I picked out everything myself and then they went and picked it up. They did suggest a specific type of paint. They made some small suggestions but basically I made the choices myself. I am very pleased. They cleaned up reasonably well. They put a plastic up between where they were working and where I was living.

On both jobs, they were professional. Their workers cleaned up and did not leave any messes. They always arrived when they said they would. The façade work was effected by the weather and by the availability of the building inspector and Structural Engineer. They kept on schedule. The rep came out to see what the job entails. He said he would bring the man who would do the actual work the following day. They claimed to do professional concrete work with professional concrete craftsmen. Even the secretary stated that they did use professional concrete workers; basically professionals in the field. The man said he could do it, but was not sure on the color. They didn’t know the first thing about repairing a crack. Instead he smeared concrete across the steps. Ended up not being able to match the color. I suggested using the natural grey concrete color. What he did was obviously not what one is supposed to do in this situation. There is moisture now trapped in the concrete. I’m starting to see the concrete crack again. It looks like crocodile scales. I had a couple of other contractors come out to inspect the work and they agreed that moisture was trapped and that it was done poorly. Now I have to have the stoop completely removed because of the moisture trapped. The final straw that got to me was... I called Paul the rep, he came out and looked at the damage and he said he would have to get with the owner to look into the project. I never heard back from Paul the rep. I ended up calling the owner, Bob G., and he too said he would have to come out and look at the project. And again, never heard anything from them since.

A project manager came to scope out the job. then, a different service person came to do the work. <br /> Everything seemed to be fine when the work was initially completed. there was no follow up from the company once the work was completed. <br /> Shortly afterwards, I noticed that my garbage disposal was not working. Due to financial concerns, I did not have another service visit. This past weekend my kitchen sink flooded because the pipe under the sink disconnected. <br /> The plumber who came on April 24, told me the pipe fell off because it had been reattached UPSIDE DOWN. He also checked the garbage disposal and found it was jammed with bits of metal. <br /> The serviceman from Handyman connection did nothing to protect the Kitchen sink, bathroom sink, or tub he worked in. The tub was left with the metal debris, so it seems when the debris went into the kitchen sink drain he did not clean it out. I cleaned up after him without knowing that metal had gotten in the disposal. At the time of service, he had to use a saw to remove the old faucet and scratched the stainless steel surface of the sink. He did tell me that he was going to do it, but he also did not put any tape down to try to protect the surface. <br /> Now, <strong>I am stuck with a bill for $146.90 from a plumber to correct the work done by Handyman Connection</strong>. <br /> I also fear that the shower work was not done correctly as the the hot water handle is not secure. <br /> A follow up visit or call to check on the work performed would have been proper and professional to ensure that the work was done correctly.

Everything went well from the estimate to getting the work done. The work was performed in a very professional manner and cleaned up at the end of the day. The schedule was followed pretty tightly. When I expected work to be done, 95% of the time, the worker was there. Friendly but not too involved. It was just well done. No complaints.

They showed up when they said they were going to show up. If they could not at least, they would call and tell me that they could not. It took a little while to get a contract, l needed some figures and a spec and that took a while for him to put together. He had sent a couple of different people as it depended on what type of job I needed done, sometimes he had to send a plumber, sometimes he had to send an electrician and sometimes he just had to send a handyman. However, they always came when they said they were going to and all of them did a good job. There was one thing that was not done to my satisfaction, they came back and fixed it. It was not an issue, he did not argue with me. I showed him and that was it, he fixed it. The guy who was in charge, his name is Steve. Sometimes he was a little hard to get hold of because he was kind of busy and took a little while to get a quote but he gave it, he finally got the quote. When I finally got the contract and he said he was going to be there, his guys were here when they said they were going to be. That was never an issue. They left it clean, they never left a mess. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I would definitely rehire him in the future.

I spent about $2200 on that service and I thought that they were a little overpriced. My interaction with them and the work they did was fine. I would not use them again because of the pricing.

The repair person they send was great. He worked on each project until it was completed and look great. He was very professional and respectful of not only my home but my family as well. They are truly a great company to work with. I would use them again as well as recommend them to my friends.

They were very good. They were polite and cleaned up everything. They did everything in a timely fashion. I would recommend other members to use them as they were very reliable, punctual and did everything the way they were supposed to do. Their price was reasonable. I have even called them back for some other work.

It?s a garage door where you need to push a button and it goes up and down. So it stopped working after 35 years and had to be fixed. They seemed to know what they were doing. They were prompt. They were here when we set the appointment. They met me here late morning and got the work done as quickly as possible. We didn?t have to call them back since it was fine.

Required some outdoor maintenance in order to comply with homeowners association rules. Once I contacted the company through the web, they called me back within an hour to set up a time for an estimate. They were on time for the estimate appointment. I was given a written estimate. Once I accepted the estimate for the work to be done, the work was scheduled promptly. The carpenter who was scheduled to complete my job was on time. He kept me informed of his progress throughout the job. He was very professional. I was very happy with the end results. The house looks great.

Handyman Connection estimator responded quickly, did a thorough estimate, and talked me through the pros and cons of handling it a couple of ways, and could schedule the work to be done on our time schedule. The workman showed up as promised, with the materials for the job. There had been an error in the estimator's measurements that meant he had to return some materials and fetch new ones, so he had to spend a little longer on the job than he hoped, but he was pleasant about it - it wasn't a problem for me. Our ceiling height was a poor match for the new stairs, so the workman had to shorten them. That added extra time and visits to the job, as well. He was neat and clean with the workspace, took care of the material removed, and didn't mind explaining to me what he was doing, or letting me look at the work progress. The new stairs looked fine when done, and we were able to stay on our show schedule.

I spent $227. They were expensive. The experience was okay. The guy, who came was a little strange. I wasn?t thrilled with him. I wouldn?t recommend this company to others. I will not use them again in the future.

The ceiling was repaired beautifully corners and all. He was pleasant and did a good job. I would have liked the clean up to be a little more intensive.

We were putting our house up for sale and knew that we had some repairs to do. The handrail was needed because it would be required in a home inspection and the others were needed to make the house more saleable.
