Owner Jody Straubel is great to work with. Provided detailed, itemized estimate and gave scheduling updates. Carpenters were hard workers, cleaned up the job site and got the work done quickly and efficiently - even working outside in December ! Satisfied with job !

Roof leaked in less than a year. Hammer time failed to send anyone to repair, however they sent someone to look at it, who left a mess. The owner Jodi Straubel cussed at my insurance adjuster and agent. Leak still not repaired.

PERFECT from start to finish. The house is an old two-story farmhouse originally built in the 1800's and a new kitchen addition was put on over a century later. It has a gambrel roof, which was the norm way back then. We were concerned as to how hard it would be to tear off the old shingles and put on new ones, due to the various heights and peaks. The roofers worked their magic and had it done in a matter of a few days, with nary a problem. Next came covering the entire house with Polar Wrap, Tyvek, and then the siding. We knew that once again it was not going to be an easy task.. and especially for only one man.. but Kenny went to work early in the morning, and did not quit until evening. It took him a few weeks and he just finished the entire project two days ago. We cannot say enough great things about him and the impeccable job he did, with every detail done to perfection. He is a true asset to his profession, and we have made a new friend. And last, but surely not least, is Jody the owner of Hammer Time. He is very nice, fair, honest, upfront about all costs, a great communicator, and is not the least bit pushy in any way. He truly cares about his workers and customers, and aims to please. He loves seeing the finished project which he did today, and I could see how proud he was by his big smile. Another new friend for us too! I highly recommend Hammer Time to anyone looking for home improvement and a great company.

We were very satisfied working with Jody and team. Very much liked his approach. He sold the project and as owner was involved thru out. He had a good mix of crew, very clean and professional. We were very comfortable during the work and they were very responsive. Very good quality workmanship and fair pricing. I strongly recommend contacting Hammertime for a quote, we interviewed 3 other companies, all were good but Hammertime clearly stood out and we're glad we chose them.

I had tried to get the contractor who recently roofed our home to come out and do the repair since we were still under warranty. After several phone calls to them and no attempts to address the issue, I checked Angie's list and called Hammer Time. They came out the same day to access the problem, determined what needed to be done and came out the next day to do the repair work. They had to install flashing, sheath the plywood on the chimney and install the vinyl siding in the chimney. We have had a couple heavy downpours since the repair with no leakage. We are very pleased with their prompt response and good work.

I would recommend Hammer Time for window replacement. We received a no hassle quote and then we were given time to think about the offer. Other companies kept lowering the price every time we said no or that we wanted to think about the offer. One company lowered their original quote from over ten thousand dollars before we said we were not going to sign and Hammer Time still beat the price. Hammer Time gave us a very good time frame as to when the windows would be made and installed and they still beat that time frame by a few weeks. The installers were neat and cleaned up all of the mess plus asked us if we saw anything they needed to do or clean up before they left. The windows and Hammer Time exceeded our expectations!

They were good. They did a good job. I don't know about the price yet, I haven't got the bill yet. I assume its an fair price. I am sure he is going to be fair. They came out, did their work, and that was it. My husband dealt with them, but they are good, hard workers.

Jody came out, tarped my roof and prepared a very detailed estimate for the insurance company. He then met with the adjustor who agreed to everything on the estimate. The work was subsequently scheduled and completed in a timely manner. Jody and his crew were nothing but professional and respectful. I was kept informed at every step of the way, and the work was completed in one day as promised. I manage both commercial and residential rental properties and deal with contractors and service providers regularly. I can say that dealing with Jody and the Hammer Time crew was an absolute pleasure. I will definitely use them again and I recommend them highly to anyone looking for roofing or home improvement services.

Jody quickly contacted me and asked for photos of the roof. He was so awesome he offered to use shingles he had in stock for free. He also noticed shingles on our garage had been ripped of also. He repaired those too!! EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! Jody didn't try to nickel and dime me for every little repair. Jody also performed a roof inspection and made recommendations to ensure the home's is properly maintained.

Great. The workers showed up on time, in the cold weather, in the snow, and fixed my roof.

Jodi was very friendly and great to work with. Chris and his crew did very good job on roof. We needed extra work done at our request that was not in the quote and they were very willing to do it at what we thought was a reasonable price. We will rehire in the spring for additional work to our home and we will have no problem referring them to others.

