The HandyManuel team was very proactive and I was very satisfied with the quality of their work. I ordered sliding bypass doors for my home office and was able to ship them directly to Handy Manuel's warehouse, and they painted the doors before bringing them over for final installation. When they discovered that the door manufacturer didn't add in notches for the door handles, Handy Manuel proactively reached out to the manufacturer on my behalf to request a partial refund which was promptly processed. It was great of them to take that on so I didn't have to deal with that headache during the work day! Definitely recommend!

While they may be able to order obscure parts, I would not recommend due to the quality of their installation. The storm windows I ordered were measured incorrectly (by two people) and when installed (too small) the work around they chose resulted in ineffective windows against cold and rain. When the technician installed them he pointed out the size was too small for the window and he needed to fill the opening. When I brought this to the attention of management they offered three solutions. 1) They remeasure and reorder the storm windows, covering the total cost of the reorder. But in this scenario they would have to cover the cost which would be a hardship for them. 2) I asked if they would reinstall the storm windows with the opening at the top of the window instead of the bottom (so it would at least look and work better in that water could drain out) and this was not their preferred solution as it meant more work for them. 3) The last option is what they came prepared to do; paint over their error so it was less noticeable and caulk around the windows (and now any rain water won't drain out). Management said I would not have noticed the problem if the technician had not brought to my attention. Interesting comment deflecting blame from them. I will not hire them again because what I received for the money (I should have demanded option 1) is a very poor solution to my need even if I won't own the house forever. Very disappointed.

I purchase a new door and during installation the wood around the lock cracked. I'm not sure if this will compromise the lock in the future. I requested a peep hole in the door, the peep hole is taller than me I can't even use it. A waste of money. For me a professional would have not made this mistake. I'm still waiting for the storm door to be delivered and install.

Overall I'd give a 3.5. This business was very responsive via email, however, it appeared that the office/schedulers weren't in contact with the tech. The tech showed up 3.5 hours before my scheduled appointment. He also did not have the pictures of my door from his coworker that was to be completed. Based on my communication with the scheduler, the photos I sent and described problem, it seemed that Handymanual could fix my issue. Once the tech arrived, he said 'there's not much we can do about this.' The tech was very nice and did the best he could do, but it seemed like better communication and attentiveness could have solved many of these issues.

They showed up on time, did the job I requested quickly and cleaned up when they left. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again.

I was very impressed with Handy Manuel. They quickly returned contact, quickly bid my job, and once I selected them quickly performed the work. They provided me with copies of the license and insurance and were very responsive via email.

They did a great job. The workers were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The only thing I didn't like was that they did not clean up their saw dust after repairing the wood on my house.
