I needed a row of shrubs removed and disposed in order to have grass planted in my yard. He came out and looked at it after getting my lead on homeadvisor. He said to cancel my appointment and work with him privately because he can do it for 350 dollars. I told him I would give him 500 because of how much work. He showed up and cut down the shrubs, didn’t come prepared that day to dispose. He said he needed 200 additional dollars to dispose. We negotiated to 550, I check on the work to see the stumps and roots were not removed even tho that is what we agreed on. He came out a couple days later to dispose of the shrubs so I confronted about the incomplete removal of shrubs, the stumps being there will prevent adding grass to that area. He tells me that I am already getting a good deal so anymore work is too much. This is after he came out, looked things over and estimated that it would only cost 350. He tells me because of the cost of a trailer and disposal to him he was planning on not showing up to dispose and just cancelling on me but decided to be nice. I just assume showing up to a job that was agreed on that I would pay for isn’t being nice but just being professional. After cleaning up and packing up a uhaul with all the shrubs he left behind a pile that I guess didn’t fit in the truck. We will now have to work with someone to dispose of that pile and also move it back to our backyard because he just left it in the front yard. Working with this company was a huge mistake and I advise to go a different direction for landscaping work.