I contracted with Hammer Time to install siding, gutters and windows on my mid 80's colonial. The entire experience was excellent from initial contact through the end. My home is fairly large and has unique features which required a great deal of custom work for all of the tradesmen… I am happy to say that they all performed well beyond expectation. We started with siding and gutters; the original wood siding was dated and needed an overhaul… the gutters were a total disaster. Hammer Time replaced where necessary, the decaying wood and relocated the gutters to a more efficient location which helped with functionality as well as aesthetics. Until the first big storm, I never knew just how much water a 6" commercial gutter could move. I am happy to say that after the install, my sump pump rarely runs and I am no longer concerned about drainage when a storm rolls in. A couple of month later, we had approximately 50% of our windows replaced with new high efficiency vinyl replacements. After hearing horror stories from others about how the window replacement process can be, I braced for the worse. The thought of having someone knocking out my windows and exposing my home to the elements just didn’t seem like something that I wanted to go through. Once again, Hammer Time sent their best guys who did full frame tear outs, moved quickly, did a first class job on the install and left zero mess. The carpet was protected, debris removed and even the existing moldings were preserved. The install looks better than what you would find in new construction and I love the noise reduction and efficiencies that have been gained. Bottom line here is that this was money very well spent. I have already talked with them on finishing the remaining windows next year and possibly look at some decking options the following year. You won't go wrong with these guys... a truly great company to work with.

Well we bought our home over the summer and we knew going in that we'd need a new roof in the near future, next couple of years.  Well a few weeks back I noticed that part of the dinning room ceiling was starting to crack.  So while I investigated the issue I determined that the roof was leaking.  With it being late fall I wasn't sure if I'd find someone who'd repair the roof before spring.  I even thought of doing the roof myself, I have the knowledge and ability but time was my problem plus I'm just not a kid anymore.  So I started looking for contractors and making call.  Most of the companied I contacted didn't even return my calls and the others weren't interested in the work.  Then out of nowhere I got a callback from Hammer Time and they were willing to come take a look at it the very next day.  That was when I met Craig who checked the roof and wrote me the estimate.  We determined that the entire roof was failing and need to be replaced which I totally agreed.  Craig measured everything up and started to work us up a price.  So I said earlier that I had the knowledge and ability to do the job, well truth told I was a licensed builder myself and had just recently let my license expire, I just don't do construction work anymore so I was paying for a license I just didn't use.  So with that I had figured the roof job up and had already come up with what I would have charged for the job and what materials I would have used.  When Craig came to me with his quote he explained how they'd do the job and with what materials which was exactly how I'd do it.  When he showed me his price it was almost exactly what I had already figured so I felt the price was very fair.  So I was happy with the price so now the only question was when could they start, it was then that Craig said that they could start the following week, I was shocked to say the least and was ready to start the work.  We agreed to the price and the crew showed up Monday Morning bright and early even though over the weekend we had nearly a foot of snow fall at our home.  The Crew Foreman was Chris who is one of the hardest working men I've seen in a very long time.  He had the crew on the roof within minutes of arriving and everyone was shoveling the roof off so that they could get to the shingles.  Within the first hour they were already tearing into the roof, the entire ground surface around the house was covered with tarps and those guys, a crew of 6, were making quick work of getting rid of the old roof.  Only small pieced of debris and some nails hit the ground, the majority of the old roof materials were torn off and thrown directly into the dumpster that they had delivered to the house.  By the end of the second day the entire roof was replaced and they had cleaned up the mess and were done.  The crew went around the house several times with huge magnets making sure they got all the nails they could find.  As I had mentioned there had been a snowstorm so Chris told me before he left that he'd come by on Saturday after the snow had melted to clean out the gutters and get any nails that were buried in the snow.  Well like clock work, Chris was there on Saturday and cleaned out all our gutters and then made numerous passes around our house making sure that there were no nails left behind.  These guys were awesome and I'd recommend them in a minute! <br />

Hammer time was on time and on price. Very easy to work with. They cleaned up after themselves as best they could without disturbing the animals when the job was finished. We already have another project for them in the near future.  <br />

We chose Hammertime because a friend of ours used their company for new windows and were very satisfied. Craig and his team were very professional ,attentive and punctual. The roof was taken down to plywood and redone with new waterproof membrane style instead of old felt paper. The valleys were securely covered with a wide roll of Waterproofing product also. The roof looks great and I feel very confident in recommending Hammertime for your house. <br />
