got a reply.

With rain in the forecast, they called proactively to reschedule. Showed up on time, worked quickly and did a thorough job.

Great. With rain due dead-on the scheduled time, they proactively called to adjust the schedule, offering options for my convenience. Arrived on time for the rescheduled time, and cleaned everything fairly quickly.

They showed up on time, were professional and courteous, and performed a thorough clean of all of our gutters. This included getting debris and branches off of the our roof and roof line and bagging up and disposing of the leaves and debris that came out of the gutters.

Very thorough and very pleased. They replaced facia that had been damaged by local critters, I then went on to have them replace my gutters and install leaf guard. They coordinated all of their work with my painters and installed the new gutters very professionally. After installation, the job site was cleaned up.

OK but they didn't clean all of the downspouts which dilutes some of the vale of the service.

The employee who did the initial roof clean up was professional and, in fact, went above and beyond the work that was scheduled. Also, the supervisor who came to provide an estimate for replacing was also professional but pleasant. In addition, he was thoroughly knowledgeable an answered all the questions I had. The people who did the roofing were proficient but not as customer-oriented.

Haley Hahn arrived on time and quickly cleaned out the gutters. While on site they also gave a rough quote of replacing my existing gutters with new larger sized gutters & downspouts plus adding gutter guards as well. I will definitely have them replace the gutters in another year or so's time.

I love the guy that did it. They also do replacement windows. This guy was awesome. he actually called ahead. It had been a rainy week. He called ahead because we were anticipating a storm to see if he could come earlier that day so he could get it done around the storm on the day that he promised. Which I thought was great. He told me everything that I needed to know. It was gutter cleaning and tuneup is how they worded it. He told me every issue that I had. They were minor. I felt like he was honest about it. He was not a pushy salesperson. I actually asked him a couple of questions about other things I needed, He was very knowledgeable. He had just finished the ladies house across the street. Excellent job. I went over there to look at hers. I plan on calling them this summer to come and do some more work on replacing front porch posts and work on my deck.

Well done fast

They did an amazing job remodeling our screened in porch. The 4 track system will allow us to use it year round and also can help block out sun. The room simply looks amazing and is almost like having a new addition to the house. We are spending every evening out there when possible. Ron was very responsive and quick to follow up to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend them and would definitely hire again. Nice work! One of the most professional contractors I have ever hired.

Excellent work. Cleaned roof and gutters and bagged and removed all debris. Nice people to work with and very reasonable price. Will definetly use again.

I needed the work done on short notice, and Haley Hahn, though booked for that time frame, adjusted their schedule to meet my needs. On the day the work was done, they were punctual, thorough and efficient. This is the second time I have used their services with the same positive results.
